Dear PostNewsLine readers,
This is our last issue for the year 2005. We are taking a breather, only a breather, just so we can better plan your news menu for the coming year, 2006. We will return with a brand new issue on Friday January 6, 2006.
However, just like we did last year, the online edition of The Post may be updated, exceptionally, with breaking news stories, if the occasion warrants it, or with special and investigative reports from our files, such as last year’s special report on corruption at the Douala sea port.
We also seize this opportunity to thank all those readers who made donations to PostNewsline. Every penny helped to keep this site alive. We hope that you will be even more generous next year.
Until then, do have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2006!!!
My Dear Learned people of The Post Newspaper:
Thanks a lot for the good job you guys have been doing. You deserve to take a break and of course enjoy the season with you respective families. I wish you and your families a Merry Xmas and a happy New Year.
We will be together when you resume on January 06, 2006.

I wish to take this opportunity to wish everyone (readers, commentators, journalists, Cameroonians, Africans, African leaders, and the international community) a merry christmas and a happy new year.
Thanks for your contributions, and I hope you continue in the same spirit next year. There has been a lot of good work achieved this year and if we continue in this same spirit it won't be long before our country and continent stands on its feet.

I want to thank the management of the post news paper for all the good works. There is no doubt that you guys have doing a very manificent job to inform the public within and without the bounds of legality. It is just worthwhile that a worker deserves rest so as to rcollect and make ammends. I wish you guys a wanderful holiday, and may the joy of the baby jesus filled your hearts and that of your families with great joy.

Yes, Folks,
You deserve a rest! Your work continues to water the thirsty soil of those of us Diasporans that cannot drink directly from the "source", Cameroon. You continue to keep us informed and the more the ink in your blood flows, the more we understand the goings on in the Fatherland. You are certainly worthy foot soldiers in the ongoing fight to make Cameroon a better nation in the concert of Nations. As you take your rest, remember that your readers are looking forward to a year of greater opportunities to be informed and educated about the living conditions in Cameroon.

A hearty THANK YOU to THE POST. I doff my heart to your team for a job well done. At times, emotions ran high and some of us blindly took it out on some members of your great team. Please forgive us and let's conclude 2005 on a high note. Cheers to all brothers and sisters who kept this forum alive, eventhough we might have disagreed, yet you truly made my day.
I wish you all a merry Xmas and a great 2006!

A marvellous job and a triumph to the concept of “freedom of expression”. What a wonderful informant you’ve been! The best site on the web. Your reporting has been exemplinary, without bias or favours. You embodied the spirit of objectivity and I hope you get a well deserved rest and recuperate for the task ahead.
To most of the forumite, it was interesting reading the swell of opinion shared on this forum and I hope we use the same energy to put forward suggestions that will help overcome our shortcomings resulting in us contributing to the building of a better Cameroon.
I wish all of you and every Cameroonian within and without our motherland a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. May we look forward to the future with hope and expectation rather than with dispel.
Peace!!!!!

may The hands of the Almighty God rest upon you and family. You have made us learn so much and even made the oppressors listen to our grievances in an indirect way. That was a job well done. Like richardo, i support the fundraising program for this organization.

Like the others, also extend sincere thanks to management of the Postnewsline and its many contributors. In fact through the forum, i have learnt a lot of things especially about the history of cameroon. Anxiously waiting for more issues.
