Those who received Gold medals were the Regional Manager, Daniel Tchakounang, Yap Issah, Joseph Tayah Nformi, Jean Pierre Tadzong, Njoume Same, Gabriel Sakeng, Samuel Ndowou, Maurice Mitchop, Joseph Elolongue, Camille Assoua.

Those received Silver and Silver Guilds were Nicodemus Awa, Jacques Biboum, Martin Eboa Moukor, Rene Ewane, Jean Marie Ngouabou, Edouard Nguetsa, John Siwe Pendeu, Culbert Tang Abwa, Samuel Fran Tchaptsa, Eric Tirla, Jean Marie Todze, and Gustav Zoa Ayissi.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nkili lauded Les Brasseries du Cameroun's efforts in nation building. He stated that the company is the number one employer in Cameroon.
According to Nkili, the staff of the Regional Centre was enjoying social dialogue and camaraderie which, according to him, enables the company to overcome obstacles within the enterprise.

"Les Brasseries du Cameroun is a company for the citizens. It is the leader and will always remain the leader in the Central African region," said Nkili. He reminded Les Brasseries du Cameroun workers that there are three important stakeholders in the business; "the administrator, the workers and the customers.

Amongst the three, the customer is the king because he/she is the person that takes the decision to either buy a bottle of Castel or not to buy." The Minister entreated the workers to demonstrate a strong spirit of clientele in order to ensure that the enterprise grows from strength to strength.

For his part, the General Manager of Les Brasseries du Cameroun, Andre Siaka, said the award of labour medals creates an enabling environment for workers of his company to be recognised.

"It is a legitimate right for workers to be recognised and honoured. The medals are the best token of recognition of hard work, assiduity and devotedness to the company."
Siaka encouraged other workers who were not privileged to be honoured to continue working hard in order to receive theirs in the future.

The Southwest Regional Manager of Les Brasseries du Cameroun, Daniel Tchakounang, who has been laureate of three other medals, told the press that he owed his medals to hard work and dedication to the company.
