This is absolute provocation from La Republiques. I am afraid, they might be provoked to do so. Lambi, a very tolerant and peaceful family man is now embroiled in this ongoing UB saga. Above all, he has been forced to lie to the public to protect his position. No matter how good someone is, when he starts working with La Republique in a high profile position, he starts flip-flopping to defend the evils of that corrupt junta.

I pray that this students should not hurt anyone in this ongoing saga. We should exhaust all the peaceful means to achieve our goal in liberating our beloved Southern Cameroons.

Fon

I call on the students in UB to continue the strike action until it is well verified that the imposed list from y`de is cancelled.
I pray that God protect you in the mist of wolves.

Akoson

So they've not yet deployed colonial gendarmes to disperse the protesting students. By 2morrow you'll hear that the campus has turned into a military camp.

Please UB students this is your last opportunity to bring these corrupt puppets to reason with you. It shouldn't involve only those who wrote the exams...nobody should be allowed to class. An operation "campus mort" should be declared. No administrator should loiter around campus.

By the way who's this guy in suits? Hit him on the head!

Angered SON!

Akoson

These students don't even seem to know their rights. Oh ma God! Ah!

Manga

The University of Douala has also gone on strike because of the manipulation of the admissions list into the faculty of medicine in the same university:

Plaintes

Check out the story at: http://www.mutationsonline.com/

Hey Akoson,

STOP!!! STOP IT. What are the rights of the students??? To hit the guy on suit on the head???
Its going to be an extreme wrong. You see the guy on suit?? he is Prof Lambi. A piece loving man who has been pushed by the adiabatics and pressure from Yaounde to derail. Anyway, he claims, he didn't sin the list. So everywhere is anarchy and entropy.
They don see waiti???

Everything in Cameroon is personal interest.

Agbor T

Hey Akoson,

STOP!!! STOP IT. What are the rights of the students??? To hit the guy on suit on the head???
The best thing is not to hit the guy on his head brother.
Its going to be an extreme wrong. You see the guy on suit?? he is Prof Lambi. A peace loving man who has been pushed by the adiabatics and pressure from Yaounde to derail. Anyway, he claims, he didn't sign the list. So everywhere is anarchy and entropy.

Nothing good can come out from La Republique government and its ministeries. If Trasparency International can recently rated Cameroon and it's president Biya amongst the first three in Sub-Saharan Africa for corruption, then you can imagine what predicament can result from this world shameful classification. Those who doubt this manipulation from Yaounde of results are still naive of what has been going on with public exams in La republique.

Here we can see a clear case put forward by the UB students who are out for justification and clarification for the reason for the cancellation of the results of successful candidates in the oral part of this said exam.I just hope the strike action continues until answers could be sought to these triggering and puzzling questions. This has tarnished the reputation and future of those whose results has been cancelled by the Yaounde junta. This is La Republique.Ridiculing really.....Fuggedaboutit!!!

Francis Nche

These events are happening in my presence. I have just concluded that Prof. Lambi is Paul Biya,s ambassador remotely controlled from Yaounde.
The dead of the young Lecturer, Ndeh Fru Eugene and of Dr. Endeley Herbert today are also remotely linked with the leadership of UB. Those who knew Lambi as a teacher will not believe the monster he is now as Paul Biya puppet.
The strike will go untill the right people are put into right places, not just the med school.

rexon

Francis Nche,

Are u comfirming the news of the death of Dr. Herbert Endeley, our former UB registrar? One needs to be careful with what is going on there. What is really wrong? These are people with great potentials dying just soo young. What went wrong? Oh what a young man. I hope this story is not true.

Muki StoneHall

BRAVO!! BRAVO !! BRAVO !!
My fellow brothers of UB,I have been fuming with anger ever since I read that story but now I think my spirit has been calmed by these pictures. The right to protest is your absolutely right.Do not give it up,even in the face of water canons and grenades.NO COMPROMISE! All those beti bastards MUST be removed from the list.Be peaceful but steadfast in your demands. This will mark the downfall of UB if you give in and allow those bastards to infest UB.Fight with the last joule of your energy.God be with you my brethen.I wish I could be there!

Akoson, the guy in suit is Prof Lambi, the VC. For the sake of peace, the should spare him.

Riccardo

CAADIM (CAmeroonians Against the DIvision our Motherland) calls on all the students to peacefully protest. It is so shameful to see accademic institutions turn into political battle fields.
CAADIM calls on our Members of the Parliament and our Prime Minister Chief Inoni to launch an urgent investigation into the matter and take corrective actions. Those found responsible should be fired regardless of their position. The list of students who passed the exams should be reinstated immediately without any preconditions.
Enough is enough!
Cameroonian people deserve better than what is happening.
The future of our youth is at stake.

O CAMEROUN BERCEAU DE NOS ANCETRES!

Riccardo
CAADIM

Abesong John

I am so proud of these UB students. They should remember that the aperthid system in south Africa was trashed thanks to the voice of the students. Students in UB and Cameroon in general can turn things around for good if they stand up strong and firm for what they know is their inherent rights. These old leaders in Cameroon do not what harm they are doing to Cameroon so long as their personal and selfish interests are met. None of them cares for the future of these students and Cameroon in general. If people like Lambi and Ngos could have been stepping down one after the other, when faced with these tribalistic decisions as has been the case with the BIYA government, things would have changed for the better. A government that has caused a huge damage to the country that will need 200years and more to be rebuilt. BIYA forces our poor parents to pay taxes for ONDO DONG and co to pocket. Tell me what can really motivate a Cameroonian to pay taxes when the infrastructure is rotting since 1982. Graduates (engineers, chemists, physicists etc) of suffering Cameroonians should go back to the farms while our children spend Cameroon tax payers money in luxurious universities in Europe and US. That is Inoni and BIYA's ideology. Inoni and his BIYA have lost their minds. white colonial masters were better than our black brothers. At least they spent 10% of what they exploited on development. But BIYA and co are spending absolutely nothing to better our country. look at roads, hospitals, schools but ONDO DONG alone can sponsor a whole ministry. Combine the other 100 or 1ooo thieves like ONDO DONG and see where Cameroon might have been today. God bless Cameroon.
Tell me what these our poor students should be proud of again in Cameroon. Let the strike action continue till every student is killed to justify BIYA's tyranny. One hundred days for the thieve, one day for the master.

tayong

Ladies and Gentlemen

Its confirmed already that Prof Éndeley kicked the bucket sometimes yesterday. Fellow contrymen, let no one , I mean no one rejoice over the misfortune of another be it your so called political adversary talk less of a fellow Southern Cameroonian like Endeley. Who knows if he would've have changed his position vis a vis the sufferings of his people with time.

Secondly I personally disagree with my good friend above asking a student to strike someone while fighting for freedom.Martin Lurther King once said" if you are fighting against an evil ,never should you be found guilty of committing that same evil". Demonstration is everyone's civil right but violence is felony.

Thirdly the UB sanga is just a tip of the iceberg. Our informat just informed us from that Cameroon Douala Universite is bubbling and is almost at boiling point too. Cameroonians have had this up to their necks and are ready to vomit all. Bangante agitated some weeks back but was quickly quelled down , who knows if tempers might flare there again.

Justice Justcie Justice!!!!
God save and heal our nation
Tayong

I find it extremely irritating that the government has no respect for education. This only tells us how bleak and hopefuless education in cameroon is.Education in cameroon is no more a place for dignity, hope for a better future and knowledge. The shocking reality is that education in cameroon is a race for who has a largest purse.I just finished my advanced level and i am now studying in america. It really shocks me to see the contrast in education in america and in cameroon. Here, education is more than cherished, it is a weapon for positive change but back home, people see no hope in education so they seek for other means to suceed like 'falling bush',bribery, cults etc. And here comes the big irony, most cameroonian students in america do perform better than american students. This tells us that we have the potential but it is not being maximized. Its time for all cameroonians and africans to stop blaming the whole world for our problems and see what we can do.

Fon

Tayong,
I know it is not conventional for one to rejoice over the death of a human being. However, if an armed robber has ever visited you in the night, you will never sympathize when one is beind lynched. If I hear that Paul Biya is death today I will celebrate-oh God forgive me. In the same light I know how many Cameroonians have suffered and died because of the atrocities of the Biya´s regime; how many Cameroonians have become frustrated because of the Biya´s regime. I therefore have NO SYMPATHY for anybody who is working to sustend the Biya´s regime. The earlier they die in their numbers the better for our country. Sorry if it may hurt somebody personally. We should learn to call a spade a spade and stop pretending. Don´t we see that these agents of Biya are pushing Cameroonians to go to war?
Tayong when there will be war caused by this regime; do you know how many people will die. Instead of them pushing us to a war situation, let them die.
Do you know the role that was played by this fellow called Endeley during the Massacre of students in UB? If you are one of the families that were affeted, you will never that show that kind of sympathy.Do you know why Endeley was chased through ndougo water during the second strike in UB? If he did not go under a students bed, you know what would have happened to him. I am sure you also contributed to buy him a new car after the old one was burned in that incident.

Indeed, no normal person will rejoice when the death of someone is announced, but circumstances can force us to sometime do so.

rexon

Fon,

There are some reasonable ideas in your writé-up. But shallow minded people might wrongly interpret it. Nonetheless, i pray that political leaders should be able to reflect on it and give peace a chance. Nobody wants anybody to die. May his soul RIP.

papsy

the reason for this strike is good.the UB students are not only striking because of themselves but for the benefit of other anglophone cameroonians especially students.i believe we have to be strongly behind thiss students inorder for them to achieve their goals.this wont be helpful only to them but to us the anglophones as a whole.

Bthegirl

Fon you shouldn't be that cruel when somebody dies. It is perhaps god's own way of cleansing Cameroon, that, we will never know. No matter what he did, pay him and his family some respect. I am afraid that those carrying out the strike will be threatened with expulsion from the school.Lambi saying he hasn't seen any list, tells you of the level of corruption in the country. If this medical school is ever going to command the respect of academia at large, he Lambi must side with the students for what they are fighting for-autonomy. In most developed countries, governments do not meddle in the admission process into universities.

Danny Boy

To these striking students, may the force be wth you. You are right in your quest for justice, fortitude and rectitude. It is a shame that those who are supposed to be our leaders and defenders of our English ways are nothing more than lackeys and turncoats.

tayong

Mr Fon
I understnad the indignation and anger with which you write Fon. We all passed through that eye of the neddle, we all suffered , and "they" did all what "they" did .We survived and we're waxing strong out here and doing exploits , we should thank God for that Fon. Allow me take the Pulpit and become an "overnight" Pastor.

Its said that "he who must destroy in order to succeed must have destruction awaits him at the door of his success" . Had African Americans resorted to violence and destruction the Civil Right movement that swept across America and changed that country for good and is still making echoes today through Rev Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton, employed violence , what happened wouldn't have happened.

The holy book says quench burning coal with fire and not kerosene , Fon. In any case as I have always said God, history, posterity and even nature judges. Let's not take judgement or the law into our own hads else chaos reigns everywhere.

And now to the strike , the UB authorities are all blacklegs and lameduck "oui monsieurs" leaders. Lambi said it was an administrative error, instead of standing firm by their original list and resisting undue pressure. This is the Cameroon of Alex Depanda Móuelle "President de la Cout Supreme" who shamefully told the whole wide world in 1993 ,though the election were terribly flawed and doctored , his hands were tied. Why are they leaders if they can't "lead"?

Shameful nation and shameful leaders. Let them learn a lesson from Buea this time around.Buea is just an eye opener,ENAM ENIA ENSSET etc should follow suit. Before these exams are published the authorities have to wait for Chantal Biya list, The PM's list, the Governor's list, the SDO's list, the DO's and even the chiefs' list etc etc and guess how many go in there by merit at last.
Nonsense altogether.

Strike, Strike ,Strike but strike no man!
Tayong.

Fritzane Kiki HK

Tayong,
Good enumeration there.Buea is an example for the other High institutions of learning in the country to make sure the government gives appropriate answers to this examination inconsistencies and misappropriation.I don't want to say this is a sectarian, discriminatory or ethnic profiling matter but purely corruptive tendencies by La Republique heirachy to undermind competent students in preference for their family, friends and favorites.I am blunt here to say that the nation has been destroyed by all these examination frauds and scandals. How can we give credence to these public examinees and examiners who are the pillars of the civil services and government. What kind of example do they want their children to follow suit.Cameroonians should refrain from these academic malpractices because education is one of the only gift a parent can offer but it's not tranferable.

We aquire it through hard work, endurance and patience. We have been hearing of how teachers give marks to University students popularly known as the Sexually Transmitted Marks (STM),and even in s
Secondary and High schools where the GCE have been under pressure to bring culprits of examination fraud to book and prosecute them.My point is should we allow the image of our educational sector to be tarnished by these recalcitrant few?

Let's face it,the earlier the government take drastic measures against these viciousness and unprecedented and prevalent fraudulent ideologies by students and the administeraors alike the better to improve on the deplorable and defamed image of this sector. The future educationists should be capable to represent their educational standards, degrees and diplomats and be better off future academicians.A good move to make Cameroon a place to reckon with.

Fritzane Kiki
Hong Kong

Watesih

At the end of it all ,we always call on the government to take measures against vicious students and administrators.Which government are we talking about. The Fame Ndongos have been used to remote controlling everything in Cameroon. In 1992 ,it was a telephone call to Mvomeka`a that finally tilted the elections in favour of Biya. What is even this practice of imposition in Cameroon with the use of telephones? In 1992 they set up a sham of a centre in the Ministry of Territorial Administration ,and gave Cameroonians sleepless nights tracking the results as their agents called in from the Provinces. This all turned out to be drama. In 1994,they came around this time with ,"Operation Coup de Coeurs".
Cameroonians of all walks of life were asked to call in,and make pledges, but we all know how this same money was said to vanish in thin air. That same year they initiated another farce on CRTV,"Hot line", and asked Cameroonians to call in and express their grievances about the situation at that time.
But this turned out as one of their release valves when the pot boils at 100 degrees.
The telephone has therefore become a tool with which to take Cameroonians for playthings.Imagine that a brand new Faculty like that which was about to be born in Buea
is now witnessing a difficult delivery, because people used telephones to impose fools that have no regard for excellence.
A President that rules his country by phone, dimisses his Ministers through the phone, and we may not be surprised gets the Juniors and Eyengas through the phone.God where are we headed for!
Imagine the pain we have in our hearts seeing this young students come out again with empty stomachs wielding sticks ,just after several months when two of them were shot.If the machine of suppression, the Gendarmes descend into that campus again,
then Biya has declared war!

Fon

Pastor Tayong,
Thanks for your sermon and also for the fact that you could discern the anger in me

Fon

Tayong,
Also remember that as a pastor, you do pray and when God answers your pray, don´t start question God why someone has died.

Akoson

Tayong,

What's death? ...And what's life?

By the way I don't know much about the person who dies. But I'll be happy when I bad person dies. I'm not mincing words. If Biya dies tomorrow I'll be happy. I'm very serious about what I'm saying.

Rejoicing when someone dies doesn't mean that you don't respect them Mr. Tayong. Those are two different thinWgs. When someone dies(a bad person of course), I'll be happy cos all the bad things he used to do will stop...at least those he did. I'm not happy cos he dies but I'm happy that God has STOPPED him from doing more harm.

May the soul of all the dead REST IN PERFECT PEACE.

"Momento homo quia pulvis et in puveret, reveneris"..."Remember oh Man that you are dust and into dust shall you return".

May God forgive our selfish nature! It is better to say your mind than pretend that you'll not be happy when Biya dies! Whether we like it or not...those who get pissed off and are tired of Mr. Biya or whoever MUST initially rejoice when they die. That's a normal human nature. We can't overcome it. We shouldn't pretend!

LORD forgive us!

AMEN.

Breaking News............
´
This is just a piece of informatiom for some uninformed and frightened people who fear Southern Cameroon issue might jeopardize their interest, Ricardo et co take note!

Canadian Parliament has just voted overwhelmingly to recognize Quebec as a "nation" within a united Canada . The parliament saw that Quebec has a diffrent cultural institution different from the larger Canada and therefore according to international law qualify as a "nation within an nation" yet they remain Canadians but with an authonmy paralleled to "national autonomy".

Does that sound anything to those frightened individuals of the Southern Cameroon cause?

Time will tell
Tayong

Muki StoneHall

COURAGE UBSU, NO TURNING BACK!!!
Words just filtering in from Buea have it that the situation on ground is getting tenser and tenser. The students have come out in their numbers and the pressure on the regime is mounting.
We salute this great courage of our brothers in UB.We urge all right-minded anglophones in Buea and the whole of cameroon to join this noble fight. This is not just a fight against a fraudulent list:it is a fight for the anglophone identity. Therefore, taximen, teachers, pupils, businessmen etc, stand up and join this fight.NO COMPROMISE.The fight must go on until the original list is re-instated.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

rexon

Tayong,

It was carried out live in the TV here. Those who want to reduce Southern Cameroonians as beggars from La Republique Francaise Du Cameroun are day dreamers.

Watesih

Even as tempers keep flaring ,we must track the facts and present them the way they began.

1. Last Tuesday and Wednesday, concour into the Faculty Of Medicine organised.
2. The results are sent to the Minister some time after.
3. The Minister refuses to sign the results, claiming that the lists were made up only of Anglophones.
4.The list is sent back to UB with instructions to the organisers of the Concour to equally add the names of francophones.
5.A 'readjustment' is done.
6.The names of 24 Anglophone admitted students are substituted from this list of 127 names ,for the benefit of 26 francophone students.
Facts to Retain
1. The Decision creating the Faculty of Medicine, gives it the green light to publish results.
2. The VC Lambi surely made a "monumental error" as he termed it ,by lying that he published the list without getting the greenlight from the heirarchy. The list of names was actually sent to the Minister who rejected it.

Questions?
1. Is it normal to replace the names of meritorous students with those of unqualified ones, simply because they are Francophones?
2. Since it was the first entrance exam why did the heirarchy not respect the students who toiled to sit for this exam?
3. Who feels the discrimination most, the person who registered for the exam, sat for it,went through the orals, and is admitted,
or a " Telephonically transmitted student".
4. Is there a place in the constitution of Cameroon that stipulates that when students in an English speaking environment sit for examinations ,their French speaking counterparts should be imposed on them?
So many questions isn`t it,but one thing is clear, that even Oliver Twist could summon his courage and revolt.

Zandré

The news i just got is that the Police force are now around UB.My greatest fear here is that there might be some sale outs who the gov't may try to use to calm the situations,The guys should be very vigiliant and look out 4 any sale-outs.as it's now the gov't will use the students against themselves.I don't see any lecturer or administrator who'll be sacrificed for this strike. The course of the strike is due to a national problem douala is involved in the "Medical list gate scandal".I'm sure the other universities are also included, just that ,they might not have released their list.Lets wait and see.
And the struggle continues.

For those who know me, am an ardent supporter of the SDF and an enemy to all those who want to destroy the party because this IN MY humble would be equal to taking cameroon back to the dark ages of monopartism and dictatorship...(if at all we are in a dictatorship today). As an anglophone youth, i can never and even in the face of death accept shit from our francophone BROTHERS. Even in Ecole Normale Superieure Yaounde, i tell them in their faces and call them 'frogs' day in day out. (my class mates can testify). This explains why logically and just naturally am strongly behind the students who are like my brothers and sisters in the Universty of Buea for standing firm against against the shameless minister of public Health and i condemn very strongly the statements made by the old fox Abgor Tabi (the student union is illegal and that he will make sure those who are on strike be expelled) that pushed the students to voilence this morning inviting a heavy police presence that almost resulted to confrontation between students and the police. We all know how corrupt public entrance exams were in the days Agbor Tabi served as Higher Education Minister especially the entrance exams into Ecole Normale Superieure. This man obviously sees nothing wrong in the decission taken by the Minister of Public Health because to him such things are normal even at a time when the cameroonian government is stiving to stamp out corruption. Should such people be maintained in goverment, one can only be left wondering if this government is really serious. Am therefore saying here that am totally against such practices especially any thing that that reminds me of the marginalisation and subjugation that we as anglophones have been experiencing in this union..
There is no doubt that these guys are out to continually destroy anything that reminds us of our heritage and identity as a people..no doubt one of the placards by the striking sudents reads as follows.."la republique will not deceive us as they deceived our parents"...u will all agree with me that such situations rather builds a sense of nationalism amongst us ...
i just signed in this forum today and i hope to participate often in the discussions... and please nche francis could u politely tell us who and where u are? i dont wish to keep receiving your blows

Permit brethren to copy Dr Martin Luther King Jr:

Let freedom ring from the dusty park of mile 17 Buea
Let freedom ring from the rocky and galloping Muea road to Ekona.
Let freedom ring from the plantations around Ekona, Tole, Muyuka etc.
Let freedom ring from the hills and valleys Bamenda
Let freedom ring from the chariots of the gods.
Let freedom ring everywhere in the English provinces

God willing, this is the beginning of the freedom we the English speaking Cameroonians have been fighting for.
Let all Anglophones in Douala, Bamenda, Yaoundé, Limbe, Baffussam stand up now and join these students in fighting a just fight. I believe the devil's time is up. Now is the time for God's children to cry in one voice. It is time for us to say no to the devil and his CPDM thieves.
As the students continue this fight for justice, let's put our hands together and beg God to protect them and see them through. Let's pray that by God's grace justice will triumph over injustice, that good will triumph over evil.
Let the blood of those who were killed by the blood drinkers of this colonial regime stand behind these students. Let their blood unite these students so that there won't be black legs or weak minds amongst them.

The francofrogs under puppet Biya have not had enough. Common wealth scholarships all go to francophone students who can’t even construct good sentences in English. CUSS is theirs; the empty Polytechnic in Yaoundé is theirs. They have stolen all the Southern Cameroon’s resources- oil, timber, rubber, banana etc. With their greedy and wicked nature, they want to complete the take over of our only University. God forbid.
Students I can’t join you guys but my wishes and prayers for you. Amen

Writer of Wrongs

Just an idea that comes to my mind like that, it might not be a surprise that the trend of events in UB at the moment leads to a turn of administration that sees the promotion of Nalova Lyonga or Ngoh as VC.It is to be noted that two DVC are gone now (all men); with only the lady left. Lambi blunder with the minister and Ngoh coming in the spotlight as praise singer to the latter places him as a serious challenger, these two, of course, are viewed as Njeuma's pupils. It should be also observed that Ngoh could adequately act as Yaoundé's lackey; indeed, the overwhelmingly Beti regime in the capital now perceives UB as an Anglo-Bami institution. Given that everything is done to block the progress of this category of the population, UB offers them the chance for training in English which is the leading world language and which opens up avenues for them in world universities and world labour market. They thus ignore the Yaoundé regime and its fraudulent governance with remarkable equanimity as they fare well in life wherever they are out of Cameroon. Actually, Yaoundé needs UB, not for the received idea that it caters for the Anglophones, but because the French puppets in power have realised that Paris and their idealised French world only offers shortfall opportunities to their kids; chances which nowadays are overspreading in the English world!!! It is a secret de Polichinelle that the route to Paris is shunned by those in search of greener pastures and that the French themselves are all over the English territories in search for better life prospects. We should watch out for what is going on in UB.

Mr Nche Francis Mfone,

Not an offence to ask someone's identity but I want to trhink that in Cameroon and elsewhere, people can have the same name. It absolutely makes no sense you joining the forum for the first time and disociating yourself from Nche Francis who has been contributing here for ages as though Mr Francis has said he was you. And also whether you are CEO of whatever company, keep that to yourself. You didn't pay any advert bills to tha post to advertise your video club or whatever publicity. That's a criminal offence. Nothing personal.

You however made nice contributions and are you telling us the remote cause of the strike was the declaration by the so called Pro-Chancellor that the striking studenst would be dismissed??

Those are the same statements he made during the first ever strike in UB when the likes of Akwanga Ebenezer, Dopgima Valentine were there. he declared, if the strike doesn't stop, he will close the University, as though the decision to create it came from him. Until today This guys are wanted by the Cameroon government.

And here today he wants to dismiss young striking students for crying aloud. We know he signed for the faculty to start operating despite pressure from elsewhere but I don't want to think he signed for the faculty to recruit students via telephone calls and faxing of names.

We have gone through all the hell in this faculty. The stories are horrible to hear and if i want to start writing I may only finish tomorrow. I personally graduated from this faculty as a first batch graduate and this none of you must have known or heard. When we were in our final year and we had clinical attachment in some hospitals in yaounde, some made this statement: "Le Buea a creer l'universite mais il demande ma formation a Yaounde". What ever that means cos he was heading the laboratory Unit we were working under.

Another one who heads a service at the ministry of health wanted to make a negotiation with the University of Buea that the programs ( Nursing and Med Lab Sc) run for three years, the students be awarded with a diploma and then be recruited into the public service. When such efforts were refused by the authorities of UB at theat time, when we graduated, we join our fellow brothers on the streets of Cameroon despite entering this faculty through a competitive Entrance exams like the one that just took place with teh signatories from Yaounde. She even decalred thus "le Buea ne peut pas forme le biologiste". Maybe only over her dead body. Whether the list change when it was submitted to Yaounde is what i don't know as the written and oral part of the exams took place immediately after the other so there was no such thing as publishing names of those who passed the written part and then an oral but all the marks compilled and the successful candidates declared. The lsit was always signed by the mininster of higher education and always published on the website of the ministry at www.minesup.gov.cm. Again, no purely french speaking student was in my class though in subsequent years a good number joined the two programs.

All efforts by the University of Buea and faculty of Health science to cajole the minsitry of Public health to use some of his staff ended prematurely as the ministry of health declared, it's not the ministry that created the faculty. Some physicians who tried to teach in this faculty while on service in Buea were transfered to far away destinations. I know of one who even resigned and join UB to the detriment of his job at the ministry of health in Buea.
That is a tip. I said I will be back,
Part of this is also available and I will still be back.
What does this imply?? That yaounde should monopolise every litlle good thing or say productive, or better still anything useful should only be done or come from East of the Moungo.

Francis Nche and Watesih,

Thanks for clarifying this issue. We all know this people. Those who appointed them, those they work for, etc are all criminals. They are all a corrupt group of people with no regard for another persons life except theirs. All of them have names on the list, names of relatives, rich friends, etc. They are always fighting with each other. They will manipulate academic results, academic scholarships, Entrance Exams, etc for the benefit of their children. They will steal state resources to sponsor their children at the most prestigious institutions in europe and the United states. Then they will want us to applaud them, that they are leading the country. What a shame. This people are all thesame. Whatever they say, i must second guess, because, i know that they are NEVER interested in doing anything good.

Agbor T,

Agbor Tabi should not continue to force the hand of the Anglophone community! He notoriously:

- imposed fees on students.
- Built a fence around Yaounde 1
- Pulled wool over the eyes of English
speaking Cameroonians ,by sereptitiously
stationing carterpillers along the Mamfe
road.
-Stealthily sandwiched himself in UB
This time around if he stirs any trouble and a single student is wounded, not killed,
then he should be ready to defend himself!

Who is the pro-chancellor again?ha, i know him.Member of the corrupted regime. They preach good governance and democracy everyday to fellow Cameroonian still they are the first to go against the rules.Politicians are hypocrites.
Prof.Lambs, do not be misled by the power hungry regime and loss the trust of your students:During my days in UB, i knew you as a loving Prof and father always there for the students, you have to proof this at this point in time by being on their side to fight against the corrupt system.
How come a list is from Yaounde,i won,t want to believe UB is controlled from Yaounde by a mere stroke of the pen as the case has always been with other sectors of the economy as their so called "good governance and Decentralisation" can only be seen on paper.
To my fellow students, be united and fight for the right. But becareful with those deadly wolves.
Victory is ours!May God Almighty give you the strength and intelligence to go through.
DogFather.

Wateside, Rexon and all humble men in this forum. Please read this live from Buea.

FOUR STUDENTS ALREADY KILLED LASTNITE. YOU NEED SOME PICS JUST GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL THROUGH (monadio2000@yahoo.com)

What happened is Prof. LAMBI is an intelligent man. When the examination to enter the medical school was written, Prof. Lambi knowing that Yaounde authorities will impose fraudulent students on him, published the results the next morning. This is to wash his hands clean.
Then after a faxed message from one Prof. in Yaounde was sent to him to include 'foreign' students into the University of Buea. By then Prof. Lambi has already done his good clean job by publishing genuine passers waiting for orals.

That is why students are with him because he logically played his clean role by publishing those who took the exams and passed.

So people in this forum Massamoyo is writing from Buea live.

GREEN, RED YELLOW Cameroun flag has been used to clean the blood of the killed students. If you want a picture of this just send a mail to monadio2000@yahoo.com

Thanks

Watesih

Thanks Massayo,
Infact my warning to Agbor Tabi above came as a result of a dream i had ,where i came across so many gendarmes. When i got out of my reverie ,i felt a type of ill-
omen weighing on me. Little did i know that that was the moment our younger brothers were already lying in their own pool of blood. All those concerned are going to pay a price!

Ottou

This is a clear proof of how our brothers of the other side brought this nation to what we have today.
English speaaking Cameroonians have not have the sufficient number of places to study medicine in Cameroon and with the opportunity they now have some idiots want people most believe did not take the entrance examination to get into this department.
The problem in the days ahead will not only be that of the students, I am teaming up with my boys to shake the Yaounde regime.

rexon

Massamoyo,

I will be contacting u soon. Thanks for clarifying Lambi's role in this ongoing saga. At least he intelligent played his part. I hope many here will not be very angry with him. I was a little bit suspicious of his conduct but given the fact that i know his character to an extent, i could'nt conclude that he could involve himself with cheating. He is not that type. U know, when someone works with these group of bandits, he gets embroiled in this kind of problems. Chumbow had thesame problems.

I will be contacting u soon.

Fon

Massamoyo,
Sad indeed to hear that kind of news. one important thing you did not tell us are the circumstances that led to the death of the four students.
When we pray that those in high places causing the death of Cameroonians should die in their numbers; when God answers our pray, we start pretending that we are showing concern for the death.
My profound condolences to the families that have lost their belove children. May God fight for the weak
May the souls of these students rest in peace.

rexon

Massamoyo,

So students were killed. This is really embarassing. These people want to eliminate all freedom fighters in that country. That is really embarassing. The steal money, steal resources, etc. Yet they are not satisfied. When students want to stand for their rights, they kill them. We must stand to defend our rights. Nobody have anything against any of these people. But we all know them.

Someone here said, that country is not a junta. Is that not implicitly a junta?

nahjela

na wa oh. Students killed again? I am simply speechless. What is wrong with Cameroon? This is pure madness!

Writer of Wrongs

Can someone tell me why the fee for Master programmes is up to 750000frscfa in Buea while students of the same level in other state universities pay only 50000frscfa? Those who embezzle all the country's money want to turn UB into an élite university where only their kids could go meanwhile children from needy background would never grasp the chance of having university education and are thus bereft of the hope of bettering their lives and contributing to the development of their communities, of Cameroon and the world. The first strike that ever took place at UB was about fee increment where some people felt that we ought to be grateful to the system for having 'granted' us an Anglo-Saxon university and that for that reason we could afford to pay 400000 frscfa as fee. To sustain their view, they argued that they had children in Sasse where they paid 250000frscfa, others added that they were sponsoring children in Nigeria or abroad to the tune of millions cfa francs and that 400000 frscfa was virtually nothing. Fellow countrymen, I have the feeling that there has been a conspiracy theory in UB ever since its inception.

rexon

Writer of Wrongs,

You have very excellent ideas and u are really funishing us with meaningful information here. Are u really saying that a masters program at UB cost 750.000 frs? Even a tenth of that amount is relatively VERY expensive for an average Cameroonian. I repeat an average Cameroonian. These corrupt bandits have no regards for human life. In fact, they dont want our progress and we must fight to defend our rights. Really furnish us with more details.

Those who call them a government should come from their hiding to comment here. I am talking specifically to Dr Agbormbai who was given scholarship by the Cameroonian government and could not even return to serve thesame government. Yet when any news article is pasted here, he will be running his mouth with useless commentaries forcing people to pay unquestionable allegiance to these very evil regime that we all know. Calling them a hardworking government, using the best of adjectives designed only for angel to describe them, ecetera.

Akoson

When I asked you guys to hit someone on the hit you all told me that it's unlawful. Now you're rushing like chickens and coming to complain that students are dead. Kill all the enemies. Let no one decieve you that there's anything just in what Lambi did...BIG POOR REASONING. If he wanted to be "just" he ought to have IGNORED whatever list from whoever and continued with the Orals of the exams. He should've pretended that there was nothing wrong. For the simple fact that he did side a lil with the regime makes him an enemy. Fr. George always called that "corperacio imalo"....cooperating in evil. KILL EVERYONE WHO'S AGAINST THE PROGRESS OF SOUTHERN CAMEROONS. Kill and fight the colonial gendarmes. Don't chicken away and hide. Come out in your numbers. Your numbers will defeat them. Arrest them and seize their weapons.

This forces of lawlessness and disorder! You'ved a scar in ma mind not to EVER forgive a FROG. Just as an extremist muslim hates Bush.

The clock's ticking!

THE SON.

He who must destroy another in order to succeed will have destruction awaiting him at the post of his success.

Be warned!!!!

rexon

Yes Akoson,

All colonial agents are guilty. While they spill their hands with blood, i will suggest we go into prayers. What do you think???????????? All the colonial agents are all birds of thesame feathers. They are all working in their evil and occultic chambers. the only thing that can challenge them is our prayers.

We should take our knees in prayers.

Evil junta. Managing La Republique Francaise Du Cameroun.

Muki StoneHall

Akoson,
This time around I guess you're right! Anybody preaching peace is an enemy of the people. These colonial agents of la republique have no respect for S.Cameroonian blood. How many have they shot and killed in Y'de or D'la? These trigger-happy idiots consider unarmed S.Cameroonians as their easy and worthless targets.
People of Buea and all S.Cameroonians, for how long will we fold our arms and watch the blood of our brothers flow down the streets of Malingo? For how long will we allow this systematic massacre of young S.Cameroonians to continue? Do you know that it could have been your own son or brother? Do you know who will be shot next?
The people's power and determination to survive can defeat even the best-equiped army in the world. And the people's power lies in their numbers.COME OUT IN YOUR NUMBERS AND FACE THESE AGENTS OF DESTRUCTION.Come out with your children, your wives and your neighbours children. This is no longer a student strike. It is now a war between the people and the forces of evil.
