Surprised to hear Abety talked as if he was in support of the creation of the board in 1993.Abety and all other agents of Biya from the NW and SW considered the Teachers´strike at the time as rebelion against their master Biya.Abety was so mad with the CPDM,one time he went to Kumbo and made a statement that he was advised by his political mentor,Fonlon not to ever be in the opposition. The question I asked at the time was, what will happen to him if the CPDM is not in power? Will he resign to join the ruling party or remain in the CPDM which if not in power will take the role of the opposition?
These fools from the NW and SW,because of selfish interest, they have sacrified Anglophone interest inorder to gain favour from Biya. These are the very people who saw nothing wrong with the 1996 constitution which gave right to Republic of Cameroon thereby wiping the identity of Anglophone Cameroon.Abety and others saw nothing wrong with the name Republic of Cameroon which is against Anglophone interest.
If you ask Abety his opinion about the necessity of the GCE board in 1993,he would have considered it rebelion against his master,Biya

"Whatever thing we will like to do, it will always be a proposal to be made to the supervisory Ministry, who will appreciate it and take the decisions. I will do everything possible to make sure that what is required in the board would be well presented to the government, especially to the Minister of Secondary Education, who will take necessary measures to satisfy all the demands of the board,"

This goes to spoil something under repairs.
This is telling us that the Ministry will continue its mission of destroy the Anglo saxon syatem of eduction which is conspicous with technical eduction in West Cameroon. Abety watch out!

Seseko moh Tabiewube

Abety sit down quitly and eat. There is no need trying to defend your appointment. Dr. Biya knows only a few competent Cameroonians and luckily you are among them. Be celebrating your grand retour from the hamattan cold rather than saying that you fought for the creation of the Examination Board. Were you not among those who thought teachers were mad fighting for the creation of the GCE Board. Reaping where you never sow. Only shamely people speak like you.

Nde cletus

May God really help our dear country. It is really a punch in the face by whosoever appointed Abetty to this position.
Can you imagine that this is some one who has for reasons well known to his stomach, stood on the path of progress of the English speaking community for as far back as one could think now is going to harvest from a farm that he never planted. He never supported the idea of the GCE Board and now you expect him to serve the interest of the board. Is this a clear message that the destruction of institutions that are most important to the English speaking community is still a big agenda for la Republique as they would not want to appoint someone who is constructive and with a sense of direction?
What a mockery?

Luis

who is the chairman of the Board in the University of BUEA, Cameroon now ?
