According to Dr. Peter Abety, publication of results by Marafa even before all results are gotten from the polls is not treason. SHAME.

Francis

Abety, It is a disgrace to you talk like a coward. Where and when where you a DR?. Bc my old dad who never went to school will think upright. As JB said Marafa pronounced victory without getting results,The CPDM hired crokes from America who siad "Free and Fair elctions, Useless Meterand congratulates a week before results are to be announced.Who then is praying for the 1992 situation? SDF or CPDM. You are already afraid of the outcome.Lets wait and see. When you so called Dr call Cameroon a peace loving Nation do you mean it?.When it will start there will be no peace if people like you tak trash...

claude ngang

Mr.Abety is a disgraced politician and a coward. What the hell was he doing in a NEO meeting? He should learn to keep his mouth shut. His time is long gone.

Joe

Mr. Abety can claim to have much concern for the Northwesterns, else he couldn't have been fanning tribal wars. I think he has an empty brain.

Neba Funiba

Which ministry was abety incharge of and what did he do for Bambili and Awing communities to improve their lives? People forget that some of these Anglophone jokers who are made ministers of special duties at the presidency stay in Yaounde and get dumped two or three years after without ever meeting biya face-to-face; abety is one of them. When we shall have a Nuremburg-style trial in Cameroon, peter abety and achidi achu shall top the list of those to stand trial.

JB

MAY GOD'S WILL BE DONE IN CAMEROON

Ngu Maboh

When people are calling themselves ministers, the lousy and stupid Abety would also say he was once a minister... of what? The Minister of Culture has a a ministry of Culture just like the Ministers of Finance, Sports, Economy and Finance etc. God alone knows where the Ministry of "Special Duties at the Presidency" is located. He could not have reacted otherwise. his reaction is just a replica of what cpdm chiftains would always do. his time has past. he is looking for a means to get back his "Ministry of Special Duties at the Presidency" Abety, you had better shut your mouth. You have nothing to offer.

the sheikh

While should real Cameroonians border them selves over renagades in the likes of Abety? He is a lost soul wondering in a limbo, who knows not where to go to. If i were to go to hell today and meet Abety in the same Hell as me, then i will blame God For haven favored Abety. people like him who have no conscience are not even supposed to enjoy the previlage of living in the same hell with normal siners. He is supposed to be caged in a special hell where he can not move even a muscle.
I doubt where he even got his doctorate degree because in my opinion people like that should be striped of such honorary tittles
Well may satan receive his soul in hell and fast too....

sango

Hey people, lets try to be realistic and stop questioning the personality of Abety. Does what he said have any legal backing? I agree it was biased and he should have talked about MINTAD publishing results because I believe SDF published its own results in reaction to what MINTAD was doing (results meaning trends). Did both parties act against the Law, if so should they be punished and how. Lets try to stay focus and make comments about issues not about our sentiments.

T. Victor

Both parties acting against the law? What law are we talking about? Is there a law in Cameroon? Please lets be real..

Janvier Tchouteu

Since 1992, politics in Kamerun has been a reaction to actions taken by the Biya regime and the system it is defending. To change kamerun, the struggling masses led by their advanced representatives (union nationalists with a clear essence of the struggle) with revolutionary fervour and vision, would have to take the centre stage and be the pace-setters of the struggle. That is when we Kamerunians shall understand that figures like Abety are just detractors whose empty phrases should be ignored, that Biya deserves to be in a psychiatric sanatorium and that the current heads of the so-called opposition leaders are neither revolutionaries nor nationalists , and that pseudo-leaders for change having been acting like amateurs and also bear much of the blame for our failure to unseat Biya and bring an end to the anachronistic French-imposed system. Biya's election result is a lie. But builders of the new kamerun should not fight a lie with a lie of the own. The worst self-destructive crime a parent, a group, a government or the world can commit is to lie to its people.
