Orange Cameroun Offers Subscribers Extra Airtime

By Elvis Tah

Orange Cameroun, one of the leading mobile telephony companies in Cameroon, has made an exceptional offer of airtime on its Joker 500 Bundle option.

This innovation enables Orange Cameroun subscribers to benefit from a monthly extra communication credit and one year of reception. The subscription,, which started on September 22 will end on October 31.

According to Orange Cameroun, September to October is a very difficult period for parents, given that they are compelled to increase their expenditures by paying school fees, procuring school materials for their children and meet up with other financial exigencies.
The six months extra free communication credits, according to Orange Cameroun, will help to cut down the expenditures and improve the living standards of its subscribers.

How To Benefit From Extra Credits

Orange Cameroun has simplified the Joker 500 Bundle option. To benefit from the option, subscribers simply have to recharge their accounts using a scratch card of FCFA 5000, FCFA 10, 000 or FCFA 50,000.

After scratching the card, they have to send either Go 5 or Go 10 or Go 50 through SMS to 936(*) followed by the Joker 500 Bundle amount chosen (500, 1000 or 5000). Subscribers will be debited according to the amount of their credit.

They shall automatically be receiving FCFA 500 or FCFA 1000 or FCFA 5000 communication credit each month for a year, depending on the amount on the scratch card used.
It should be noted that OCM is the only communication outfit to make this type of offer to its subscribers.

Other Advantages

Orange Cameroun asserts that its subscribers shall enjoy a minimum tariff of FCFA 5 per second. They shall have a monthly credit guarantee of FCFA 500 or FCFA 1000 or FCFA 5000 for one year, and a one-year validity period of their SIM card even without crediting their accounts. They shall equally have a two-month bonus.

Subscribers taking the Joker 500 Bundle option shall be entitled to pay just half of the amount that is FCFA 3000 only instead of FCFA 6000.They shall be expected to have at least FCFA 3000 credit in their account. This option according to Orange Cameroun makes for security and comfort.
