Do not be afraid of intimidation.Stand firm for your right? You will be free oneday. Is not far. They wil all be ashamed. In God we Trust.

Martin

Saturday 1 October 2005 marks the 44th Independence Day for the People of Southern Cameroons. All sons and daughters, including the brethren in North America, Europe, Southern Africa, West Africa and in the Far East, should celebrate and meditate.

Above all, we should pray to God Almighty to empower leaders of the Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC) to escalate through PEACEFUL means - the Force of Argument" - to de-annex our homeland from rape, plunder and human rights abuse by the neo-colonial forces of La Republique du Cameroun.

We should pray that President Paul Biya will come to his senses and halt his national integrationist policies, vis-à-vis the "frenchification" of Southern Cameroons by decrees, and co-operate fully with the SCNC and international bodies for a defining referendum to ascertain the authentic will of the People of Southern Cameroons. Above all, Mr Biya will be setting no precedent as Canada and Quebec routinely engage in a similar democratic exercise.

AMEN.

Martin

Randy

An excellent suggestion from our brother Martin!

Like one man, let all of us Southern Cameroonians, religious and non-religious in all the continents, from 24:00-24:07, (Cameroonian time) October 1, join our hearts in meditation. Let's remember and pray for those breathren currently incarcerated and those who lost their lives for the liberation of our fatherland. Let's remember our departed statesmen like Albert Mukong, JN Foncha, ST Muna, AN Jua, etc. Though already in the world beyond, let us, in the true African tradition ask them to lend us their unrelenting spirit to sustain the struggle to liberate Southern Cameroons under the umbrella of SCNC and the other organisations by the "Force of Argument."

stanley

I have said it and will continue saying it: I don t agree that they exist any magilisation whatever toward the Anglophones in cameroon.I am from the norht west province and personally dont see the need for the trouble our brothers are causing.I dont in anyway agree with Biya 's Govt and his assistant ministers he sent to
talk about his problem, but sincerely speaking we Anglophones can live better if we join in the fight to make cameroon more united in our own way,we can make our lives worth living and be proud of our fatherland, i love to be identified as a cameroonian. Its not because a fool like Biya has spilled much of the honey and milk which flows out of this land that i can abadone it for him.NO NO NO:I will rather join Fru Ndi to fight for a new Cameroon, even though i don t trust him any longer either.Half bread is better than none.

stanley

ATS

Stanley shot-up and stop pasting this stinking ideas of yours. this is a site for contructive thoughts not for derailled brains like yours. You would rather join Fru Ndi and yet you don't trust him, are you really concious or you simply want to hear or see yourself write or speak. which is the half bread you are talking about and where are you writing from in the first place? when you talk of contributing in our small way, what are you thinking in your small mind. This shows how uninformed you are even about the party you claim to support. Let me advice you, if you cann't support the scnc, then i'd rather you go behind Biya where you are sure to get some 'gombo'. You really irritate people when you keep pasting these you synthetically and semanthically sick sentences on this site. Go join Yang and co Ltd so you can begin to know to what extent you are liable for whatever out of mind statements you make.
Start reading from your dictionary to a collection of history of the relation and activities between southern cameroon and la Repulic[if at all you will know where to find them] so you can get some basic idea of what marginalisation is.
Reverse man, better be the last on the right road than be the first on the wrong one. Think again.

stanley

Hello ATS, thank you for contributing your ideas.I respect your opinion, you need to respect mine, man, dont expect eveybody to think as foolishly as you do by thinking that division is better than unity, i like and enjoy the diversity which cameroon potrails , culturally, linguistically, and what have you.I will not in any case exchange this for what so ever evil ways of thinking SCNC preaches. They make us to look at our brothers from the french speaking zone as enemies , i enjoy great relationship with them, speak English and french which has helped me internationally:To be short and precise i stand for unity and will preach it in its entity.
For where I am writing from i am sorry you will not know.Thats not the point here.
Long Live the Republic of CAMEROON.

Africa

Stanley I am in 100% in suport of you. What I see here is that SCNC have been political with its Ideas partly telling the truth and hoping to make future gains of its own just like it predecessor.Cameroonian of all conners of the Triangle is in The Governmet shit and need get out of it.
I read from Randy about states men like Albert Mukong, JN Foncha, ST Muna, AN Jua, where is E.M.L Endely?? why try to hide a State man with Great Vission and give credits to Gambler like Albert Mukong, JN Foncha, ST Muna, AN Jua.They traded us for their selfish ambitions only after 30 of deception and shame did they decide to turn around to save their faces. And for what purpose??.They are not fighting for any Cameroonian cause, not for the southwest and Northwest provinces.
I am from the southwest province and I will fight to save the Unity vote my Late grand father and mother cast on that day.I will not fail to mention that my dady was a stunch supporter of Endely and did say no(his vote) on that day but he has respected the out come of the vote till date.

The Post remains the most informative English newpaper in "Cameroon" and i will strongly suggest that it be reserved for the most knowledgeable of persons. i will not recommend mediocres and half-baked morons like Stanley and the so called Africa to defile this page/paper.
Now to solid ideas: only a mad man will go to sleep with his house on fire and if you ask me the defination of a mad man, i will put it referential: Stanley and so called Africa. He who says there is no Anglophone problem then that person deserves to be hanged. I do not blame them much because judging from their very poor English Expression, one can unhesitantly deduce that they are not schooled in anything and ATS has a point when he recommend they go back to their history boards. i undersatnd some of them might be contented living under the embers of fallen crumbs from an usurper's table but not all of us are concerned with the remains of what belongs to us. May be we need to remind them of the demise of the Cameroon Bank, the National Producing Marketing Board and more... the idiots they don't know and they do not care to know because they have been blinded by the greed of their sufferings. A greedy man will sell his soul to the devil for a grain of maize and will pretend life is fine ... not in the hereafter. Nincopoops!
It is a shame for an "Animal" like Stanley to claim origin from the North West, a province which since the emergence of the airs of multi-partism has been brandished an outcast amongst others, a province whose people are victimised in public and private places... Do we need to remind him of the CRTV bamenda transmiter that was carted away to a Francophone station {probably because the bamenda people have no value for good things too) or Do i need to remind a fool like "Africa" for the struggle the SDF Limbe Council authority engaged into to discontinue the construction of the oil pipeline from SONARA to Douala? And you call that national unity? Don't be ridiculous my friends! Stop derailing the nation from potential ventures, we do not deny you going to the other side of the Mungo to live your life is the pretentious stately peace of La republique du cameroun.
Mr. Africa says the forgotten fore-parents fought in their ignorance and goodwill to safeguard the unity of a nation but not with the expectations we live today. Terms and clauses of the union have been illegitimately violated and you really think that is what your fore-parents voted for? I suggest you go back to School, i can see you ran away from your education careers.
If your government and it's hopeless bunch of useless politicians believe that there is no problem, why are they trailing the provinces and international court rooms with the very SCNC they claim is illegal? Why do they stupify themselves in the phase of the world? The decree restraining the noble people pf West Cameroon from moving out on the 1st of october is proof of the marginalization program embarked on by the oppressors but they have failed because WE are poised to win and we will win in Christ.
Long Live the Union. West Cameroon is Free. He who does not like it, let him/her go and dump himself in the Atlantic.

H.E. Biya

In issues like this there would always be black legs. So Africa, your case is not unique. What one would have expected of you here an addition of E.M. Endeley`s name on Stanley`s list. I really think that omission was an oversight, and you didn`t need to take that as an excuse to refuse to acknowledge that Foncha, Muna and Jua are respected states men. You are entitled to your opinion on the hot topic under discussion, but for the sake of the decency of those commenting here and considering how important this issue is to our lives and those of future generations, please leave out the use of derogatory language. You come acros like one Mukete (it might as well be him)who saw an opportunity in this forum to make known to the world his animosity for people who have worked hard to better themselves abroad. In so doing he erroneously stepped on a very slippery ground by attacking one of the finest academics (Dr. A.A Agbormbai) Cameroon has ever produced. This attracted support for Agbormbai from a number of commentators. I was dying to add my voice amongst those commenting but had problems logging in. My advice is that you don`t fall into the same trap (if only you are not the same Mukete).

Focus on the debate at hand and leave insults and tribal/regional sentiments aside.

H.E.

Reader

What is actually this so-called SCNC and what are they advocating for?

felix

Greetings all participating on this forum.Once again people like ATS and Saints(I must guess is Mukete) are trying to use this forum to bully at Stanley or Africa. This is not the "Force of Argument." that SCNC is using to spread it ideology. And as H:E Biya said we should focus on the debate and leave tribal and Regionla sentiments aside.
But tribal and reginal sentiments are the cause of the split that govern the house of SCNC.And stake holders (SCNC Leaders)in the likes of Saints who said:"It is a shame for an "Animal" like Stanley to claim origin from the North West", are not helping the situation.Beside I have been observing the movement of SCNC but I haven't bought their logic behind secession partly because the price of it is very devastating and costy welther its peaceful or Violent and partly because of the division within Anglophones Cameroons.
One needs to learn from the Biafra war and many others around. After venture into such a dangerous venture of secession they turn back to Unity.
There is an approach I think the SCNC need adopt which I will term the Martin Lutter King jr Approach.By Peaceful demostration and demands that the Cameroon Authority Respect its obligation and treaty signed after the Referendum.I think this work out when our fathers asked for a gce board in yaounde with water Cannon on their backs.
Beside its true as Africa commented that the whole of Cameroon is in a mess. You will be awe to see how many Francophone Cameroonians (youth) are displeased with the Government, or take a look at the infastructure around Cameroon and tell me which province is better.Even Y'de the capital of Cameroon or Douala is a sore to the eyes.
Cameroonians and Africans especially those in this forum should asked his or herself what he have done to assist his country.I know they are countless reason to why they cann't do it.But what about those who are doing it in those reasons, are we different from them ?.

stanley

Thank God for you Felix, u happen to be the Felix i know. You present your facts in the most objective and ethicl manner, the way this very people who avocate the SCNC write and curse people with a different opinion, just shows how they will handle the so called southern Cameroons.,Detecting just like Biya is doing. This is a forum to dabate issues and ideas but the "lawyers" of SCNC have disgraced themselves by embaking on bullying at the others.
I agree with you in all respects Felix cameroon has a problem, which we need to all come togather and solve. This mismanagement of openions shared by the so called southern Cameroonians will not lead us to anywhere.
I bet you if they can invest this energy to educate the the Anglophones to be more hardworking,it will catalyse our developement process and reduce unemployment exponentially.Sincerely speaking the Anglophones are the more lazy group of the cultural knot we have in this country.
Whoever told you that the government most do it for you,you can be creative and creat jobs for yourself, and why not employ others. That is why we have allowed our infirioty complex to take us to the level where we thing division is the key.I bet you it wont work .I am proud of being a Cameroonian and we will not let you jopardise the wind of change which is about to sweep through this our fatherland.

JB Samba

Stanley:
Looking at your post I spot these errors which are definitely not typos.
Detecting is not equal to "Dictating"
Embaking is not equal to "Embarking"
Togather is not equal to "Together"
Openions is not equal to "Opinions"
Infirioty is not equal to "Inferiority"
I am proud of being a cameroonian is not equal to "I am proud to be a cameroonian."

Judging from these many non-typographical errors in so short a posting, one can just guess how narrow-minded you are to understand the various dimensions of the Anglophone problem. Even the Educated fons of the NW who even with Biya and his government striping them of their rights and respect will still support him and the CPDM, have acknowledged that there is an Anglophone problem, though they would rather do nothing about it.

I guess you guys of you cohort are not educated enough to comment on this issue. I would advice you play the role of an audience and learn from those who have something to offer.

felix

JB Samba I think you are clever enough to sport error and not to make one."I guess you guys of you cohort are not educated enough to comment on this issue".
guys of you cohort!! is "a nonsensical jumble of words".
"cohort" means group or band of people, as simple as Thesaurus Dictionary can tell.
The fact here is that you arrogantly inscribe these words with the highest degree of your intellect.
Remember He who thinks he knows too much and yet
know nothing is an impostor. There are not to many for you to deceive, not in this forum

felix

spot not sport i err my self

JB Samba

Hi Felix:
Thank you for spotting out that error. Mark you that there are two types of errors - real errors and typographical errors and you would bear with me that my error was a typographical one (probably a soft press on key 'r' making a 'you' to appear in place of a 'your'.

You will see for yourself that if you had examined the phrase properly you would have realized that it was a typographical error especially as you know the meaning of 'cohort' - DO YOU SEE THAT REPLACING 'you' WITH 'your' MAKES SENSE OR NOT?

So, you can now see that it wasn't "a nonsensical jumble of words." Rather it was some laxity on your part to decide not to read within the lines.

Mark you that people make typographical errors on this forum every now and then and it Stanley's errors caught my attention, it was because judging from his previous postings, it is clear that his' are not typographical errors (he simply doesn't know the right spellings of the words he uses)

If you must know, I don't think I was insinuating that I know too much, neither do I think I know too little. All I am putting forward is that Stanley (and probably you - if you could not discern that the error you pointed out was a typographical one) is not competent enough for this kind of argument

DON´T BUY AT ALLAN FEMI STORE INC

This man (Allan Femi) is a lier, cheater, thief, and a lot of bad things more.
He told me that i have to send to him the money for a product, the iriver ifp 799
and when i had sended the money to him by western union at the name of Jonathen Amafonye
he never sends to me the mp3 player as we had deal before.
we talk by e-mail and msn, we talk a lot of time,
he want the money fast, and when he hand my money in his hands he never
send me nothing. Im a buyer and i dont want to know about anyone who buy
his products again because the person who do that loose his money.
He told me that the store keeper makes an error and send to me more
units that i had told to him, and because of an error of his store keeper
i have to pay more, i have to pay the tax for more products and if i pay
for that he will send me something. He wants more money and then he never
will talk to me and never send me nothing, He only wants money.
This person really stink,

Nicolas

Scouts like Stanley,Felix and Africa may be enjoying theirdays amid the pillaging of (Former Southern Cameroons),Ambazonia. These are one of the lost boys who will not be happy even when freedom have be brought to their doors. They still refuse it.Stockholm Syndrom indeed.Rhetorics from these sellout scouts will not in any way hogtie the liberation of Ambazonia.Anything that will stand on the way of Freedom will be crushed, not excluding local quislings like reader, africa et al.Most of these rogues may even sons of those Camerounians who flee from french terror in Cameroun and were given sanctuary in Ambazonia. They have teste freedom and democracy and now have the cojones to condemn the de-annexation of Ambazonia from the colonial clutches of Cameroun voodoo regime.Goofy calves!
