Opening the ceremony, Prince Abel Mukete, speaking for the family, disclosed that they were all joy when Akpo called from Liverpool in Britain where he is on treatment, saying that God has healed him from stroke and he would be offering a thanksgiving service to the church.
Abel stated that as their brother would be thanking God in Europe, they thought it necessary to organise a service at his Kumba residence to also give God the glory.
In the service of the day, coordinated by a stream of pastors from the Presbyterian Church Kumba, they thanked the Mukete family for thinking of God in the light of the miracle.
Quoting from the book of Genesis in the Holy Bible, Rev. William Abwenzam narrated the life of Jacob who rose from grass to grace after wrestling with God. He said Akpo, like Jacob, has wrestled with God until his miracle occurred.
The pastor appreciated Akpo for remaining close to God during his gloomy days in stroke, which has finally led to his miracle.Abwenzam enjoined all to live a holy life so that God could intervene in their situations in all perspectives.
He prayed that the miracle God has started on Akpo should be permanent. In the closing remarks, Nfon Mukete, the paramount ruler of the Bafaws and Akpo's father, said the best day of his life was when he received the news of the healing of his son.
He said what made him happy was that Akpo could think of God in his life. He prayed all his children to follow the steps of the YCPDM National President, who has produced a new reason to make the family anew.
Mankon Elite Hand Over New Classroom To GTC Alabukam
The Mankon Cultural and Development Association, MACUDA, Douala branch, on Saturday, October 15 handed the keys of two classrooms to the local community of Mankon, Alabukam, on the outskirts of Bamenda Town.
The President of MACUDA-Douala branch, Eliseus Ntseh Awa, said the structures worth FCFA 6 million were realised by committed sons and daughters of Mankon in Douala who want their children back at home to learn under a conducive atmosphere.
"It is collective in the sense that no individual should give a political definition to such endeavours of an association." He enjoined the staff and students of the school to put the structures to good use.
Ntseh said the sacrifices of Mankon people in Douala to ensure that Mankon rural develops, does not end at the level of providing good classrooms but also to health units. "There is a district heath centre that MACUDA constructed and have been trying to see how it could be equipped. This was about five years ago, and the cost stood at about FCFA 7 million," remarked Ntseh.
He explained that if Douala branch of MACUDA contributed this much, it is because the town happens to be the economic capital."Our elites in Yaounde are involved in book work and politics. We are non-political and the only language we speak and understand is development," said Ntseh.
He announced future projects to include the opening of culverts, construction of bridges and roads to turn rural Mankon into urban.
The Chairman of Government Technical College Alabukam, Joseph Mombari, and the Principal of the College Nyamboli appreciated the gift and promised to ensure that students make good use of it.

So this criminal Akpo Mukete is bold enough to travel to Liverpool for medical treatment. When Southern Cameroonians are dying, you and your parents are spending stolen funds on medical trips abroad. Wonders shall never end.

Rexon,
if wonders did end, life would lose its spice.
As Saul became Paul after his blindness isnt it possible Abel becomes Albert(may his soul rest in peace),after his stroke?
Have some sympathy and pray for the man, friend.

Vito,
Even if Akpo would have died, i would'nt have hoped his soul should RIP. That does not mean that i can pray for him to die.
I hope he learns something from his own stroke, to understand how it feels when you support injustice that have rendered the lives of a whole generation hopeless. His family has used the Mukete thugs for several decades to rape, Maimed and kill innocent Southern Cameroonians simply because they stood against "INJUSTICE" that has been rendering their lives hopeless, yet he can finance medical bills and is still asking a pastor to pray for him. Does he pray only when he is in pains and forget about the pains he has been inflicting on other peoples lives?

It is suprising that the Muketes like other CPDM big-wings go abroad for medical treatments. I think there are hospitals in Cameroon. But then, if every thing good and perfect can be gotten only from outside Cameroon, then young Cameroonians have the right to find their way out of Cameroon. Time waits for no body and the clock is ticking.
