Open Letter To Chantal

There isn't only one Chantal in Cameroon. But it is established that there is a national one. Whoever doesn't know her should call the First Lady. We follow as we hear and see all your achievements through CERAC or SYNERGIES, and more. We refuse to be selfish with what we can afford free for you: Contracts, thanks and Cheers.

If we had your phone number, we would have called you to be more discrete and guide your generosity the more. Suffer, please, that we reach you through The Post we believe you also read.

So many times have you helped those who survived the Nsam Efoulan fire disaster where close to 300 people died. Not only did the rich oil or fuel depot thought so well of them, more than one ministry got involved in resettling them. We have liked all the moves so far.

Our meagre problem is your blank memory on the Nyos disaster, which claimed more than 1703 Cameroonians. In addition to this huge number, we beg to remember Moses, the baby who mystically was the only survivor in the Subum maternity.

He later died of common diarrhoea in the poor hands of his forgotten father. We know you were quite young in 1986, but already with the genes of a First Lady. We do not only want to know what you have in your cheerful mind for victims of the Nyos disaster, we wish you extended your national generosity to them in your plan of action:

education, health, agro-pastoral farming … and a visit with a smile. For your name and position to be greater. Learn to bother historically. Nyos came before Nsam. And in both places, you have your cherished Cameroonians. You are endowed with the magic of appealing to sponsors and donors. Your duty is to be positively and meaningfully selective for your national greatness.

Have we not talked well? If not advise us. We mentioned education in your expected actions. It makes us think of CHAMPIONS schools you cause to be. We hear they are already five (5) in number. Out of the 10 provinces in our dear country, we sincerely believed that four Francophones are to one Anglophone, and that logically out of five schools at least one had to be either bilingual or of the English sub-system in force in Cameroon.

Help us not to be disappointed in this simple game of figures. Or, is it the Premier Lady (read wife of the Prime Minister) to cater for Anglos with the subvention of Macmillan in place of Edicef…? Across the Mungo, we are puzzled. May there be room in your memory for our children and their mothers: Champion school equipped to all academic teeth, gynaecology - obstetric hospital, child-care centre with Christmas presents, attention to remedy some tensions.

This is not a close letter. Sir Stephen Mbiatcha we often listen "breaking" English, can read and summarize it for you. There are more things to broad light: victims of floods and landslides in Limbe and Lebialem where even good roads to reach the potential beneficiaries are not only bad but absent. But, First Lady, embrace Nyos first, and then… then… to share the warmth you see to have in quantum.

Best regards  Nde Ngahnu

This is so sad! Does the first lady ever think of Southern Cameroonians? Please stop begging for what is yours. Let them treat everyone fairly and let her act like Hilary clinton then i would respect her.

Madame Biya is a great philanthropist no doubt, but the greatest puzzle is: where is the source of such huge sums of money?

Madam Biya my lass. Thief thing. bacdlock woman

where does she work?

her husband has the key to the banks that
hold all anglophones and francophones moneys, no oversight.......

only in banana republic

Well This is just camouflage, or a deviance of attention from real issues. if u are asking for Rice for Nyos survivors, first ask the cause of the disaster. many more.
thanks

First lady my foot.Where is she working that she s spending all that money. Those are the type of people who still state money and very soon the states start to experience some economic crisis. And we say corruption should reduce? When the real people to reduce it are instead involve?

And she is so discriminating. Why is she focusing only on the Francophone Zone? Neglecting the Anglophones? That is why we need our own autonomous state.

Nevertheless she is good to a little extend cos she focuses only on the francophone part.

Ms. Chantal has no executive powers. It is a sad state of affairs when mayors have solicite the first lady for projects that the president had planned to accomplish. Her role is ceremonial and charitable. That's it!

I say again madam Biya my lass. She is also ruling cameroon. Foreign government gives loans for cameroon, she used it at her disporsal , saying she doing charity, when Biya will die and waiting that charity again. Akwara, bomosho. ashawo

Please Grandstevo do not use words like that. You can make your point without getting into the gutter. I see your hurt but dirty language does not make it right, it turns people off.

a blessing day to u
dear sir i just wish to extent some doubtes to madame chatal the wife of the president
