This is a pity. This man may have been hit by a car and the driver took advantage of the absence of human beings around to escape. My biggest question now is,how is the investigation to be done? In Cameroon, there are no cameras on the streets to check the speed of cars and those who commit highway offences. How is the police going to identify a car that left Buea at 3 AM?
These type of crimes will never be dictated in Cameroon because all the traffic police do is to harrass drivers and ask for 500frs. In other places in the world, you will not dream of hitting someone and taking off, not in the middle of a town. These traffic cameras are very cheap and it is a disgrace that the government can't afford them. Another issue is the marketing of driving licenses to anyone who can afford 20,000 Frs. So, anyone can drive in Cameroon and incidents like this can always repeat themselves. No one checks drunken drivers - they are left to create havoc on peoples' lives. What a pity!!!We are still centuries away from other civilizations. Something needs to be done, and soon.

My condulence to te family, take courage brothers. The culprit is answerable to our lord,do not for get that God saw you.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

My condolence to the bereaved family,
but my badluck to the driver who is the main source of pain and grief to this poor family housewhole. It is a sad note that the deceased left the house in good health as the daughter testifies but was not lucky to arrive his home safely.

Hope those 911-turned-419 police officers in Cameroon can come out with something concrete this time.Rather than standing by the road side and pick-pocketing 500frs from poor township and high drivers.

Rest in Perfect Peace(RIPP) Mr Chita but woe bethide the unidentified driver who left into thin air.Only God knows him but his conscience will judge him.

This was a nice old man and i wonder who did this to such a person and for what reasons? i was a student of BHS and all the cooks were nice people . is a shame we lost him this way

May his soul rest in perfect peace. The question that worries me most is why his shoes and pants wear taken off.Was this the handiwork of men of the underworld or just some joker?. This world my brother.
