A German Charity Foundation has stepped in to assist two cases of abnormal children born in Cameroon.
Babanki Siamese twins to be evacuated to Germany for surgery
Children Rights Group (CRIG INTERNATIONAL) as the Foundation is called, has decided that a set of Siamese twins born in Babanki and a Bafut born pain stricken 8-year old girl, should not die because of neglect.
The Siamese twins, born more than 9 months ago, would have been separated by a South African Hospital, but the Cameroon government could not afford the amount demanded.
Edward Belo who works for CRIG INTERNATIONAL, headquartered in Potsdam, Germany, and Fritz Ntuba who works for International Children's welfare Foundation, ICWF, a sister Organisation, told The Post in Bamenda that the Red Cross Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa, demanded FCFA 35 million per child, meaning FCFA 70 million for both, to be paid before the twins reached 9 months, but the Cameroon Government could only promise to provide FCFA 10 million.
Sick Abnormal Child
Fortunately for the children, the University of Jena, Germany, has accepted to carry out the operation, with CRIG's sponsorship. He said the twins who are still in Cameroon would be flown to Germany in two weeks from the day he was speaking.
Rosaline Che Gwen is the name of the 8-year-old girl from Bafut. She became ill 4 months after birth. At the age of four, her right arm started swelling. She was taken to several hospitals in the Northwest Province and being unable to get her cured because no specialist could be found, her family concluded that the illness was the result of witchcraft.
The swollen arm, they said, is soft and so painful that the child said she would feel better if it were cut off. The fact that her father since died, compounded matters. Belo said CRIG INTERNATIONAL only got the file of the sick girl on September 19 and sent it to their partners, e.v. Kinder brauchen uns e.v. which means "Children Need Us."
By the time she was flown to Germany where she is already undergoing treatment, the pain had extended to her lungs and then to her back which was also swollen. Before she was evacuated, they said, the doctors in Germany wanted to send a team of specialists to find out whether it was the result of an epidemic, but on learning that it was an isolated case, they changed their minds.
The treatment, he said, will cost 55.000 euros, about FCFA 33 million. The twins will cost more.Commenting about CRIG INTERNATIONAL Edward Belo said the objective is to better the lives of children the world over, in the domains of health, education and
counselling in accordance with UN conventions.
Save Africa's Children, he said, is the name of the Foundation in the US providing the major funding. It has spent $2500 in Cameroon for this year. Fritz Ntuba disclosed that a house for sick and destitute children was under construction in Bafut.
They cannot pay 70 millions francs for the seperation of these twins, but they can still 52 billions, bribe journalist to publish good news about them, inaugurate buildings that are inexistant, etc. This are the most corrupt group of bandits on earth.

REXON,
AGAIN, THE SDO FOR DONGA MANTUNG SAYS THE MONEY THE CTE STRIKING WORKERS ARE DEMANDING IS MORE THAN THAT WHICH COULD BE USED TO PURCHASE TOLE, DJUTISSA AND NDU PLANTATIONS. FUNNY INDEED. THEY STEAL PUBLIC FUNDS DAY IN AND OUT. CUSTOM OFFICERS AROUND THE BOARDERS NOW CONTROL EVEN OLD BICYCLES AND THE CASH ENDS WITH A BOTTLE OF CASTEL AND ROASTED MEAT FOR A JOB WELL DONE IN THE COURSE OF THE DAY YET OUR PEOPLE PASS THRO HELL EVERYDAY. WE NEED ABSOLUTE CLEANSING. IF NATURE CAN EVEN BEGIN BY SELECTING CPDM BABIES AND REMOTE CONTROLS CALLED FONS AND CHIEFS, THEN THAT IS GONNA BE A STEP FORWARD.HOWEVER MORE STILL NEED TO BE DONE TO CREATE AWARENESS IN OUR PEOPLE FOR MOST OF THE CURRENT EVENTS TODAY ARE STILL TO BE HEARD IN AKO, NWA, FRU AWA, NDIAN ETC. IF THAT CAN BE DONE, THEN WE CAN BEGIN FROM THERE.
