Lions of Cameroon: Indomitable or Vulnerable?

It was a jostle, but a jostle all the same, by the Togolese flying Hawks led by Arsenal star Adebayor that brought the Lions of Cameroon to bended knee. The defeat put the team on an official losing streak, including the 0-1 loss to Egyptian Pharaohs at the African Cup of Nations in February of 2008. Among several disturbing facts about the collection of stars that is yet to jell as a team, consider this fact: It has gone scoreless in both games, in spite fielding Europe’s top scorer in the person of Eto’o Fils.

Will the foursome that has been charged with coaching the team turn a new leaf or, is this all old wine in new wine skin? Will there be any air left to breathe in the room after it is filled up by their respective egos? How about the players? Will the coaches work with what they have and use it as leverage to blame Otto Pfister who had had enough of Cameroon’s baloney?

Looking at their present stand i don't think Cameroon will qualify for the world cup in South Afrcia. They keep fooling themselves that they are number one in Arica and sleep in their past glories. Other countries and without the likes of Eto are working hard and yeilding results.
Shame to the domitable lions.

I think the Lions should forget about the world and concentrate on somthing else.
We are tired of the disgrace the bring to us each time the represent us. The old brooms of the likes of Song, Njitap should hand over to young talented boys around. What is wrong with Cameroon? From their leaders to team captains want to say in power for ever?
Whaen will we see a change of new blood? At least Gabon will have a new president soon even if it be Bongo's 50 year old son.
Hello Cameroon shake up your regime and wake up from sleep. How would you feel not featuring in two world cups? This might be the only opportunity to play one on African soil.
I weep for you so badly. Hope Nkono will turn things around.
