Cameroon truely SUCKS

Hear Prof Lambi talk.....shit
Hear Dr Ngoh, Waoh! who a week or so ago was talking about fraud. Who then is a fraudstar?

Who is fooling who?

What interest does the minister have in candidate admission? Will French or English be the langauge of instruction in that department?

Really Cameroon Suck

Fon

Emah,
What do you expect Prof.Lambi and Dr.Ngo to say? They must speak in favour of those who have put them at the helm of UB no matter the consequences. Ama Ama opened his mouth in the ministry of public service and was shown the door. Do you expect the same thing to happen to Lambi and Ngo? They have shamelessly refused to comment on the fact that candidates who never took the exam are found on the new list from Yaounde.

Indeed, the CPDM is built on a foundation of corruption. Take corruption away if you want the see the CPDM colapse.

One cannot hear of this kind of shit where I live. Over here, the final list of those to be admited would have been the sole responsibility of Dr. Akenji. The role of the Vice Chancellor would have been limited to determining how many students should be admited depending on the resources of the University. It is unheard of that the ministry is playing an essential role in university admission.

This is abominable

eyong

It seems to me that everyone is a first year candidate into the UB Medical School, including Vice-Chancellor, the Minister and the entire system.

Unless some high-minded individual are ready to sit down and structure this new department, it will soon become one more Relic of Failure in the Museum of Disappointments and Misery inaugurated by present generation of leaders.

Unless an objective selection prevails, the UB school of Medicine may quickly take its place on the shelf of artifacts of illusory projects of hope of the past, that have long been mummified by the deadly vermins of centralized bureaucracy, of selfishness and of nepotism in Cameroon.

Focus at this point should be on staffing, infrastructures, equipments and on a standard curriculum in Medicine worthy of speech in the International Arena of other Higher Institutions of learning.

ATS

Well, i'll love to see the ministry show this much interest in the number of candidates that are taken into the history department. By the way, i just hope the increase in the list of candidates is being matched by availability or a corresponding increase in logistics and does not mean they'll automatically pass the orals if Dr Lambi and Ngoh are only sure the ministry is ''supervising'' the admissions process.
Well, i see lambi is giving up even when the fight is yet to start but i hope the student union will able enough to fight these muggers to the abyss.

Kay

This is ridiculous! How can it slip the mind of the vice chancellor that the ministry of higher education would have to monitor every stage of the excercise and sign list of successful candidates? Even if that were the case, where are the 26 new names coming from? When did these folks write their own entrance examination? No doubt, Cameroon is amongts the most poorly governed countries in the world, amongst the most currupt. The is a system that is interconnected to include almost all facets of the economy. As a patriotic Cameroonian and alumini of the University of Buea, i will not sit and see this kind of malpractice prevail. Already the image of the university has been greatly compromised internationally with the issue of faked certificates. something must be done, this is the time to take action, may God help us.

Vally Bessong

"Professor Cornelius Lambi said, it being the first time the entrance examination into the Medical School at FHS was carried out, it had slipped their minds that the Ministry of Higher Education would have to monitor every stage of the exercise and sign the list of successful candidates".

After reading the above quotation, I am short of words. Mr Cornelius Lambi, (I won't call you Prof), this is not about monitoring every stage of the examination and signing the list of successful candidates. THIS IS PURE FRAUD. Students who didn't even sit the written part of the entrance examination are now on the list of those to take part in the orals. Why won't you people change for once. Mr Lambi, what will young Cameroonians remember you for? That you collaborated in the ruining of some students future? Imagine the name of your own child being dropped from the list for somebody who didn't even sit the entrance examination. Njeuma left and you came, with people having great expectations and here you are, after how many months, you are involving yourself in the highest, most shameful academic fraud in the history of the english speaking part of Cameroon.

How can some of us come back to contribute directly in the development of our country? Mr Lambi, you force me to write personal things here. I left Cameroon with my A'Levels, all through during my university studies in The Netherlands, I have always vowed to return to Cameroon, but after visiting Cameroon three times during my study period, I realised that there is no need to return and I can tell you that I am still right. I for one won't ever involve myself with fraud and working in Cameroon means involving myself with fraud. I can boldly tell you Cameroon is losing alot of skills to other countries because of your shameless attitude. I live and work in The Netherlands, but still companies call from Luxembourg, Ireland, UK, soliciting for my knowledge and skills which I could be using in Cameroon, rather than you going to France to bring people to manage Cameroonian companies, firms, and organizations.

I have one advice to give to you Mr Cornelius Lambi, all is not lost yet. Stand firm against this PUBLIC FRAUD, make sure that only those 127 students who passed the written part of the examamination sit for the orals. If the so called minister of Higher Education insists, then do as every professor that I know will do, JUST RESIGN and not let this entangle your children forever.
I am telling you this as a son ( I am 32 years old and you are older than my Father).

May The Almighty God help you make the right decision.

Aviche

More and more Cameroonians, especially those of English background, will continue to leave the country and few will bother to return. What a country! It is never clear who does what. What has a minister got to do with the administration of a university entrance examination? Where is the concept of an entrance examination from in the first place? What is the use of studying for two hard years and taking the obsolete and difficult exams? Nowhere in this world can this be found apart from Cameroon. This has gone too far. Our French-speaking brothers want to hijack everything: even what they have no clue about. Until merit remains the main criteria for any selection then we are going to continue our slip down the drain. There are thousands of intelligent and dedicated Cameroonians who will die in poverty because they were never given the chance to show their worth by being blocked from getting into the likes of ENS, ENAM, CUSS, and so on. This is why mediocrity and inefficiency is what we will continuously reap and poverty will continue to swallow us. God forbid!

Paa Ngembus

Anglos,

You guys have not seen anything yet.

"As a patriotic Cameroonian..", my foot.

When are you anglofools going to learn.

Continue believing in a country that does not believe you are her citizen

You Southern Cameroonians are not citizens of La Republique Francaise du Cameroun.

The sooner you learn that the better. Or else Frogs will continue these mindless impositions on you, with the help of "ANLOFOWLS" like Lambi and Ngoh.

Continue lieing to yourselfs Bozos. When you wake up you will have a lot of catching up to do because the rest of us are moving full gear towards the liberation of the Southern Cameroons.

Paa Ngembus
THE SOUTHERN CAMEROONS SHALL BE DECOLONIZED BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY

Watesih

Paa Ngembus,

I would like to agree with you to an extent that it has to do with killing Anglophone identity, but we also have to look at it from the perpective of a government that is completely at limbo.A government that has lost trend with everything including itself.I`m saying this because this same drama has been unfolding for several months between the same Ministry of `Lower' Education ,and the Universite'de Montagnes in Bangante'.Allthis type of behaviour smacks of jealousy, and the desire to either have the Beti bury Cameroon alive ,or have nothing good. The story in Bangante is exactly the same story we are now reading about the Medical Department in Buea. When
a group of people like Biya, his brothers, and friends are incorrigibly corrupt, there`s nothing to do,even if Cameroon were to be classified as the best blood suckers in the world.
When the world read sentences like," The Minister of Higher Education had said he wanted more Cameroonians to come for the orals" the only thing that comes to mind is the arbitrariness that has taken hold of all facets of decision making in Cameroon. This is a Minister who wants to feed the chicken the day of the market, ridiculous indeed! As for Prof. Lambi we recognised his usual humility,by accepting totake responsibility, and call it an error, but he must learn fast ,and stop sending mixed messages to all the Cameroonians who are watching him.Else he will be considered a pillion passenger to the designs of the Fame Ndongos of the world, thus of no use to an institution like UB.Even the most neurotic mind in the world will know this is not an error. While did the error not misspell the names on the list? How can the hand that made the error only have a taste of the names of some Beti hostage takers?
Where on earth can an examination be scheduled but later called off with telephone calls? Not even a radio communique!

sylva

It is so sad to hear such a story. Anyway, everyone knows the poor reputation of our cameroon as a highly corrupt country.
Everything comes from the top. the institutions are managed a the kitchen of the rulers.
Transparency should have ranked us At the first position again. "SHAME ON CAMEROON"

Professor Cornelius Lambi, with all the due respect, it is never too late to take a right decision, at least at your own level, even if it involves resigning. You certainly are aware that you are cooperating for the destruction of ethics for the sake of personal interests. Otherwise you will just have been another henchman of the regime. Who will ever inititate the right action and show the better example to our youth?

Fritzane Kiki HK

'Oh Cameroon thy craddle of our father.....' as the saying goes that when Yaounde breathes the nation trembles in like a Katrina and if Yaounde shouts there is always disaster like a Psunami. We should not be in doubt whenever orders come from Yaounde to cancel or carry out a project.La Republique as corrupt as it is has ever imposed on issues which will favour them and their selfish families, relations and pundits. No one public exam in Cameroon is carried out without examination fraud, misconducts or malpractices, yet Yaounde has ever been the decider of all the exams.Reason why candidates are never selected on merit or personal know-how but on aquaintance and affinities.Shame on them all damn..!

CAMEROON!! CAMEROON!! CAMEROON!!
I am totally dissappointed with the UB administration in general and Dr. Ngoh Victor in particular for exercising a very high sense of immature behaviour and corrupt practice within the academic arena. I had written a comment in Ngoh's favour following the recent incidence in which Ngoh vowed to seize corruption out of UB, but little did I know his intentions. I further thought that the newly appointed vice chancellor to the university of Buea (Lambi) is a man with a strong anti-corruption reputation, but my thoughts have all proven me wrong. We need to put an end to all these forms of corrupt practices especially in academics for it has gone to an extent that I am even ashame to tell some of my white friends that I am a Cameroonian. Why should I refuse my identity because of some of our unscrupulous parents who have decided to remain selfish. No!

I wish to salute the effort of the university of Buea student union for their swift intervention in the matter. May they continue to fight for their right for one day the hunter will become the hunted.

Fon

I will like to read from chief Mboe and the other thieves on this issue.

Kappa

I offer a bag of "bullshit" to the UB authorities.Holy crap!!! Nobody anywhere in the world would believe something like this is still happening in the 21st century.Have people lost all sense of responsibilty and decency? What kind of "medical doctors" would they be training there in the first place? I take back my support for this idea of a medical school in UB.Won't work if it ain't independent.UB is fast becoming like any other institution in Cameroon...corrupt,inefficient and a branch of the CPDM

Achiri
Halle/Germany

Big Joe

At first, I thought Rexon had some personal grievances against people like Ngoh, Lambi, Njuema etc little did i know that he was fighting a genuine war against these corrupt minded traitors. Some people were quick to award Ngoh with red feather for fighting corruption in UB despite all his previous misdeed, what do they have to say about this?. This is an indication that all public exams into professional schools are shrouded with frauds and favouritism. Is CUSS too full to accomodate those Beti brats?.

Big Joe

"Lambi also said the Ministry has profound interest in the admission exercise into the Medical School because on successful completion of course, the graduates would be absorbed into the public service"

.....And the best way for the ministry to show that profound interest in the admission exercise was to imposed 26 new candidates(probably friends and relatives) who never took part in the entrance exams because on successful completion, the graduates shall be adsorbed into the public service.

Ni Lambi,
- what criteria were used by you and the ministry to identify and select these 26 canditates?
- Was a special entrance exams written at the ministry?
- Lets assumed these 26 candidates took their entrance exams at the ministry in french language, in what language are they going to pursue their study at the medical school in Buea?.

Ni Lambi, you and Mola Ngoh should submit your resignation and save the already ruined reputation of UB.

Akoson

Who do you guys keep terming prof? Some of you pisss people off. When Rexon painted some of these guys "blue and white" guys descended from where ever to cruify him. It's good nothing hides under the sun.

The students of UB should die for their rights. For me they should resist and resist such that no other name should be added to that list.

In fact the anger in me makes me not to write ma point. NONSENSE!

Agbor T

Disheartining is the word.

1) I think Prof. Lambi has a point there; that UB organises the exams but monitored and results signed and published by the Ministry of Higher Educatioon.Thats ok.
What I know is that UB precisely the organising Faculty (here, Faculty of health Sciences) submits the list of successful candidates to the minsitry for signatory after marking the exams. As such what Prof Lambi should tell us is whether nothing has been changed in the list of successful candidates they sent to Yaounde for signatory. Tell us now and stop Flip-floping.

2) It is the first time Ub is organising exams into the medical school but its is not the first time UB (precisely Faculty of health Sciences)is organisng an entrance exam into this faculty. before the creation of the Department of Medicine, two Departments have existed in this faculty since 1997 following the creation of this Faculty in 1996. Admission into these departments has been via a competitive entrance exam like this one. Apart from the Dep't of medicine, this faculty has been organising examinations for atleast six years and no such extreme corruption scandal.

I am waiting for your responses sir.
I will be back for part II as I know the full croqs of this faculty.

samleyin

This is a another piece of bullshit! creepy ass shit indeed.
Where the hell in the world will the ministry descend into the arbitrator of a university admission. I thought things are really changing for good with ub illuminating the candlelight. I wonder if really certain things will ever change.

Prof Lambi,
It is a disgrace reading ur reaction to the decision of the ministry of higher education. you really accepted to be the scapegoat and bear the responsibilities of a pen decision. Remember when u use to tell us that every man is his words. Pa Lambi what is taking your words out of you today. Do you know man should be freedom so far as esoteric interests are concerned. It would have been the best for you to step down as the VC of UB than to sit there and be influenced by those dupes whose trade mark remain pervesion and immorality. You are just doing well in soiling your integrity and nothing will ever bring it back. Áre you contributing positively to the president's decision to sent particular cameroonian children to practice farming? This is venal dishonesty mr Lambi and I tell you your name will get into the payback book. But remember there are only two ways to glow: either you are the light source or you are reflecting the light. You are just none of this now prof.

As for Julius Victor Ngoh, that is his trademark. I remember sreaming at the top of my voice when he took the decision to instill transparency in UB. bull shit indeed. The only regret is how you managed to escape the last strike. Not long from now we shall use you for the cleansing excercise that needs to take this corruption away for good Ngoh. Yesterday all the windows at the central administration were shattered seriously and the wind screen of the cars at the parking lot. Then u say the beti names appeared by mistake. holy shit indeed! Do you see what ur stupid decisions are causing puppets? Just imagine you and lambi stepping down from your positions because of this stupid influence. your legacy of honesty will have become a good example for posterity. But because of greed you choose this evil path. Not long for now you all shall pay. Stupid man.

Ma Mary

It situation is everywhere, and in everything. The same thing obtained under Ahidjo, difference being that people would scarcely whimper in protest. The thought would not even occur lest you disappear mysteriously. Do you believe for one moment that it would be different under a Bamilike or a Bassa-led government? I do not think so. They would all be corrupt to the marrow. The answer:

I am particularly embarassed to see some commentators in this forum commenting on this topic. We have read from Southern Cameroonians arguing that UB is the creation of La Republique. I therefore, do not expect people who reason like that to complain when such unscrupulous individuals manipulate the list of entrants to the University of Buea in favor of citizens of La Republique and their relatives. if La Republique created and financed it, with no Southern Cameroonian budget or input, why should we complain?

Now that these group of puppets including SDF pundits in this forum have made it clear that UB is the creation of La Republique (and not the honest minds like Wamey, Boh Herbert, Anyangwe, Feko that sacrificed their lives to defend our southern Cameroonian heritage), we must allow its authorities to do whatever they want. In fact, according to one commentator in this forum, Achidi Achu signed it, paul Biya decreed it, etc. Thus, we should allow them do whatever they want. They created it, financed it and sign it. They should admit only beti’s and citizens of La Republique. We should honestly shut up and stay quiet.

Let me make it clear to you readers, that at the time that the honest minds of Boh Herbert, Julius Wamey, Carlson Anyangwe, Feko, Terforlack were sacrificing their careers to defend our Southern Cameroonian heritage and educational systems (that led to the creation of UB and the GCE board), these soo called VC's, Registrars, PM's, were telling us openly that we don't need any GCE board or a university system modelled on our anglo-saxon heritage. Now that the soo called UB has been created, those who have actually been interested in defending UB against the influence of corrupt henchmen of La Republique colonial empire have been booted away. That include the likes of Tahsoh and Nyamjoh who were'nt involved in "sex for marks or other immoral/indecent relationships" with UB students and authorities of La Republique Francaise Du Cameroun.

Some commentators in this forum, even attacked me and claimed that i am witchunting leaders of La Republique Francaise Du Cameroun. Employing their usual CPDM tactics while disguising as SDF pundits or opposition stewards, they used the most useless of adjectives designed only for animals to desribe me. Some even went as far as holding meetings in places as far as Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, London, Geneva, etc, to discuss ways of silencing me. I got all the news and have decided to stay strong and like Alexander Litvinenko, i am not afraid of death and even if i am silenced, there will still be others who will still keep on the fight against this very evil empire called La Republique francaise du Cameroun.

Is that not a shame that for once, Cameroonians can't be honest to themselves? Who is lying to who here? Is it not southern Cameroonians conspiring to destroy the future of our own generations? Are southern Cameroonians not a conspiracy to these inhuman crime? Are we not cursing our own heritage?

AS AN AGENT OF LA REPUBLIQUE, UB HAS BEEN AGAINST POOR AND HELPLESS STUDENTS WILLING TO BUILD THEIR CAREERS IN THE SCANDINAVIA:DETAILS BELOW.

We know why suddenly, these group of puppets masquerading as UB administrators have recently been focused on discrediting UB certificates with their soo called corruption drive. Previously, poor and impoverished graduates of the University of Buea were being given opportunities to study at lucrative medical and engineering schools in the Scandinavia. In the past 7 years, I can’t count the number of PhD’s, MSc that have graduated from prestigious institutions in the Scandinavia. These students would not have been able to find themselves in the medical and other professional schools of La Republique, if they were to go through their soo called “concours”. All of these students were not required to pay tuition fees and they were being admitted strictly on merit. Immediately La Republique’s government realized this, they decided to send their agents to the Scandinavia. Njeuma and her UB authorities (masquerading as fighting fake UB degrees) decided to travel to these schools to discredit these soo called UB graduates/degrees. Suddenly, Scandinavian authorities started refusing anything from UB. Branding them fake, etc. This was at the same time that the same UB authorities were manipulating scholarships for Cameroonians to Scandinavian Universities. I don’t want to name names here, but those who are familiar with Stockholm University, Uppsalla University, Karolinska Institute, etc, should sample all those who got scholarships directly from UB to see if they are not related to specific science professors in UB.

If southern Cameroonians don’t want to stand strong and fight for their rights, they are just being stupid. If they want to listen to people of the SDF, CPDM, Ministers, servants of La Republique, CPDM chiefs, Gerndarmes, ENAM graduates, and all agents of darkness, they are just being stupid. We all know how the relatives of these Southern Cameroonian servants of La Republique found themselves in strategic positions and institutions in la Republique (and out of La Republique on fraudulent scholarships). We all know how people like Achidi Achu, Musonge, Meoto, Njeuma, Nsahlai, Agbor Tabi, manipulated list and scholarships to place their relatives and children in strategic positions in La Republiques corrupt junta. Some did not even write the entrance examinations into enam but found themselves there. Again, I don’t want to name names.

While we struggle to build careers here in Europe, they should continue their colonization of all what belongs to the southern Cameroons. They should not go all over the world to discredit all what is UB in their soo called fight against fake UB degrees. Many own genuine degrees from the University of Buea, we worked for it, etc. Our genuine UB degrees need to be respected. Now that Njeuma is Yaounde VC, If she can also tour round the world to talk about the numerous degrees faked in Bonamoussadi for Yaounde University, I will have some respect for her. As things stand, she and Ngoh (as agents and servants of La Republique) are merely trying to discredit the credibility of everything from the southern cameroons and destroy the future of all those who have worked hard to acquire genuine and respectable degrees from the University of Buea.

Breaking News Breaking News.....

Dr. Herbert Enderley the Rigistrar of the University of Buea is Dead. News just recieved from an unconfirmed source. Can somebody back there in the country and in UB tell us the circumstances that led to the death of this son of the Biya's regime?

Breaking and Sad News:

Unconfirmed reports say the former Registrar of Buea University Herbert Njanjo Endeley is no more. If confirmed, our condolences to the Endeley family in particular and Southern Cameroonians as a whole.

Meanwhile Buea strike still boiling!

Hey, Rexon
Serious allegations up there...."Some even went as far as holding meetings in places as far as Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, London, Geneva, etc, to discuss ways of silencing me"....

This is serious and please strike the iron when it's hot. Who were these people? Curious indeed.

People like HEN cant die now. Those who wish Him dead should know that such people are eternal beings and have the key of life and death in their hands. It will be good for the currupt to live and see the punishment of the wicked.

The University of Buea was created by La Republique du Cameroon, and the simple fact that it is situated in Buea does not make it different from the other institutions of this nature. You can name them; Sonara,Cdc, Pamol etc.Achidi Achu ,an agent of La Republique signed for the creation of this institution, they later chose another hardened agent of theirs Njeuma to preside over it.She ruled with an iron hand, never listening to advice from all quarters,a characteristic of the rule by decree of her masters in Yaounde. The University of Buea is not different from that of Yaounde in anyway.Students` blood has been spilled here, marks are sexually transmitted, students forge results.A child can only be what his father is.
All the students who graduated from Buea had as teachers ,and leaders the Ngohs, the Endeleys, who are all rotten agents of La Republique.Today there`s no way these students who left Buea can prove to the world that they were not involved in sexually transmitted marks,in faking certificates, because the same Ngohs and Endeleys are still there.
What makes Buea the University of La Republique is that even a single phone call from La Republique can upset everybody in UB
and stop them from conducting exams.UB is a thing of La Republique because they can add the names of their brothers to a list without them sitting for theexamination. When you fight for the creation of something ,you have to stamp your trade mark on it! We are still waiting for those sons of Southern Cameroon who created UB to stamp their trade mark on it, since it is their University.Let them choose the teachers who have to teach there. They shouldn`t just be on-lookers,and witnesses to the rotation of the same criminals that La Republique has as educationists.
Those self-seeking individuals who have been trying to distort facts here trying to present others as being anti-southern cameroon are still learning to be spiteful, vengeful.Cameroonians have been fighting for an independent electoral commission for years ,and it is now that Biya has thought it wise to do something,at his discreation. This is exactly what he did to the GCE board ,and UB.The Ngohs ,and the njeumas are not discrediting UB in anyway.
You cannot discredit something you created to look like You. They are just acting out their impulses.
All the students who graduated from Buea ,Yaounde, Dschang,Ngaoundere, Douala,Soa,are all products of La Republique Du Cameroon.
Their Certificates were signed by agants of La Republique like Agbor Tabi,Njeuma,Mebara
,and some of these certificates are in English and French. Its not because we now live in London,Sweden, that we want to scrub our bodies clean of the La Republique`s crass on our bodies."When rain falls does it wash off the spots on a Leopard`s body"? It certainly does not!

Ma Mary,

Thanks for lending credence to this issue.

Ma Mary

Watesih, from what you are saying, since this is Christmas season coming, we should buy a good appropriate present such as this:

ASS KISSER BREATH SPRAY

for our brothers Ngoh and Lambi and others to afford them temporary relief from the odors they acquired for the kissing up that they had to do to get to where they are today.

You are so kind.

I disagree with you though. It is OUR university because we fought for it, and should continue to do so. It might still be in colonial control, but that is what the struggle is about.

Muki StoneHall

TO HELL WITH THESE BASTARDS!!!!

Just like Akoson, the blood rising in my veins would not allow me write anything meaningful here. Not satisfied with their monopoly of CCUSS,ENAM,IRIC,POLICE exams etc etc these bastards want to infiltrate and corupt this program from the onset.

My dear UBSU and all UB students, your authorithies have failed you on this. They will betray you if you don't take matters into your hands. If you allow this to start this way,by next year the exam will be written and marked in Y'de and in the next few years it will be written in French.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. The idea is to mobilise and take to the streets.Consider any person who stands in your way,Lambi or Ngoh etc as a TRAITOR. We must use our last joule of energy to fight for this lone surviving trait of our identity.
TO HELL! TO HELL! WITH ALL THESE FRENCH BASTARDS AND ALL TRAITORS BETRAYING S.CAMEROONIANS.

Ma Mary

Watesih, do not sell us short. The university is paid for from OUR resources and we must claim it.

If West Cameroon had a free hand as it deserved, Ombe would have been a full fledged technical university by 1975 and CCAST Bambili would have been a full university giving post graduate degrees by that very date and we could have had at least 2-3 full fledged medical schools.

I say screw it all and ditch the frogs. They are an albatross around our necks.

Watesih

Ma Mary,
You are absolutely right. When you say," If West Cameroon had a free hand as it deserved..." This shows some helplessness in us.It also makes my blood vibrate. But since i know the fight is a long one,i take one step everyday, and i don`t also want to lay claim to what does not belong to me.Ma Mary Sonara is also paid for from your resources. Do you also want to claim it? Hahahah Ma ,they pay their taxes in Douala ,and will grind your head if you take a step near them, but we must keep telling them.Ma Mary lets only lay claim to what we will create after cutting away from them, not trying to smear ourselves with what they have already contaminated like UB,Soa,Dschang,Douala, Ngoundere.

knganjo

This is ideed sad.Very, very sad. That the only institution of hope in English Cameroon is being hijacked by a group of corrupt, selfish, and egoistic fellows is unbelivable. It is rediculous that a Vice Chancellor and a Registrar who ought to have stood up to challenge this diabolic plan have chosen to dance the devils music.UB was created to serve the interest of anglophones. The frogs have had enough from english speaking folks. This nonsesne must stop and the time is now and not tommorrow. For decades anglophones have not had a fair share of admissions to prestigious institions like CUSS,ENAM,EMIA,IRIC ETC.Why must it be in UB that this hopeless minister wants to experiment Biya's failed policy of rigour, moralisation and national intergration.Does Lambi know that he would have been a herror if he stood up to the minister and his other cohorts. What if he even resigned because of this? Anglophones in Cameroon need to rise against this.Just like we fought and got the GCE Board and this university,we need to fight to maintain it from being polluted by a corruption ridden regime.Enough is Enough. We expect other smaller thieves like chief Mboe to blow the masters trumpet on this issue.

Let the sun shine in the night time and please no more dying for hunger and poverty

Les Nations Unies envoient les casques bleus pour que l'Afrique retrouve la paix

As I look around the world I sigh,
And think, We could at least live in peace with Justice in our Country

Peace remained by my side until I understood
what she wanted from me—that I will be free from corruption, tribalism and nepotism

Let the wind of the love of our nation blow in our direction
Let it touch us, melt us and mould us

O Cameroun, Cameroon notre Chere Patrie!
Pourquoi devrons nous diviser ce que Dieu a cree uni?

There comes people from the South; here comes people from north; here comes people from west; here comes people from east; here comes every Cameroonian
They meet in the middle and declare PEACE,LOVE and decide to live together to solve their problems

L'Unite du peuple Camerounais, je te cherche depuis si longtemps que j’ai cru un court instant te posséder, une fois encore tu t’es echappee...

Peace and Unity is in the waves in the wouri, nkam, Benoue, Sangha, Ntem, Dja, Sanaga, Mayo Kebbi, Anai, Lele and Logon rivers
Peace and Unity must begin with you and me!
You from the North, I from South
You from West, I from East
You from every corner of our motherland Cameroon

Why destroy when we could create,
Keep the peace, erase the hate
Our Country is so beautiful to be destroyed by hate

O Cameroon, Cameroun berceau de nos Ancetres
Your children want to live in peace with justice and prosperity.

Oh the agent of darkness Ricardo. Distorting information with his theories of peace. No peace when we are not happy.

Ma Mary

Feel goodism is no substitute for truth and justice, Riccardo. You must confess and abnegate yourself to the people you have wronged for forgiveness and reconciliation to occur. You supercilious frogs are incapable of such humanity, having been so messed up by your descartian freak masters.

Ma Mary

Watesih, my car being driven around town by an armed robber in cohoots with the police, is still my car. I might not knock my head about it, because they happened to be armed at the time while I am not, but I will vocalize my rights so that the rogue hears, his children hear, my children hear. When the time comes, justice would be done.

Sirry

i wonder if UB is noe becoming a Beti University. lambi and Ngoh please resign. This is pure nonsense!
Anglophones NEED To seperate! No to La republique!

SERGENT

what a shame! Cameroonians will die because of a few diehearted thieves. How can an exam be written by some students and others who did not even sat in for the exams be declared successful and called up for interview? this is a shame. The so called ministry of higher education is one of the most currupt ministries in that junta. some individuals have taken the minstry hostage and think it is their personal property. the so called professor Marceline, where did she get her professorship from? well i may say that she was also acting on instructions. therefore the person to be blamed is the short fame Ndongo.

they are trying to rub the anti currupt Lambi into mud. But no matter what, everybody can see that it is not Lambi´s fault, but might become his fault if those names are finally accepted into UB.

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT, SUCH PEOPLE SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH CORRUPTION TOO.
EMBEZZLEMENT IS JUST ONE OF THE ASPECTS OF CORRUPTION FOR WHICH ONDO DONG HAS BEEN CHARGED. AND INSIST ON SEING THE PRESIDENT BEFORE MAKING FURTHER COMMENTS.

FAME NDONGO SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH CORRUPTION, OFFCOURSE HE WILL BE HELD GUILTY FOR THE EVIDENCE IS TOO MUCH. AT LEAST, IF HE IS NOT CHARGED, THEN ONDO NDON´S LAWYERS WILL BE RIGHT FOR SAYING THAT THEIR CLIENT IS JUST A SCAPE GOAT.

WELL AS FOR THE STRIKE, I THINK THE STUDENTS SHOULD NOT GIVE UP UNTIL THOSE NAMES FROM YAOUNDE ARE SENT BACK.

andre fokam

This is indeed outrageous, UB students union is currently at the forefront of the real fight against corruption. their action is showing an invaluable level of patriotism, and we should support them to the end. in fact other university students should join the fight (it Appears the University of Douala has already joined the strike). All my kudos to the students, this once again is the REAL FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION and we shoud emulate their actions by resisting and denouncing corruption. It is feasible, i just spent 3 weeks in Cameroon and i am proud that i came back without giving 5 francs to a police or custom officer, although that made me waist some valuable time which i consider to be the price to pay for a better Cameroon.

Unbelievable, what aa outrage mess. I am amazed with the response Prof Lambi and Dr. Ngoh offered concerning this issue. This Administrator could as well issue certificates base on phone calls from Yaounde as well, in the name of protecting their job but can't stand against to protect the dignity of the lone Anglosaxon University. What a shame? This Administration are sell out. I can't find better words to describe them.

But nothing last forever.

nche francis mfone

hi all
am writing to disociate myself from whoever calls himself nche francis in this forum. i am nche francis mfone, Chief Executive Officer of Magic Touch Digital Videos with headquaters situated at the university junction Buea, and having sub-branches opposite CRADAT Yaounde and the University entrance Dschang.(www.magictouchvideos.com). For those who know me, am an ardent supporter of the SDF and an enemy to all those who want to destroy the party because this IN MY humble would be equal to taking cameroon back to the dark ages of monopartism and dictatorship...(if at all we are in a dictatorship today). As an anglophone youth, i can never and even in the face of death accept shit from our francophone BROTHERS. Even in Ecole Normale Superieure Yaounde, i tell them in their faces and call them 'frogs' day in day out. (my class mates can testify). This explains why logically and just naturally am strongly behind the students who are like my brothers and sisters in the Universty of Buea for standing firm against against the shameless minister of public Health and i condemn very strongly the statements made by the old fox Abgor Tabi (the student union is illegal and that he will make sure those who are on strike be expelled) that pushed the students to voilence this morning inviting a heavy police presence that almost resulted to confrontation between students and the police. We all know how corrupt public entrance exams were in the days Agbor Tabi served as Higher Education Minister especially the entrance exams into Ecole Normale Superieure. This man obviously sees nothing wrong in the decission taken by the Minister of Public Health because to him such things are normal even at a time when the cameroonian government is stiving to stamp out corruption. Should such people be maintained in goverment, one can only be left wondering if this government is really serious. Am therefore saying here that am totally against such practices especially any thing that that reminds me of the marginalisation and subjugation that we as anglophones have been experiencing in this union..
There is no doubt that these guys are out to continually destroy anything that reminds us of our heritage and identity as a people..no doubt one of the placards by the striking sudents reads as follows.."la republique will not deceive us as they deceived our parents"...u will all agree with me that such situations rather builds a sense of nationalism amongst us ...
i just signed in this forum today and i hope to participate often in the discussions... and please nche francis could u politely tell us who and where u are? i dont wish to keep receiving your blows

Agbor T

Mr Nche Francis Mfone,

Not an offence to ask someone's identity but I want to trhink that in Cameroon and elsewhere, people can have the same name. It absolutely makes no sense you joining the forum for the first time and disociating yourself from Nche Francis who has been contributing here for ages as though Mr Francis has said he was you. And also whether you are CEO of whatever company, keep that to yourself. You didn't pay any advert bills to tha post to advertise your video club or whatever publicity. That's a criminal offence. Nothing personal.

You however made nice contributions and are you telling us the remote cause of the strike was the declaration by the so called Pro-Chancellor that the striking studenst would be dismissed??

Those are the same statements he made during the first ever strike in UB when the likes of Akwanga Ebenezer, Dopgima Valentine were there. he declared, if the strike doesn't stop, he will close the University, as though the decision to create it came from him. Until today This guys are wanted by the Cameroon government.

And here today he wants to dismiss young striking students for crying aloud. We know he signed for the faculty to start operating despite pressure from elsewhere but I don't want to think he signed for the faculty to recruit students via telephone calls and faxing of names.

We have gone through all the hell in this faculty. The stories are horrible to hear and if i want to start writing I may only finish tomorrow. I personally graduated from this faculty as a first batch graduate and this none of you must have known or heard. When we were in our final year and we had clinical attachment in some hospitals in yaounde, some made this statement: "Le Buea a creer l'universite mais il demande ma formation a Yaounde". What ever that means cos he was heading the laboratory Unit we were working under.

Another one who heads a service at the ministry of health wanted to make a negotiation with the University of Buea that the programs ( Nursing and Med Lab Sc) run for three years, the students be awarded with a diploma and then be recruited into the public service. When such efforts were refused by the authorities of UB at theat time, when we graduated, we join our fellow brothers on the streets of Cameroon despite entering this faculty through a competitive Entrance exams like the one that just took place with teh signatories from Yaounde. She even decalred thus "le Buea ne peut pas forme le biologiste". Maybe only over her dead body. Whether the list change when it was submitted to Yaounde is what i don't know as the written and oral part of the exams took place immediately after the other so there was no such thing as publishing names of those who passed the written part and then an oral but all the marks compilled and the successful candidates declared. The lsit was always signed by the mininster of higher education and always published on the website of the ministry at www.minesup.gov.cm. Again, no purely french speaking student was in my class though in subsequent years a good number joined the two programs.

All efforts by the University of Buea and faculty of Health science to cajole the minsitry of Public health to use some of his staff ended prematurely as the ministry of health declared, it's not the ministry that created the faculty. Some physicians who tried to teach in this faculty while on service in Buea were transfered to far away destinations. I know of one who even resigned and join UB to the detriment of his job at the ministry of health in Buea.
That is a tip. I said I will be back,
Part of this is also available and I will still be back.
What does this imply?? That yaounde should monopolise every litlle good thing or say productive, or better still anything useful should only be done or come from East of the Moungo.

Agbor T.,

Thanks for this excellent contribution. I think personal experiences like these explains a lot.

Spare Nche Francis Mfone for introducing himself in greater detail. I think he is responding to a question i asked him in the SCNC email group. He introduced himself there and i asked him if he is not the Francis Nche who habitually writes against the SCNC on the postonline. Little did i know he will respond by registering in the postnewsline and clarify things.

Agbor T

Its ok Rexon. Thanks for that explanation. Nche Francis Mfone, you are excused. Its ok.

As I said, I still have part III of my personal experiences coming. Just gathering momentum. I will be right back

hey Rexon, something alittle more pesonal. Can I have you e-mail contacts?? Maybe be send them to tagbor2003@yahoo.com.

Agbor,

I have sent u an email.

FREEDOM

SHAME, SHAME !!!!
Yesterday the names of fraudulent students with forged GCE A levels result slips were handed to the police for investigation because standards must be maintained, but what is happening today? What are we trying to uphold?
Students do not give up, we are with you. We need answers.
In 1982 in Yaounde we did same to preserve the integrity of the GCE exams. Please do not give up.

Kappo

Its getting tough in Buea. It is allerged that during the exessive gun shots yesterday, some students died(about 3). This is shameful to ournation. Indeed the heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart. How could a nation like our still let things go to such an extent? This is heart bbreaking. I am so angry about this.

Akata

This is unbelievable but true. That our alma matter should be messed up by these french idiots is just not acceptable.
We are going back to the bloody years of Ub when students fought to the last day for their rights.
Prof Lambi, I wonder if you deserve being called Professor any longer. I just read in the newspaper that you claim to have made an error by signing the list in place of the Minister. What a shame! For how long will this go on?
As for Ngoh who has been crying out against corruption, fraud and what so ever. I admired the steps you took recently at curbing fraud in UB. How does a list automatically swell from 127 to 153 students and you find it ethical? You will all pay for the innocent souls being lost in these squabbles!
It hurts so bad but my dear brothers and sisters, don't give up! It is said that "Happiness is but an occasional period in the general drama of pain!" Tomorrow you will be proud of your efforts. After discrediting ENAM, CUSS, IRIC, ASMAC etc they are not jealous of the rich eduction we get in UB and want it destroyed! May the Holy Ghost burn them in their dubious efforts! AMEN!!!!

nahjela

I am totally gobsmacked! These two administrators should be utterly ashamed of themselves. This is really depressing. What kind of lousy stupid excuse is that?? I am just so furious I can hardly speak or write. How can one make such a public statement that it had slipped his mind... slipped his WHAT? Is this guy mad? Fools fools fools is all I can say. You would rather have kept your filthy mouth shut than to say such rubbish. Donot insult our intelligence! Utter nonsense!

Evilforest

I have been following up the developments on UB during the past couple of months. I have also spent sometime to read the comments made here on this forum.
No man in his right senses will think that Victor Ngoh has changed and should be at the frontline to fight and eradicate corruption in UB. How naive or narrow-minded are we?
Victor Ngoh is known with the help of his mistress Njeuma to be at the root of all evil that exits in UB. This man hijacked documents with the help of Njeuma to get a scholarship (Internship) to go the USA.
Yes, this has not been long ago, he was unmasked, Cameroonians in the US who knew this threatened to publish the whole story in Newspapers, Ngoh begged them not to do so.
To make a long story short, both the students and the authorities of the University where this man was doing his internship got word of the fraud and his program was terminated. He was forced to leave the US, but being ashamed of what people will say he did not return immediately to Cameroon. He went to the UK, spent some time out there but finally he had to come back to Cameroon. In fact the story is long. Why am I saying this?
This is the messiah sent to get rid of corruption in UB, Jesus forbid.
Corruption is embedded in this society at all levels. And yet we ask ourselves why we are so undeveloped come the 21 century.
Cameroon has made no progress in this direction since I was born; on the contrary we have made giant steps backwards in all aspects.
In Education, economy, technology, and human rights we are at least three centuries lacking.
If you take a look at Mozambique, Angola, Bukina, Mali just to name a few African countries, 25 years ago Cameroon was better off relatively than them. But today they are ahead of us in all the fields I have just mentioned above. Even football that we used to be proud of is no more.
La Republique is doing everything possible to wipe out the Anglophones with the help of Ngoh, Njeuma, Ngolle Ngolle, Philemon Yang and Co.
Anyone, I mean the likes of Ricardo who believe of unity are just dreaming. This Ricardo man is getting on my nerves. Please, all those who write on this forum should just ignore this man.

There are phantoms and ghosts everywhere in this country, ghost workers, ghost candidates, ghost writers and what have you?
Biya and la Repuplique, when they talk of fighting corruption, I just sit back and laugh.
Democracy in other countries means government of the people for the people by the people but in Cameroon we have corruption of the people by Biya and Co for the Berti/Bulu oligarchy.

UB students and Cameroonians who do not belong to the La Republique, do not let the Ngohs blindfold you. Keep on fighting.

Jah bless

I could by no means envision that paint could be stroked and shaped into something similar to this. What the website consists of is pretty significantly beneficial, and i can often find out a lot by visiting the web site.
