Fru Ndi, SDF Parliamentarians,NEC and SDF Mayors should mobilise SDF militants to protest for the release of the Detainees. There should be civil unrest utill the detainees are released.

I lack words to describe my feelings when I read that the judiciary keeps waiting for instructions from the Presidency before they can act.

Of course,Ben Muna is right to make a mockery of the legal department of the SDF that has taken him to court for violating government laws. The case will simply be thrown out because it is a challenge to the government and indeen the court will tell the SDF that they have no case since it is not their responsibility to take Ben Muna to court in this matter. This is a total waste of time by the SDF; since they know that Ben Muna is sponsored by the government.

There was Mombutu in Zaire,Abacha in Nageria,Samuel Doh in Liberia and others that you know better than me,and they all left the stage the ugly way that we all know; Paul Biya´s case will be worst. I keep praying for God´s divine intervention.

mukete

The Gendarmes making the suggestions that fru Ndi should meet Biya for the release of Ngafor and co. are so blind to reality. They are so entrenched in bribe taking that they have lost sight of justice. If they find that there are no charges to be pressed against these detainees, they should go ahead and release them.
by insinuating that Fru Ndi should go and negotiate with Biya is like trapping fru Ndi to get entangled in their web of corruption. Further they expect fru ndi to go and bribe Biya by mortgaging the future of desperate masses and opening a floodgate for his eventual destruction. Fru Ndi is too big for that.
justice is not negociated. It is obtained by due process. If these bribe taking khaki boys continue to detain people who were arrested at 8pm when the alleged perpetrators of the offence for which they are detained acted and disappeared before dawn shows just how incompetent our investigation services' modus operandi is warped.
Muna, the master planner of the illegality that resulted to this unfortunate incidence and his supporters are moving about freely. this is clear indication that Muna and his released supporters were acting in collusion with the government. otherwise, how could people arrested for allegely commiting the same offence be released simply because they declared that they were sympathising with someone who failed in his attempt to split a legalised political party that a vast majority of destitute Cameroonians are looking up to for redemption from the fangs of an evil RDPC regime manned by a tribal cabal.
fru Ndi has nothing to negotiate with Biya.

SOURCES!

The sources should also say Diboule was not killed. Or that he was KILLED but didn't DIE. That Muna and Ngwasiri faked his death and are hiding him somewhere, alive, just to implicate Ni John and Mbah Ndam. Sources! That a car would knock down a man and burst out his eyes? What folly!

Justice will be done and it won't end with the vanguards and hired death squads. It will rope in everyone to the top including those whose cars were spotted dropping off and coordinating the plot. Those involved know the truth. We see them go around fear-stricken. They have since become very humble. Many of them are still free but their names are in. Never mind "sources" saying the gendarmerie lacks evidence.

Just watch out soon. They may prop up "sources" to say whatever to show a strategic calm to the public. A fact stands. Chi Ngafor and his death squad were given an assassination assignment by Ni John. They planned for the act in Bamenda (Ntarikon) and Yaounde (Philip Che's Essos residence). It was coordinated by Mbah Ndam's staff using his car. Ask Atangha. He was in Yaounde. That's why he couldn't fulfill Vally's invitation to Khati-khati at Polytech.

The Diboule assassination was planned to serve as a deterrent to scare militants and organisers of the Yaounde convention. Little did they know they were dealing with hard-to-the-core SDF militants. Kanpkwe!

OK Ni John, go see ya fren Biya noh, so you two can decide to release your implicated death squad. And also plan how to get Muna out of the way, after all he will soon be jailed for disregarding an administrative ban on his two-hour open-air meeting in the name of a convention. Craze pipo.

Colonel chi ngafor should be punished with all those who killed Doboule removing his eye.If they want to go on hunger strike let them do, if they die we shall bury them.

The story from the reporter seems to rely more on hearsay nothing is concrete.

WELL BEHAVED DETAINEES, MY HEAD!

Dem eye don clear. Dem don humble. Now dem di behave well. Dem di clear grass for Gendarmerie compound. Foolish pipo!

It is clear to see. As usual they were drugged to go for the kill. And this is what Fru Ndi-Mbah Ndam thugs always do. They tried to disrupt Asonganyi's famous Yaounde press conference using drugged hired thugs who knew nothing about the SDF.

They were openly led by Kwemo's private secretary Kennedy and stealthily coordinated by Mbah Ndam's private secretary George. But Asonganyi, the thick-skinned chop-fire hardcore SDF man stood his grounds.

And on that May 26 Atangha was in Yaounde, not Bamenda where his faction's convention was holding because they had a mission to kill in Yaounde. When the deed had been done and hell broke loose they, ringleaders, went underground leaving their mbutukus to be rounded up.

That's why Atangha couldn't fulfill Vally's khati-khati rendezvous at Polytech. He was in hiding in Yaounde.

Their death squad was drugged. They've always done so. That's why you have donkeys there that apparently are neither Fru Ndi-Mbah Ndam faction nor Ngwasiri-Muna faction SDF vanguards. Ask Mbah Ndam and his secretariat staff. They know where they hired those baggers from.

The death squad was drugged to do nothing but kill, that's why now wey dem eye don clear, dem don humble. Wona eye go clear pass so. Wona be take contract for kill, tam don reach for take pay. Moomoo ngumbe!

The price for killing a comrade simply because he dissented, and not stopping there, going further to desecrate even his dead body by plucking off his eyes, is savagery of a dimension that cannot be atoned by mere being well behaved prisoners. They have not cleared grass; they will eat it with their mouths.

So you think they should be released now because they are well behaved? Justice is not a school where wayward schoolboys can atone for their waywardness by posing to have repented after the headmaster has ringed them in. People have to pay for their offence.

If this nonsense is not stopped, a few greedy people who want to secure the gains of their COMMERCIAL ACTIVISM will take us all hostage in the name of defending democracy. No open-minded person on this forum would condone that. Raise your finger if you do and be counted.

We all are fighters and defenders of democracy. And this shouldn't be mistaken for the SCNC civil rights/human rights struggle. This is a criminal matter.

Of course, justice should not be delayed, so it is not seen to have been denied, nor should those savages be given the honour of feeling that they are being persecuted.

They are not prisoners of conscience. They are held in relation to a crime. They have to be given a fair trial the soonest possible, their crime established and they be punished accordingly, so that Diboule too can rest in peace. This is social justice that the SDF stands for.

Maybe this story will please those who are happy with just anything in the name of SDF as long as Ben Muna is laughingly mentioned as chairman.

North West Governor, Koumpa Issa has reassured the opposition, S.D.F militants that the wheel of democracy is irreversible in Cameroon because while the opposition is involved in the race the government is committed in the process to take democracy forward. Koumpa Issa was speaking to placard-carrying S.D.F District chairmen in the North West who trekked to the Up Station office of the governor yesterday to protest against what they referred to as attempts by MINATD to "frustrate or deprive Cameroonians of an independent electoral commission." Provincial chairman, Tabali Bernard led the protesters who peacefully sang democracy songs with placards requesting "free and fair election laws because Cameroon is not C.P.D.M property".

Other placards read " Mr. Biya don't change your mind about the independent body", "free Cameroon from the chains of electoral fraud," Tabali Bernard handed a memo to the governor in which he decried "bad faith by MINATD in building fences against the progress of democracy". The memo denounces what it calls "a bill tabled in the National Assembly to stifle the birth of an independent electoral commission".

Governor Koumpa however hailed the peaceful nature of the protest and said that though he was not mandated to speak about the electoral commission the memo will be transmitted to appropriate quarters. He reminded them to respect State institutions and the rule of law. The militants later retired after appreciating the down to earth approach of the governor who received them in the courtyard of the his office.

BIYA, THE FIVE STAR DICTATOR

Biya the "five star" dictator; personal corruption, pompous self-serving rhetoric, viscous police-state tactics, cronyism that benefits his own family and tribe...

Bribery has taken turns of names in Cameroon, sometimes concurrently ; `backdoor`, `oiling of palms`, ‘beer’,and `soya` recently getting more famous than `choco`. It exists at all levels, from police officers at the roadside to politicians.Slogans like Achidi Achu`s; "You scratch my back, I scratch your back" as well as unwarranted salarial benefits to the military are all the appurtenances of state corruption.Trading peoples votes for buckets of rice, beer and beef and buying loyalty from the military that should be legally and morally binding and entrusted.
Biya`s junta engages in two major forms of repression; the selective persecution of political opponents and the `social cleansing` of powerless people. The activities of the Operational Command could be more likened to`social cleansing`.Though since disbanded,it was implicated in many deaths, including the murder of nine young men,of Bepanda,Douala, accused of stealing a gas canister in January 2001. Later same year,a mass grave was discovered containing at least 36 bodies. Local groups reported the extrajudicial killing of morethan 300 in the Extreme North Province between 1998 and 1999.
Biya kept lucrative oil revenues off the government budget for years, making them difficult to trace.
Cameroon being also the largest exporter in Africa of raw tropical timber, with the most shady accountability.
Infrastructure from roads, hospitals, schools and other public structures is nothing but an insult to any Cameroonians dream.

What is happening within the SDF, is just part of the persecution inflicted on political rivals and groupings.
Neither Ni John nor Ben Muna is responsible for the acts highlighted here and there and none of them stands any chance of bailing us out.
The court cases here and there and the things fellow Cameroonians write gets me desperately sad. It seems like we don`t seem to recognize our enemy and if we do, we are confused as to how to go about him. We have a set up of things that makes it impossible for the SDF to thrive in Cameroon(the French connection and the power clique) and even talking about the presidency is a far fetched dream for any opposition party. In fact the SDF road to power hard become too muddy and recently covered by wild bush, and presently impassable.I do not even bother to know if certain people have been bought or all of them have been bought. What I see is that bought or not,the set up makes whatever good mission a futile one.The MP`s are there to eat and kill time, they say they are struggling but they are overpowered by the unprincipled majority.
I am compelled for the meantime to carry this state of affairs to a different threshold. The clerics, Men of God,Pastors(fake or real),fervently religious and spiritual, should pray for the death of Biya to get our country liberated like Nigeria after Abacha.
I am not that evil minded to wish somebody`s death, but what about the uncountable number of people suffering and dying, caused directly or indirectly by the Biya junta.
Let us pray and fast for Biya`s. death That is my way forward. It is not for Fru or Muna to win at court. For truly, there is nothing we can expect from this Bamenda politicians.
Please pray, do not waste your time any longer at rallies and press conferences. The energy for claps and `papa ellay` songs can be reversed to prayers for the sudden death of Biya. Then we would have a better mastery of our contry`s life and destiny.

HERE IS THE NEWS READ in PIDGIN BY...
Ter..Terib..TeribobsFBben!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Headlines of the flipflopping of the
century:

-Wona Hear! i don`t bad! Mbah Ndams car seen
at the site of the crime, according to Mutation newspaper!
Ladies and gentlemen, you know as i do that i can hadly complete a sentence in English,so how would you have expected me not to be the only Cameroonian to read what was written in French about the Honorable gentleman i`m so jealous of.Have you not been witnesses to the marvellous work i have been doing here to inform you? Have i not been legally uplifting material from icicemac.com in French i better understand than my pidgin and posting it here? I have been doing everything to tarnish the reputation of this man called Mbah Ndam who
did little to bring about Mounchipou Seidou`s fate, who did little to give Fon Doh the status of a white college student,
who did little to table a bill on female circumcision in 2003,who does little to see to it that an independent electoral body is
given to Cameroonians. It is not a crime to be the little jealous one who find faults with everybody.
- Weti Fru Ndi di wait for go storm that bush man i convention for Yaounde!
Ladies and gentlemen, you know a rustic is not different from a terrorist. When i pour those raw and primitive ideas here,i must be applauded because we are taught in our institute of Reconciliation that when intellectuals hold a meeting ,the less polished like me should storm the venue.I don`t mean that what am saying is a foretaste of what my master Muna is going to put into play in Yaounde in a few days time when he will storm your Secretariat and free it from Djiboule the thug.
-Doomsday di come Papa God,wusai Cardinal Tumi dey!
Fellow friends did i not preach storming here ,and did my master not compoct himself like a terrorist by showing how he can spit on the institutions of the land he dreams to serve,by hiring thugs at Mokolo just as his guru Ngwasiri did when he took them on a sabatical to Douala to enjoy deliberations about the National conference? Why should i not preach peace with a bible in one hand and a gun in the other? Did they not tell you that if you want to pass for an apostle of peace ,keep making a song about the man of God`s name?
Why are you people so blind when somebody is damn serious about reconciliation?
-Fru Ndi don`t go night night for beg for reconciliation! Tif pipo, them don`t see weti!
My dear Cameroonians i told you that this fellows are really blind. They went to the extent of inviting the same Cardinal i was yearning for to their convention! But you must not be as happy as i am,that this man of God kicked against them.I am not saying that the cardinal should attain conventions only when things are smooth, but
just that he has abandoned this legal SDf and is fully behind the person who is going to launch the first opposition party in Yaounde. You all know i like words like storming,so when i see my enemy being received by a Fon or Nchinda and peace and reconciliation being talked about i become inconsolable and have to go on the offensive.

TO END THE NEWS,A PROLONGATION OF FLIPFLOPPING.
Craze pipo, kanpkwe! Wanna lif that man i pikin dem na!
I have often told you here that the Munas are special children and that you people should stop being jealous of them. They have a special prison left behind by their father, they live in a special village with only one tarred patch of road leading to their father`s home, they come from a village which is the first among all the villages in the Northwest,Ben Muna`s special constituency is in either Yaounde 2 or 3,i don`t know exactly, his special thugs are all from Mfoundi. He`s a special man who could go around freely and hold meetings with Owona while Fru Ndi was under house arrest. He`s a special man whose thugs were released immediately while the down-trodden
of the earth are still being held. He`s a special man who resigns from the SDF,comes back and is taken in,refuses to respect the laws of the party, the laws of the land and subsequently brings about the death of a Cameroonian.
This is the end of vacillitating for today.
Tif pipo, wuna don see weti,i ku cam back!

Fon,
You forgot mentioning also that, Fru Ndi too is part of these band wagon of crooks.Isn't he?

He too has stayed there for 16years and is refusing to leave, well he now has his bamenda faction , so he should contend with that, since that is what he wanted.

You stand in this forum to talk about mobilising militants for a civil unrest.
The ghost town that Fru Ndi called and asked for boycot of French goods, an act that today caused thousand of cameroonians their hard earned life savings, businesses and even death, then he turned around today to be a business partner to that same group he once demonized, you and many alike in these forum want to tell 17 million Cameroonains that, there is nothing to worry about.

Why do you want to sound so desperate as if the so called 'truth" you are trying to say is not known by many alike. Sit back in your closet and reflect, could all these bruhaha in the first place be avoided. Your God given conscience will tell you the RIGHT answer and even will tell you and show you the cause of these problems we now have.

Which civil unrest are you talking about? for which cause and for whose sake? Who are the militants you talk about?

You can decieve some people sometime but can't decieve all the people all the time.

We Cameroonians are getting to know how to separate distinctively the goats from the sheep. Is about time already.

Mbu. B.
I don't recall whether it was you or someone else awarding points for spelling; but I like to award something for your piece above, or is it below? It is the best diagnosis of the problems plaguing Cameroon. All the insults we trade on this forum are not necessary because, as we are busy insulting one another, the real culprit and his band of 40+ thieves continue the looting and the opaque management we know, which consists in divide and rule, pull the wool over people's eyes, and many other tactics of the sort. Just the other day I was thinking of my small savings in the Post Office bank and wondering whether I would ever get them out at the rate of 10000 francs a week or so. At the same time I look at the European cities and infrastructure in the western countries; and I said to myself, these cities and infrastructure are built with the small savings of people like me. How does this happen? The gang of treasury and bank looters who operate in Cameroon in white or blue collar (make your pick) save stolen money in these countries in numbered accounts, with the account owner known to the bank alone. I suspect that these banks use the money for the development of their countries whenever they like because the thief/customer cannot go anywhere to complain. Then if the bank knows that some of them have died, they just go all out and use the money because nobody will ever ask. Someone once talked about the policy of the rat mole. It stocks up for a rainy day, but it forgets where it has stocked up. So the kolanuts, coffee, groundnuts and many other things it stores away are wasted. That is how our economy is drained. The thieving class store up more than they will ever need in ten life times. When they die nobody knows how much or where they have hoarded abroad, and it all goes to develop western cities.
For your diagnosis below, I award you the distinction of "surgeon extraordinaire."

Atangha

BenF,
You're becoming more than Mukete! Is that how you guys are going implant your will-be political party? Yesterday, you were accusing Chairman FRU NDI, Hons. MBAH NDAM & YOYO, Watesih, Fon, Langai, Klemenceau, etc. for the death of DIBOULE. Today, it's Atangha. Who'll be the next? I fear for you guys because history may pardon Pa Muna (he did apologised during AAC 1), but not you & your paymaster, Ni Ben. Pa Muna may have tarred the entrance to his home but you guys will retired & live inbetween Y'de 2 & 3. If your wish is that all SDF militants should be arrested so that you guys can continue misleading the public, then you're dreaming! Col. NGAFOR et al are there today; as soon as they're out, you guys will replace them there.

The SDF is a non-violent party; our Vanguards have all along shown exemplary conduct since 1990. They went there to protect our secretariat from predators. Maybe you don't know, we will NEVER allow our property, name and logo to be trampled upon by whosoever. Your DIBOULE was found dead at the road side opposite Mess des Officiers. If up till today, this dictatorship hasn't got a clue on those who murder DIBOULE, then I won't be wrong to say, they are part & parcel of the murder?

I know you're trying to use DIBOULE's death to blackmail, but it won't work & Ni Ben will never be chairperson of the SDF. Didn't one of you said, it easier to form a political party? Why waste precious energy hoping that the Mfoundi courts will hand the SDF to guys on a platter of gold?

We love Cameroon & we'll want to maintain this precarious peace. If this regime wants to tamper with the SDF..........I don't want to be a doomsday wisher.

Cheers & let's keep preparing for 2007 & stop being distracted by people whose constituency is the internet and pages of newspapers.

 J M Mbandi

I will like to address myself to you Atangha:

Gone are those days when people foolishly sacrificed their lives for the SDF. Time is a wonderful Judge and the SDF Verdict has been passed. For 16 years we have toiled in vain for the political advancement of Cameroon. If you people want to fight, first call all the children if Fru Ndi and his cohorts in Europe and America to come and lead us. Afterall, have they not studied big book and know how to deal with bad a government like ours.
Who born dog! I challenge Fru Ndi to call for Militants to storm the place where Chi Ngafor, Che Philip and others are being detained. Lets see how many people will fight again for him and his family. This is 2006 for God's sake not 1991. Many have learnt their lessons , except you. Democracy is meaningful debate not disguised violence and dictatorship. Show me the difference between Fru Ndi and Paul Biya.
Is the SDF the first party to have internal wranglings leading to separation? Why must everything SDF lead to loss of Life. Where is your power of dialogue and mutual understanding? Where is the change SDF run Councils or areas with SDF parliamentarians.
Suffering, poverty and disease is everywhere.
You can see desperation in the eyes of Camerooninas.
I am just fed up with you guys talking of fighting. We demonstrated on the street. We destroyed our livelihood and businesses during Operation Ghost Town. We boycotted French Goods as were told by Fru Ndi and the SDF Leadership. Was Fru Ndi not the first to turn round and Rent Out his property to the Same People (French) we so much hated.
Do you think you can still deceive ordinary hardworking Cameroonins? The last time Fru Ndi's picture was posted here, did you bother to see how old and gaunt he has become.
There is even more hardship today in Cameroon than in the 90's. We need to effectively oppose and chase out the CPDM government. But I donot believe the SDF has th guts to do it.
Keep dreaming in day light.419 Politicians.

Please let's decide which way to follow for our future transformation and safeguarding our livelyhood for our families, relatives, friends and Cameroon as a whole.SDF is not the party to lead us to victory any more.I don't see any hope in SDF taking over the presidency.Crossing the carpet will be the only alternative. Why do you guys bit about the bush when FRU Ndi can't be accountable for his numerous errors and blunders yet he is advices to go and beg Biya for the release of a retired Colonel for the death of a human being.

This is where you want to see Biya's shoulders up.I think presently only the judiciary can safe the Colonel and 21 culprits convicted for this murder and manslaughter of an innocent soul.Testimonies and allegations implicated Fru Ndi in this matter and so if legal means are to be followed then Fru Ndi is supposed to be in the lock up also with his band of murderers.

SDF and it's leadership has failed and shown no remarkable progress in its human rights records and other intrigues in the past years.Civil insubordination and political quakes within the party has been criticised both within and without the party ranks therefore making the militants to loose faith in the leaders and rank-and-file votes.

It's a shame to the status-quo of the party....Where do we begin then? From the outnumbered unscrutinised court cases amongst members and unsettled disputes, confrontations and party wranglings plaguing the party, what consequences do we expect to come out from this uproar than failures and betrayal of its followers.Let's be objective please....

Obituary:
N;B:The SDF Party is through its chairman(SDF-Fru Ndi),is hereby pleased to announce to the general public the celebration of it's funeral ceremony and burial and other funeral arrangements will be announced later.Followers and well-wishers are hereby informed to be aware and get ready to buy "ashuabis" for this grandious convention to take place in Ntarikon palace.Other agendas will be disclosed at the convention...

As days pass, the quality of The Post's journalism work goes down the drain. the most part of this article is "i hearsay...". One would expect journalits to talk to administrative/penintentiary/legal authorities. rather, the post is telling us what according to the detainees or other unnamed people, the administration is doing. the author had better keep this information for himself, and be a journalist. I believe that if there is actually minimal evidence to implicate these people, the Post do its job. cite what authority has given them such info. this way Cameroonians would be apprised of what is going on, which could lead to pressure from the population and or international bodies, that could in turn cause the government not desist from depriving these Cameroonians from their liberty.

Biya's demise is NOT the end of the numerous problems you mentioned. You couldn't convince pastors and other men of God enough, to pray hard. Do your homework well and the next second you'll get the Etoudi dictator expiring in the arms of death. Let me just inform you that it is the man who replaces Biya that matters and not his death. Now we know that when Biya dies the House Of Assembly's speaker becomes president. Who's he? - a member of that devilish political party... a member of their njangi group. Thank you for the objective grading.

Our legal department has again proven not to be independent of the executive. Is it the legal department of SDF to sue Ben Muna and the rest of the Ngwasiri camp for not respecting the SDO decision banning their meeting/convention? I think it is the state and hence the legal department to do that. There seem not to be any order in our system.

Fon

Fritzane Kiki,
Your hatred for Fru Ndi has rendered your brain numbed. In fact, you have ceased to reason. So according to you, every wrong step someone takes today should be justified by the fact that Fru Ndi is a dictator or that people are dimissed from the party? According to you cpdm is the best party because it doesnot dismiss militants?
Have you ever tried to reflect and ask your numbed brain why those who cry foul in the SDF,when they moved to the CPDM,nobody hears them complaining again? You think they don´t complain because the leadership of the cpdm is perfect and democratic? I am startled with your reasoning.

Atangha

THE WISEST MAN IS GENERALLY HE WHO THINKS HIMSELF THE LEAST SO.

J M Mbandi,
You're welcome on board! This is the first time I am reading from you. I don't know whether you've been reading my postings or not. In one of my postings, I said the worst SDF managed Council is better than a CPDM best managed Council. And again, I did say it's thanks to the SDF MPs that we know of the yearly 8 millions FCFA for micro-projects. I want to remind you that this money was being given to MPs since 1958. If the SDF was not in the National Assembly, we won't have known this, though the "moderate opposition" has been there since 1992.

I don't think Chairmain FRU NDI launched the SDF because of his children. He did it for the well-being of all & sundary. The STRUGGLE FOR CHANGE is and has been for the betterment of Cameroonians and not some people's children. The Founding Fathers of the United States of America did same for ALL the American people & NOT for their children. Besides, how many of George Washington, Andrew Jackson, etc., children & great grand-children have had the opportunity to enjoy what their parents fought for? A good father brings up his children the way his wants - you too won't be different sending your children to study in schools of your choice? We will be doing ourselves some good if we centre our write-ups on issues rather than personalities.

Brother J M Mbandi, don't join the bandwagon of threadbare analyses being led here, by BenF & Mukete. What a patriotic Cameroonian like you should do is propose ideas which move the SDF forward. The struggle to forward Cameroon forward shouldn't be personalised. If tomorrow Chairman FRU NDI is not there, you can be the one to lead; I won't start complaning that your kids are studying abroad; you're renting houses to foreigners, etc. or I and my kids won't be part of the struggle. Also, remember that Sowetans fought (harder) against APARTHEID but today everyone is enjoying this freedom including Cameroonians in South Africa. The struggle to free Cameroon from French neo-colonialism should be fought with all our might. Some will die as usual, but at the end of the day, Cameroon will be a better place for our children & children's children.

Mr. MBANDI, DIBOULE was NEVER killed by the SDF. It is true that there was confrontation at the secretariat, but he was found lying dead in fornt of Mess des Officiers. Up till today, this dictatorship can't prove that the SDF killed him. Holding our militants in detention is just a way of trying to blackmail our leadership. We want this matter to be taken to court so that our opponents should come testify against us.

This is the most propitious moment to free Cameroon from 46 years of neo-colonialism. This dictatorship has agreed "in principle" with the Commonwealth to create an Independent Electoral Commission or IEC, between NOW and the END OF THIS YEAR 2006. IEC will have to conduct ALL ELECTIONS beginning from next year. It's not yet time to start celebrating! We should ENSURE & ENFORCE that this "agreement" is respect to the letter.

Cheers & let's keep preparing for 2007!

Guys we shouldn't confused when writing for others to read. This forum act as a means to educate some of our friends who want to know the reality of our socíety but we careless of saying the truth taking the forum as a joke.
Whether the SDF chairman is to be adviced or not to confront biya for a meeting to plead on the behave of his detainees, the common truth is that this two figurs will never meet. The growing faction in the SDF is been caused by the cpdm and no amount negociations will rulled this matter out. hope we should instead advice our SDF chairman to see how he can fight to bring this rival factions together and work for interest of the country. well we just keep our fingers crossed and see were this beautiful country is heading to. biya dont have any right to say faul to the COL. for deciding to join the opposition because this same biya that ploted a coupto oustated Ahidjo so he shouldn't be afraid.

Dr. AA Agbormbai

BLOWS DO NOT HURT THE CPDM.
At one time party looked sick, but all was simply a figment.

At a quick glance, a fortuitous watcher could quickly jump into conclusions that the ruling Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement's house was in turmoil. In the past five years, the party has had its own share of the bickerings most political parties have witnessed. But unlike the others which seemed very severely imperilled, the CPDM has remained quite a formidable force.

This confirms tradition and practice within the party. The party leadership has a style of its own: it has almost always given liberty to dissenting voices. But, hardly has the hierarchy ever stepped into the ring to be part of any wrangling. The situation in the CPDM can be likened to the history of the Christian church which has, along the line, experienced schisms of all types; but Mother church, in spite of all the hundreds of splinters which enjoy varying fortunes, has remained a strong and vibrant force, defending legitimacy and advocacy and feeling quite unperturbed by these numerous insurrectionary designs.

Yesterday, it was the Jean Jacques Ekindis, later, the Didier Nzongangs and lately the Chief Mila Assoutes et al. There have been books too. So have there been ideological currents. At some moments, the movements led by these personalities from within the party, left the impression that the CPDM was heading for the rocks. But these storms, strong as they were at that time, seemed to invariably end in a tea cup. Their perpetrators have since gone to sleep just as a burnt child will dread the fire.

Why this stable health

This unwritten policy of containing political dissent from within has paid off, leaving the CPDM as the strongest political force on the national political landscape. On the morrow of the introduction of multiparty politics, few people could bet a franc on the CPDM as it was generally expected that its structure was going to disintegrate as a pile of dominos. But the reverse has happened.

Lately, a new crop of political refugees from other political parties is arriving in large numbers to the extent that leaders of the party at the lower rungs of the hierarchy are rather itchy about containing some of these newcomers given the political clout they are bringing along with them.

Some are obviously clapperdudgeons. But the majority are political realists who find the new tide of the CPDM machine too overwhelming and strong to stand in its way, except they opt for outright political suicide.

In this atmosphere, newspaper headlines such as: "X Militants Decamp to CPDM" or "CPDM Mobilises to Regain Lost Ground" or "CPDM fêtes Big Catch" are no longer any cause for excitement. They smell of déjà-vu.

Quite artfully, the party has not hesitated in reading the signs of the times. It has joined the movement to stem corruption and has even gone to the extent of political cannibalism by sacrificing some of its finest members. Ordinary citizens are quite satisfied with the party's decision to start the cleansing exercise within its own house, a move generally interpreted as expressing an unrelenting political will to weed corruption out of our mores.

That too has worked in favour of the CPDM where some of its most acerbic critics found in the opposition yesterday think the party is today good enough to be able to do business with. At the beginning, some ripples ran through membership ranks, especially those who had erroneously believed that the CPDM couch around them shielded them from any accountability for wrongdoing.

Legalistic

A strong point in the CPDM is the punctilious character of its governing texts. Statutorily, a congress should be in the works, a further explanation for the serenity that reigns in the party. Old reliables, sitting firmly in leadership positions for a long time, feel threatened by young Turks who believe their own moment is around. Many are eyeing positions in the party's leadership. It is no time for negative notice. This probably explains why discipline is the watchword now. Who would not like to be noticed for hardwork which could eventually be rewarded with a position in the party's Central Committee or even the prestigious Political Bureau, the veritable sanctum sanctorum of the party's hierarchy?

The political stone-throwing in the CPDM glass house noticed lately has not really affected the party in a manner as to reverse its course as an unstoppable force of mobilisation. The CPDM devil is not as black it has been painted afterall. Its force and good health, rather, bring in some new questions on the modus operandi of Cameroon's democracy. If the other parties do not quickly put order in their houses, Cameroon could sooner, rather than later, find itself in a de facto one-party dispensation. Who will stand accused at that moment?

At times I think Cameroonians are not serious. Is this not the same Dr AA who was praising the ''authentic'' SDF and even opted to take up a position in Ni Ben's shadow cabinet? All of a sudden, the CPDM is a new-found panacea!Terrible.A few of us had said it on this forum before that those behind Muna and Muna himself will sooner or later reveal their real intentions. It is slowly coming.
But what is weird about it all is the deception involved in this old day 'CPDM our party ' sing-song.Dr AA attempts to give the impression that the CPDM is governed by texts. This is simply not true. For 21 years of existence the party has barely had 3 congresses. The last being held as far back as 1996.The party's militants have no say whatsoever who their presidential candidate would be.There are no primaries to determine such. The president appoints the Political bureau and due to laziness on his part he has not been able to chair its meetings even. The national president of the CPDM is so lazy that there is little or no contact to the base of the party. Compared to the SDF, Biya has held less than 50 rallies as leader of the CPDM since 1985 whereas Chairman Ni John Fru Ndi has addressed more than 6000 rallies and has toured the country 13 times since 1990.All of this with little or no finacial support. That is why even with the administration on its side, the CPDM recognises the SDF as the only real grassroot party in Cameroon. The SDF's NEC meets at least 10 times a year whereas the CPDM's political bureau is so moribund that even its members are not sure when they last talked to their leader.Even when they meet, it is to draft a motion of support to the almighty President for tarring this or that road or for giving water to this or that community. No proposals to take Cameroon forward. Instead, they keep on confusing the state treasury for the bank account of their party otherwise how would one explain the fact that a Cameroonian falls sick and is evacuated by the state and the CPDM rejoices its largesse.Short and simple, the CPDM is inherently void of any political tone. Its ideology is vague and its militancy is amassed by fellows fiercely seeking for personal aggrandizement.
My stomach churns when I realise how folly some who call themselves intellectuals are.

Fritzane Kiki Hong Kong

Fon,
I have little or no time to exchange utterances and no amount of accusations nor counter-accusations you levy on me as 'hating' NJFN will change my stance on his lack of leadership skills which has been the main soucre of the pain the SDF is going through. No one can be proud of being more SDF than I do.But I am not the type of bootlickers who stoop too low and are giving us the impression that they are blind to the see for themselves what Fru Ndi's mismanagement of conflict, has caused the party today.

Polls within the SDF militancy proofs no one is at ease with the manner in which NJFN is luckwormly handling this SDF saga.Majority of the people think there is no remarkable progress in solving it than more court cases, which go a far way in worsening than resolving it.

Strategically, there is still an enoumous task left for NJFN to be done to tackle this political wranglings which has maimed the party into a diction of violence. It will be impartial to encourage him to go into legal proceedings and judicial disagreements with his said 'enemies',than soughting out an amicable measures to bring a lasting peace and serenity for the betterment of the party.

Dr AA Abormgbai,
You have made a brilliant explanation to those whose lack of levelheadedness tend to have an arrogant passion to the acts of instincts and intricasies the Chairman is practising. It will be psychologically disturbing to believe there is any good governance perpetual of a regulatory mechanism or body than Fru's overzealous henchmen who are only there to safeguard their political positions and that of the chairman himself. The only option left to be done by the chairman will only be completed in a resolution and peace deal with his 'troublemakers',else he will be putting more fuel to the flames and definately exposing his own Achilles Heels.

Hear Atangha speaks " The struggle to forward Cameroon forward shouldn't be personalised." Are these not the same individuals who write hell about the persons of those top party officials who dare voice out their opinion, which doesn't tally with that of Fru Ndi. In the same light, Fru Ndi will attack journalist who write opinions not favouring him. In that aspect, President Biya is far more better than Fru Ndi today, 'cos Biya is the most abused president in Africa, yet the journalists who do it are not beaten, nor threaten with dead.

Fru Ndi, is not just renting his house to a foreign gambling company, but renting it to a FRENCH GAMBLING company. I shouldn't elaborate on that, 'cos we all know how the French boycot of the early 90s, called by Fru Ndi, has ruined millions of Cameroonians today. It is betrayal, 'cos not long afterwards he makes a U-turn to give to the French what he once preached against. You can see the man's eye for money than for a genuine change. I know Fru Ndi propagandists are just too blind to see such a glaring fact.
Though each and everyone is responsible for his/her actions, a good leader should be able to point out the ills which may destroy our society. Against such ills as; protitution, gambling and corruption. But to my greatest dismay Fru Ndi is promoting, atleast the gambling part which we all can see. This has destroyed many families and continue to do so in Cameroon.

Atangha, you sound pathetic begging your addresser to see with your point. I wonder where you bought humlity, i thought you guys, are just out to attack, those who voice their opposition to the way the SDF is been run. Being arrogant, in your support of Fru Ndi. Most of you have, done more harm than good on the image of Fru Ndi.

I thought you knew alot about Cameroon, and i am surprised that you came to know of micro project funds only when the SDF came to joined the legislative wing of the government. Did the other parties, stop you from reading about the parliament of Cameroon or the functions of the parliamentarian or the modus operandi of the legislative wing of the government?

Tomorrow, when you learn that parliamentarians are entitled to funds for entertainment, and you have the right to approach your representative for any problem plaguing your vicinity, you will say it's the SDF which informed you. Young man, go read about your country and how it is run, before engaging in meanful debate on how to liberate it.

Dr. A. A. Agbormbai

It's strange that some guys on this forum still cannot tell when I write. I never write in support of or against any political party. My interest on this forum is purely intellectual, and is based on truth discovery. I am not a politician and I will never make political arguments in my commentaries.

There have been one or two commentators on this forum who take delight in impersonating and misrepresenting me. Therefore readers have to be careful when they read material that is supposedly posted by me.

BenB

Atangha, when heat don trong pass wona, you want to set new rules. What do you call ISSUES, not PERSONALITIES? Ngwasiri and Muna, are they names of ISSUES or of PERSONS? Haven't you people had a field day here attacking the personality of these respectable gentlemen?

You thought you'd fool the world. Now that good, objective people have laid bare the truth and your idols have been exposed as COMMERCIAL ACTIVISTS, you now want to back off with excuses of "let's discuss issues not personalities". Stand the heat my friends.

J M Mbandi

Mr Atangha,
I have been reading commentaries on this forum for a long time. So, I donot want you to lecture me about SOWETO or American Independence. Leave that for your history students if you have got any.
I am talking about bare face deceit by Fru Ndi and the SDF. Do you know how many people have been rendered completely destitute by the hey day preaching of the SDF.
Fru Ndi has not got a personal life because he is a public figure. He has benefitted enormously from that. We expect our leaders to lead by examples. Practice what you preach. I, like many voiceless Cameroonians out there feel completely let down by the arrogance depicted today by the SDF heirarchy. The SDF has become like the CPDM. A house to come and chop and go. I feel sorry that you are learning of Micro finance grants to MPs only after the SDF came to being.I 1987, our them CPDM Depute as he was popularly called completely revamped and rehabiliteted our Local Healthcentre with such grants. Many of my buddies were actually given scholarships from such grants. I am sorry this is not new to me. Even in the times of One Party, there were still some really good people.
So stop lecturing about America and SA. Talk about our own Politicians. What have they learnt form History. Cameroon is in a real mess. I can tell you that the SDF has become part of the chop-a-chop phenomenon in Cameroon. In my opinion the SDF has lost its direction. It has to reinvent itself if it seeks to regain the trust and confidence once bestowed to the party.
You can no longer see the real situation of Cameroon thru the eyes of SDF.
If Fru Ndi can openly boast that he helped some members to become Parliamentarians, what else can he not do. What a gaffe for a supposed leader.
You can see it the way you want. We need to chase the CPDM government out of Cameroon but no more under the banner of the SDF. They have lost their steam. It is now a Njangi house to reward certain people for loyalty to Fru Ndi.
Take it or leave it. Time is up.

You ask Atangha to stand the heat when you were the first to escape? You came back out of shame after Fon had exposed what you were facing. Is it not funny that you ask someone who has been bringing facts with an objective mind to stand the heat?
These days you don’t write to defend your failed master Ben Muna. If not of the fact that Ben Muna crossed your palms for you to talk good about him in this forum, you would have long given up. Every objective mind can see that you have stopped writing in praise of him (Ben Muna) unlike before. You are just hanging around because you don't want readers here to take what Fon said as the truth.
BenB is a strong guy like his dubious master Ben Muna that is why he can stand the heat. Keep on standing the heat man but don't run when it starts burning.

Fon,
Why didn't you tell me there was a sumptuous buffet served here? I can see all the petit wits lined up.

Fon, The next time I hear you talk of civil unrest I will send INTERPOL behind you. You like your bosses back home incite revolt and commit atrocities and when arrested you start shedding crocodile tears. Those culprits will pay the price for the crimes committed. Might be your colonel thought he is was an untouchable.

Mbandi, you have been very observant and your objective reaction re-echoes my stance on this matter. It is a pity there are still hoodlums behind JFN's faction who are refusing to see with new eyes. All they can do best is either incite bloody confrontations from a distance or execute when they are nearby. They will receive enough chastisement come 2007 during the elections.

Teribobs

Eyengue,
Atangha (George) is an iguana. He thinks with his stomach. Whenever he hears JFN or Mbah Ndam he reacts without even thinking. I don't know where Mbah Ndam got this moron from. BTW only morons can enable him carry out his feymania. I will not doubt George's family ties with the MAFIA gang led by his boss coz he is not worth the office he is currently occupying. I've advised him to use the free internet at his disposal to look for a job or go back to school coz his brain is like a dot. Time will tell.
