Tips for Using the "Comments" Section of The post Online
1) Comment Section
Readers of The Post Online may have noticed that it is now necessary to register in order to comment on the site. This is in keeping with the international standard in these matters. Even the New York Times expects its readers to be registered before they could comment. Your registration is safe, and is contained in a server in the United States controlled by a third party, not The Post. Registration also protects The Post from illegal spam from pornographic and racist sites. We have had to clean up massive quantities of illegal spam and links on at least three occasions in the previous year.
Many readers and staff at The Post have had difficulties registering and making comments on the system. One of our readers, Dr Agbormbai discovered the solution in the free Firefox browser. Firefox is a rival of the popular Microsoft Explorer, that has been found to be faster, more stable and more secure. If you have not done so already, you may consider downloading Firefox by clicking on the button below.
2) Support The Post
We are pleased that some of our readers have responded to our appeal to support the Post Online operation with voluntary donations. If you have not done so already, please join the regular contributors to your favorite online news source. We shall continue to keep The Post Online free.
