Liars, Liars, and criminals masquerading as a government. When u kill, slain, etc. U turn around and preach peace. Have any of your children be killed?

What goverment? Was it not thesame government that planned and executed the slaining of these students. While i support a peaceful protest, I urge the students not to listen to any of these criminals masquerading as a government. They should not listen to any UB adminstrator or any soo called member of government. They are all partners in the crime. They are all liars as they have framed the stories.

rexon

We are tired of all these communique's. Students, dont believe in these criminals. They are all liars. They always have stories to tell us, about the fight against corruption, about development, about peace, etc. But when it comes to executing this fight against corruption which they instituted, they will slain you. They have sacrificed some of you simply because they want to force the names of their children into the list of students into UB medical school. What a shame. Sacrificing another persons life simply because you want position.

Biya, Inoni, Achidi Achu, etc and all those supporting this criminal actions, You all have blood on your hands. You will never have peace in this world. As you sit in your occultic chambers and plan all these evil simply because of greed, u shall never have peace.

rexon

Hear them, investigations. Oh my god, these liars have no human concience. Why did't u investigate the track records of Inoni before appointing him the registrar of the University of Buea. Why have'nt u investigated the sham privatisation involving Bronbon Finex. Liars and partners of crime. Criminals masquerading as a government. Now they are talking about investigations.

My dear brothers and sisters, is this the first time you are hearing these stories? When people are slained, the say, they want to investigate. Why did'nt this soo called head of government make a statement when the students were demanding for the reinstatment of the original names of those who passed the exams?

Dont listen to this man, my dear brothers and sisters.

rexon

I mean track records of Ngoh.

Neba Funiba

How did authorities in Yaounde arrive the conclusion that armed groups attacked police thus provoking the fracas that resulted to the death of two students when they are still promising to conduct an investigation? What was the outcome of the other investigation last year when two students were killed? Is this the peace that the emasculated and despoiled Anglophone, handclapping elites are always talking about? If the students were demonstrating within campus what prompted the police to go into campus and engage the students? Ladies and gentlemen, I will be back with more analysis but for now, I just want to remind folks that individuals or groups in any country can be sued for crimes against humanity in Germany, Belgium, and even in the United States. Most of these criminals are fund of taking vacations to come and spend their loot in the US or somewhere in Europe; compile their names and circulate to various international organizations such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, US Department of State, the White House, US House of Representative--Subcommittee on Africa Affairs as well as the US Senate. Monitor their movements and once they are in the US, a lawsuit can be filed and they will be arrested when they want to live. These criminals will not stop these senseless killings until one of them is actually put in the slammer overseas for crimes against humanity. Rexon, I thank you for talking about the sufferings of SCians. Silence in the 1960s has had devastating consequences on the sociopolitical and economic welfare of SCians. Had it been people talked about these issues in the 1960s, especially when the ruthless and self-serving dictator, ahidjo, manipulated the terms and agenda at the Foumban Conference, we would not be in this same situation today. As Martin Luther King once said, "...the right to fight for a right is a human right" therefore, it is crime against humanity when this right is violently suppressed.

Klemenceau-Shalom

They have made up stories to deceive the international community. They sent armed police men to kill students who were fighting for their rights and now want to twist the story as some of their agents like Mukete, Ricardo etc, have been doing here. These blood drinkers have no consciences.
The solution to this problem is for the Southern Cameroonians to start killing them and their children in cold blood. Guys I propose that some powerful Southern Cameroonians should start kidnapping the Children of these bastards who call themselves leaders. Their children should be kidnapped and they should be made to pay ransoms. After paying, the child should be spared while the father is slain either by suicide bomb, TNT or any means possible.
Let the entire Buea, Mutengene, Muea, Ekona and the whole of Southern Cameroonian stand up and say no to these pimps. These tyrants and homosexuals should be slain as Samuel Doe was slain in Liberia. Let these idiots die without enjoying the money they have stolen over the years. How I wish I had the super natural powers to handle these criminals!!!
Shalom
Klemenceau.

dangwa

I am very ashamed of the type of government we have and the type of robots we have as anglophones in the government but rest assured we won't live for ever so no matter how hard the government tries to hide the truth it it will finally hook on them one day. Pls Mr Prime Minister do not forget thst there is an American corner on campus and if you are trying to hide the truth from international bodies then you are just deceiving your self because the news have already gone international of the real incident so you are just making a fool of your government and showing how corrupt the government is even when you pretend to preach the the gospel of anti-corruption. For how long will you hide murdrers, hope when you catch thieves you won't announce it or make them to look as very horrible because you haven't removed the mountain in your eyes to see the grain of of sand in the eyes the civil society.
Well point of correction it wasn't the list produced by the UB officials but the corrupt list from the ministry, also no armed individuals were there only the students in their campus and the policemen deceided to show their tactics on innocent and disarmed students killing six not even two.
Pity on the type of anglophones we have in the government and worst of all the dictorial government. You should be ashamed of going backwards in this era of full development, the millenium era.

Aviche

God bless Cameroon! Each time we talk of armed individuals. Who are these armed individuals? Don't they have names? What lessons are we teaching the children who are all witnesses to these events? Questions, questions, ... and no answers as usual. What a country!

Ma Mary

Yes sir, most likely these are lies that there were armed individuals. That is why you cannot mix civil disobedience with violence. It can be one or the other, not both. By employing violence, even if it is at the spur of the moment and not planned, you invite the francafrique system to lie as in this press release, and to do what it does best ie "elimination physique total" of unarmed people. That is what they want. Student demonstrations must employ civil disobedience not violence. I wish to reiterate that mob action does not attract support. You have to always be more disciplined than the enemy. You must be superior at all times in philosophy and motivation.

If you chose armed resistance, it is not a student option, and again it has to be disciplined and strictly ideology driven, if it should not break down and become like the gangsters who took over Sierra Leone and Liberia. Violence is counterproductive for students.

The interpretation of the statement above from the PM's office is that they plan to do more killings and brutalisations and some of you students will be locked in LRC concentration camp system and tortured and tried in their kangaroo military tribunals in the foreign capital of Yaounde. Then they will impose their corrupt system on the university. With superior force of arms and numbers, they will most likely achieve that in the immediate term. The method of francafrique is not to yield a millimetre to mere Africans. Some will say that this is just about medical school admissions. It is a lot more than that. Recognize your context.

Remember that they and you are playing to an external audience. You must never allow them to smear you as a mob because that smear drives away support. You must always be more disciplined and superior in playing to that external audience.

Assuming there were no arms on your side (and it is a reasonable assumption), you must come up with a counter press release in the next 2 hours and give it international publicity. You may also want to get scarce from the area.

Fon

I read with tears the Communiqué from the Prime minister office.
"an assorted group of individuals armed with guns and clubs attacked a police station" Were the shooting done at the police station? shame to Inoni who is out to protect the interest of his master.

"and reminded all and sundry of the national status of the schools of State universities which are open to all Cameroonians regardless of origin"
From the above quotation, the comunique has completely ignored the root cause of the strike and is now insinuating that the strike was because Buea does not want to accept francophones; terrible indeed.

I have once said here that the best solution for Cameroon is terrorism. Many may see it differently, but we should understand that nobody is born a terrorist. Circumstances force people to become terrorists. Since we are not capaple to face these killers directly, we should start fighting in disguise. If we start eliminating the likes of Inonis, the Achidis and others who are working for Biya against our interest, the rest may toe the line. I personally have never seen terriorism as a crime; I see terrorism as a method that is used by the weak to face the strong.

rexon

Fon and Ma Mary,

Excellent Ideas. What way forward? We cannot focus only on the keyboard. Though we need to continue the sensitisation.

Fon,

What do you expect Inoni and all the bastards working for La Republique to say? The VC said thesame, he said something like "Monumental error". These people are all thesame. Criminals and liars. They have no human concience and can kill anyone who stands their way. They are armed robbers in broad daylight. Where is their Agbormbai, Mukete, Chief Mboe, Sangomonie, and all otther agents of darkness. they have ran away. And these are the type of people who were telling us to applaud these criminal government.

Emah

One day when these idiots will be snatched also by the good hands of death, PRAISE SINGERS will again be on their keyboards to tell us good deeds we never saw.

Inoni, talking about Transparency, Objectivity and Equity. Who is transparent and objective, Inoni, Lambi , Ngoh or the slained souls? Even in their grave, their souls will rejoice for a just cause the led.

We are Southern Cameroonians will have to bring these traitors to book in a just court of Law.

WHERE ARE THE SO CALL FRONTLINE OPOSITION POLITICAL LEADERS, IS THIS NOT A TIME TO SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH? WHO IS CONSPIRING AGAINSY WHO HERE?

Ndan Njoya, Fru Ndi etc why are you people QUIET? Are you saying this doesn't concern you people? Is this not a National issue?

Is a shame, indeed a shame for this country.

Fon

AS Emah has said, I am also very disappointed that so far, we have not heard any statement from the opposition in the country condemning the killings.

I personally want to get in touch with the coordinators of the strike to see how I can help them succeed. Please thoes of you out there should give us telephone numbers and e-mails of those coordinating the strike.
Ma mary, your ideas, our ideas may not be reaching the right quarters. As you said, a counter comunique is very necessary; it is a strong weapon for the international community.

rexon

Fon,

Do contact Jampack Brother. He has some excellent ideas that can really help us deal with these criminals masquerading as a government. This is the time we need to act in one spirit. Whatever our political leanings, we should be one. Our enemy is the very corrupt junta managing La Republique. Even our southern Cameroonian brothers collaborating with them should be considered enemies. After that, we can sit in the negotiating table to discuss with our francophone brothers.

I have even called some of my friends who are in the SDF to ask why their hierachy cannot join the striking students. These is the time we need these soo called politicians. They need to join us in Liberating this country. But we are not seeing them. But when the strike has calmed down, they will come with all sort of stories and condolence messages. Since they are more organised, they are supposed to use this opportunity to overthrow the evil Biya regime. That is our cry.

Where are all these soo called politicians in La Republique. Why cant they use these opportunity to overthrow these regime? If they dont do, it will merely legitimise my claim that they are all CPDM at Night.

Big Joe

Ma Mary,
I totally agree with this statement of yours"I do not believe in confronting armed men with stones" However, i believe civil disobedience can effectively work in an environment where there is some degree of democracy and the respect for human rights. Be reminded that the demonstration started in the form of civil disobedience when the students boycotted classes, it only became voilent when their demands where not met as the UB authority secretly went ahead with the orals. The most effective form of civil disobedience any student group can employ is to boycott classes indefinitely but that can't work with UB because i don't see the francophone students who form part of the UB community sympatising with their comrades. Besides, cameroon is a country where the government doesn't listen to its people. If civil disobedience was the best option the SCNC and other pressure groups should have used it.I am afraid the only language this government can understand is force and not dialogue. That is why i am of the opinion that the students should trade blood for blood.

Mr PM Inoni, can you tell us how many arms that were recovered by your troops after the confrontation?

massamoyo

Big Joe, Rexon, Fon Ma Mary and all good forumnites. Here me live from Buea.

THE REMANING TWO STUDENTS NOT SHOWN IN PICTURES WERE PLACED WITH GUNS AND STONES BY THE POLICEMEN AFTER THEY WERE SHOT DEAD TO SHOW THE WORLD THEY CAME TO KILL THE POLICEMEN.

CAN ANY GOOD THINKING PERSON IMAGIN THAT AFTER GUNSHOT ON ANY LIVING SOUL, ANYTHING EVEN A RING OR A WRISTWATCH CAN STILL STAY PUT IN THE HANDS?

SEE GUYS, WHEN THE THIRD GUY WAS SHOT ON HIS FOREHEAD AT CLOSED RANGE, HE IMMEDIATELY SHIT(I MEAN 'PEA' AND REMOVE SOME FAECES FROM HIS ANUS) AND OPENED HIS TEETH. CAN SOMETHING THEN REMAIN IN HIS HANDS AFTER HIS SHOCKED ATTACKED?PLEASE WHAT I'M SAYING HERE IS AN EYE WITNESS. AS OF NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED WITH THE POLICEMAN WHO WAS HIJACKED.

ANOTHER LATEST INFO. IS THAT PROF. LAMBI HAS TRAVELLED TO TABLE HIS RESIGNATION BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN PLACED AS THE ESCAPE GOAT IN THIS DELIMMA.
THEY YAOUNDE JUNTA IS TRYING TO PUT ALL BLAMES ON HIM THAT HE WAS TRYING TO FRAUDULENTLY ADMIT FAKE STUDENTS. REMEBER THIS HUMBLE PROF IS ALSO A VISITING LECTURER IN THE U.S AND AFRICAN UNIVERSITIES.

CATCH YOU LATER WITH OTHER LATEST.

Fon

Rexon,
I should contact Jampact Brother using which address?

massamoyo

CORRECTION.....HEAR ME LIVE

Fon

massamoyo,
Thanks for that information.
Find out and give to us information about those coordinating the strike so that we can give them advice on how to move forward and be successful. Do this privately; I sent an e-mail to you and therefore you should have my e-mail address.

Riccardo

Dear Student Patriots,

CAADIM calls on you to be very vigilant. We have recently obtained information of some individuals infiltrating your Organization to cause trouble and attack our Police Force.
CAADIM stands behind you for a peaceful protest.
Do not let the voices of darkness from people who live abroad in comfort, enjoy peace and tranquility fool you. These people claim to support you but when the going gets tough they all disappear as they have always done. All these Haters do is to expect to watch CNN and send some few dollars back for funerals.
You are in the front line to fight corruption, tribalism, nepotism and mediocrity...
Why can't they send you that money in time of peace?
Why do they always have to wait for trouble before they send money?
Why all these PHD Holders open an accademic Institution like many other Cameroonians from other regions have done? Do you know that you can become a Medical Doctor in Medical School in Bagangte?
And people who create this Institution di not make noise to have it happen.
They did not expect Papa Biya and his government to help them, but they care about the Cameroonian people.
Why are these noise makers only insisting to be "keyboard Politicians"?
Why do all these self-proclaimed educated people have to expect War in Cameroon to help transform Cameroon into a modern Democratic Country?
Patriot Students, these so called "people who care about you" are nothing but noise makers who have proven that they have nothing to contribute peacefully in our Country.
I trust that you True sons and daughters of Cameroon will not be fooled because you are very intelligent and you are a product of people who cherish peace and freedom.
America was transformed by peaceful non violent movement....
You are True sons and daughters of our Cameroon!
May God bless you!

Fon,

U can contact Jampackbrother through this address: jampackbrother2@yahoo.fr

He will not be able to reply to you today as he will be busy. But he will reply tommorow.

Massamoyo,

Thanks for your excellent informations and contributions. We know these criminals masquerading as administrators.

Let them place all the arms on the dead man's body and let them tell the world whatever story. But i know the good old lord will take care of the remaining children of the poor and helpless.

To Dr Lambi,

I see Lambi as a humble man and father to any poor and helpless child, but the best advise i can offer to him now is that he should resign. I have been hoping to get to him if i could to inform him that the best option at this point is for him to resign. He have no other choice but to resign from this corrupt government. Apart from the fact that he has been flip-flopping to protect himself and his position, he has directly implicated himself by saying that he is the cause of the confusion of which there has been no confusion.the fact is that Yaounde wanted to impose a list of Beti students for UB medical school of which these students did not take the traditional entrace exams.

Southern Cameroonian courageously said NO.

MOTABENAMA

IT IS BETTER TO BE IGNORANT AND UNIFORMED. THAN TO BE INFORMED AND SEE REALITY BEING TWISTED TO SUCH EXTENT. I DID MYSELF ONE GREAT FAVOUR OF LEAVING CAMEROON AND AS MONGO BETI SAID EDIMA IS TODAY MY BROTHERS WIFE, HOW THIS COME ABOUT I CANT BE CERTAIN. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A COUNTRY RULED BY A GROUP OF STOOGES WHO HAVE NO PERSONAL CONVICTION TO DEFEND BUT TO MAKE DECISIONS WHICH THEY CANT STAND BY BECAUSE THEY STILL SURVIVE Y VITUE OF THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE TO PLEASE THEIR WESTERN MENTORS.
HOW CAN THIS STORY BE CORROBORATED? STUDENTS WHERE SHOT BECAUSE THEY WERE ARMED INDIVIDUALS WHO ATTACKED POLICE. OH MY GOD (OMG) THIS IS SUCH A SHAME MAN MOST OF US HAVE PASSED THROUGH EDUCATION BUT EDUCATION NEVER PASSED THROUGH US. WE HAVE A LOT OF HEAD FULL OF INTELLECTUAL CAPABILITIES, THAT CAN COMPLETELY TRASFORM CAMEROON AND MAKE IT ONE OF THE MOST BEUTIFUL COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD IN TERMS OF LAW AND ORDER. BUT ONE THING DOES COVER US ALL WE ARE SO SELFISH TO THE EXTENT THAT WE PUT OUR PERSONAL INTEREST OVER THAT OF NATIONAL INTEREST. WHAT FORM OF GOTVERNANCE DO WE REALLY HAVE IN CAMEROON? AUTONOMY, CENTRALISED, PRIMINISTERIAL, EXECUTIVE OR WHAT SOME ONE TELL ME PLEASE I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY WHE ASKED. I THINK ITS A MIXTURE OF ALL AND WE ARE JACK OF ALL TRADES AND MASTERS OF NONE. HOW CA A GOVERNMENT LED BY INONI LIE SO OPENLY. MR PRIME MINISTER ALL YOU THINK OF AT THE MOMENT IS YOUR PRIME MINISTERIAL POSITION. I HOPE YOU WILL BE A PIUS FOLLOWER OF THE NEW DEAL REGIME TO COME OUT WITH SUCH A COMMUNIQUE IF IT WAS YOUR CHILD THAT WAS KILLED. GOD BLESS US. WHY DOES THE GOVERNMENT NOT DO THE SELECTION OF STUDENTS INNTO FIRST YEARDEGREE PROGRAMMES IN BUEA UNIVERSITY. THIS WAS A VERY GOOD ANGLO SAXON TRADITION UNIVERSITY THAT STARTED WITH ALL DIGNITY IN 1993. THE PROF LAMAS AND NGOH AS WELL AS ENDERLEY OF BLESSED MEMORY DID SOME GREAT JOB. BUT TODAY THEY HAVE ALL BEEN GIVEN POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND THEY ARE TURNING AGAINST THE VALUES THEY ALL HELPED TO SET UP. ITS A SHAMEFUL SITUATION AND BEHOLD WE CAN DO BETTER. I CAN BELEIEVE YOUR COMMUNIQUE MR PRIME MINISTER YOU ARE A RENOWNED ACCOUNTANT OR WHAT EVER DONT MAKE A MOCKERY OF YOUR EDUCATIONAL CAPABILITIES BECAUSE YOU WANT TO FILL YOUR STOMACH. THINK OF ALL THOSE WHO HELD THEIR HEADS HIGH WHEN YOU WERE APPOINTED. EMMULATE THE EXAMPLE OF MAFANY PETER MUSONGE BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU WILL COME BACK AND MEET US IN THE SOUTH WEST PROVINCE. THEN WE WILL NOT BE READY TO HEAR YOU SAY SORRY AS FONCHA AND MUNA IN THEIR DYING DAYS DID. POSTERITY WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU. DONT PUT ASSUNDER WHAT GOD HAS PUT TOGETHER

rexon

Ricardo,

No rightminded person can listen to u.

katakata

My condolences to the families that lost their children..may they take this loss with courage. And to the striking students, I must admit they have a just cause to strike about.

while I am not there to get eye witness accounts, I express my gratitude to you all for your daily postings which keep us informed of these events.

I will use the knife to dissect the speciment:

First, I must say Adieu to Herbert Endeley, Lord of the Buea University manor. That regreted death reduces by one the number of stubborn crooks that University has ever had.I still look forward to writing a Funeral Dirge for him..

Too bad, these present riots have downplayed the solemnity that would have characterized his inhumation..Well I trust the Paramount dad will order the morguers to keep his son in the ice until this riot cools off..A prince always deserves a decent burial you know..

Many of these Pioneer pillars died so suddenly in rapid succession as though their death would take them to a sacred grove far from their herebefore...But where did they all die? None died within the borders of Southern Cameroons...by fate or design they all died across the Moungo...Evil Coincidence indeed!!! Dr.Nama, I doff my hat to you,Eyoh and Ebanja ...Endeley, the present Ozymandias of our time, may your allies look at your mighty works and despair...I ...even I look forward with Optimism to the day of my demise..I have no history for Ngoh to write about...But I trust Ngoh is now burning his midnight candles making adjustments to his latest edition of Camerron History...Endeley, you will have a nice place in his book, ..a good man, father, husband, patriot who gave his all for his beloved La Republique....

I know you are asking yourselves the same question the students ask themselves when they see their friends slain " who,s next on the death toll?"

Dont worry, time will certainly catch up with all of you, and when it finally does, it surely shant be fun...

AGBORTABI, pro-chancellor to UB ? what a mascarade!!! what good can come out of such a man? I am not a gentleman, so forget all about ethics, personalities and respect...We shall reciprocate the respect they duly deserve when they show enough proof that they merit it.For now his likes are as good as any criminal upon whom mob justice is done...

This man is mean and childish...sometimes you need but the brains of a class 4 pupil to get solutions to a problem he would consider herculean tasks..God shall punish all of you severely for the crimes you perpetuate against your own kindred...AGBORTABI,..as I deep this knife into your flesh, without local anaesthesia, I expect you to be quiet..DONT CRY!...just as you dont expect students to cry when they are treated as animals....Do you still remember, you anus of a pig, that you deceived your own Mamfe people into voting for your CPDM, bringing student convoys from yaounde to vote for maybe the 10th time? Teaching these students the art of "Democratie Avancee de La Republique Via Cheating" And you networked a scam that the Mamfe road was going to be tarred..You even brought Cartepillars and Graders and camped them at the Former Guinness depot at Mile one mamfe...Then as soon as the people fell for your scam..the Graders took off for Yaounde in the early hours of the morning...Your own peope woke up later to find out you had scammed them..You won a victory for "La Republique" and in recompense for your rotten acts, they named a CRIMINAL as Pro-chancellor to an institution which shoud be reputed for excellence of thought and values...Your are a disgrace..I wont cure you...take him away to Die from the sore in his brain...

INONI the french equivalent for " MOI-PAS-MOI"...Yes I had known that your name alone distances you from your very self, from your own people, from your roots, and from the well-being of your own people.."ME-NOT-ME" ....You read Alex Hailey's " ROOTS" but learnt NOTHING from a primitive but well mannered African boy called KUNTA KINTE..He refused to answer the name his slave Masters gave him..He stuck to his own name, and roots...But YOU I-NON-I you sold yourself for caesar's dirty silver and just like Judas you would pay the price...Did YOU issue that Communique under duress? or did you do that willingly? My guess is you did it willingly just to dissociate yourself from your roots..AZAMBAWAM......let the Bikutsi drums roll an eccentric beat for you to dance and show them you are not just part of them by word, but by deed as well..ESSAMBA ..ESSAMBA...ESSAMBA...

When I read your Communique to 9 year old jason, the 1st question he asked me was " daddy, is the University a police station?" When I told him that it was a place for higher education , he shot a second question :" then how is it "ANONY" is saying that students attacked the police station?" I couldnt suppress the laughter building up in me..Did you hear jason well? He called him ANONY..the short form for anonymous....so ANONY is persona non grata as far as 9 year old Jason is concerned. The point jason was making is that " how could the communique talk about students attacking a police station whereas it is the police who attacked students on Campus, killing and maiming them? Yaounde is too far from Buea and INONI certainly needs long range binoculars to get in every detail before appending his signature on what his cohorts fabricate , and which he is very willing to sign, just because he is called I-NON-I.....

The surgery session is not over yet...I still have some patients in the theatre...I shall be back for the kill....If you have patients who you think need emergency surgical attention , just send them in and I shall perform the surgery for you...No Charges ....
CHEER UP MY PEOPLE

MOTABENAMA

SORRY FOR SOME TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROS MY EMOTIONS WERE JUST SO HIGH

Big Joe

It is rather unfortunate that Lambi in trying to defend the power that be ironically brought destruction to himself. He might have been one of the achitect of the original conspiracy(that of the ministry) but the actual conspiracy that brought about his downfall(the invitation of troops on campus with orders to kill) were auchestrated by Ngoh and co, this in a bit to make lambi's era look worser than that of Njuema. What ever the case, things will never be thesame again and he shall go down in history as one of those who sold their conscience to the devil and betrayed their own people.

Katakata, that was a wonderful piece.

rexon

Big Joe,

As you rightly cited above, Informations just reaching us has suggested that Ngoh is strongly behind the slaining of these innocent students. He is trying to use Lambi as a scapegoat in all these frolics. We should be very intelligent in the way we makes senses from all these.

Secondly, i will encourage all Southern Cameroonians to read Inoni's rhetorics in his communique again. That puppet called Inoni need to be moderated. He has employed technical words that have really embarassed me. He is now claiming the students were slained because they carried arms, and that they were fighting to eliminate francophone students from the list.

You see how these evil man is trying to twist things around?

Amin Nkem Atabs.

Yes thieves with theatriatic ideas never hide, they always come up like they go down, sorry inoni has no choice but to join in such thievery ideas because he just like biya himself has proven to southern cameroonians that they are ready to destroy the young and intelligent. This will and shall never work in any way i promise them. It shall come to a stand still as soon as possible because we southerners are getting fed up with this marginalization and maiming of our innocent brothers. We shall succeed and prevail in all ways.Long live Southern Cameroon.

Paa Ngembus

Guys,

This is war and we shall win.

The liberation of the Southern Cameroons has begun in these Buea pogroms.

Ma Mary and All,
Thank you. Southern Cameroonians should pursue both options. Students and civil society should follow the King and Ghandi example of civil disobedience.

For the rest of us, armed resistance is the only way. No details here. You know where to go if you are ready.

AND FELLOWS, NO MORE SHOUTING ON THIS NETWORK. OK.

To Riccardo and His ilk,
May be you think you are living in France. You are in Houston, Texas, USA, in a country that respects the rule of law. As supporters of genocide you shall have your day in court.

God Bless The Southern Cameroons.

Paa Ngembus
THE SOUTHERN CAMEROONS SHALL BE DECOLINIZED BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY

Kumbaboy

A way must be invented to DEPORT the Allo Allo called Riccardo to France or Quebec. He has no business in Houston, TX.

Where is the SDF Shadow Minister of Higher Education? What has he got to say about the crisis at UB?

Does Cameroon have an Opposition party? This is one of the opportunities where one needs the Opposition to catch lousy CPDM ministers off guard and make them pay a price publicly for double speaking. Is Inoni correct in alleging students were armed and attacking a police station?

See you there.

Lets stop talking about sending e-mails from left to right. The immediate action in reponse to the devilish machinations of the Yaounde pimps is what i proposed yesterday.

1.This recidivist attitude of the
bloodsuckers in Yaounde must not go
unpunished this time around!
2. ANGLOPHONE PARENTS should holdback all
their children from attending school,from
nursery to University levels.
3. ANGLOPHONE PARENTS should stay away from
work for as long as the students demands
are not met in UB.

MORE IDEAS ARE ON THE WAY!
REMEMBER! If you kill an Arab in Iraq, more
keep flowing over the borders
from Lybia,Egypt,Syria etc

ALL MEMBERS IN THIS FORUM SHOULD TRUMPET THIS MESSAGE FOR THE ATTENTION OF THE
ANGLOPHONE COMMUNITY!

NB: Lets avoid to jolt the students` leaders
into any other action that will bring about further loss of life. The only thing now is
BOYCOT! BOYCOT! BOYCOT! BOYCOT!

NB: Those pointing accusing fingers at opposition parties should be careful.A government like that of Cameroon that feeds on the blood of its children will readily attribute the genuine students demands ,and the students themselves to be SDF ,CDU militants. They did this many years ago when they refered to Yaounde University students as Nigerians. The Opposition parties must get a clear-cut idea of what is unravelling ,and then take action. They did it with "Ghost Towns",and in many other instances.

If at all, Southern Cameroon had really wanted to be a separate state on the African continent, this would have happened a long time ago. The Biya regime had "honestly" given them uncountable opportunities, so they can seize and make their dream come true, but it would appear they've just been making noise all along and believe you me, these opportunites will be taken back. Optimism alone can't make a dream come true. If you had planned, this would have been the luckiest moment to pick your republic from the gutter and remember, only Paul Biya can give you a Southern Cameroon. After him, no Southern Cameroon. If you doubt me, you will doubt there is day and night.

TabiSweden

Rexon,
Atimes, your comments dont reflect your person. What do you actually mean when you said that the students shouldn't listen to any UB adminstrator or any soo called member of government? or that you would have wish that some members of the SDF join in the strike action. All these statements could only come from some one with no focus and or direction. I believed that, for the students to feel satisfied, there must be an intermediary person or persons to resolve this crises. So I think that, if the head of government who happens to be the right person to resolve this issue has called for calm as a first step for peace and tranquility to reign, yet you are not willing to listen, it therefore means that the intention of this strike action is a hidden one. I cannot recount any strike action in UB in which you were an architech or participated fully, yet you called on students with no control and or weapons to protect themselves to continue a bloody strike action of that nature, then I'm dissapointed. It therefore implies that, if by any way you were given the opportunity to lead, you would have encouraged violence rather than resolve violence. Be truthful and critical in your view of things otherwise hardly will you achieve your desired goals and objectives.

Tabisweden,

I think you misunderstood Rexon. What he is trying to say is that the students shouldn't be cajoled by UB authority or the government to resumme classes when their demands have not yet been met. At the end of the day, there must be a solution but it should be on the students advantage that in a nutshell is what Rexon and everybody is hoping for.

Big Joe

I will equally call on the studdents to include amongst their demands the resignation of Ngoh, Lambi, the minister of higher education and an open letter of apology from the PM. This is your only chance if you guys really want to prevent this from happening again. Remember the broken and unfilled promises of last year when 2 of yours died in a similar manner.

Claudia

Wonders shall never end!

Where are we heading to. Last year 2 unarmed students were killed while fighting for their rights, this year 2 more have been killed fighting against open and clear corruption. It's high time for all Cameroonians to make their voices heard about the corrupt system of Biya and the cruel killing of innocent people. The students have started the good and courages fight, lets all use this opportunity to kick bribery and corruption out of Cameroon.

papytex

Individuals will come and go but the state will continue. Two students dead and who will pay? People should stop telling students not to listen to the authorities of the state, because that is a very essence for being a student. Cameroon is a bad system and if any body does not want to realise that then there is a problem. At the end of the day, what many people do here is to encourage the students to continue stricking while they are living well in the rooms over there in Europe and America. When the students are shot , they start blaming the government. Every body knows a lion is wild, so stay out of its reach. All this said I do not want to be a coward and I think peacefull demonstration will call the attention of every body, not by destroying the property of the state. Because at the end of time we all shall pass away but the state will remain and those coming from behind will be able to see our struggles.

My friend Tabisweden,

Thanks for taking a keen interest in my views these days. I have been wishing you well and have always taken your views with much concern. I take no offense to what anyone have to say about me here. At the end of the day, we all have a concience whether good or bad and whatever we say reflects what we wish.

I will advise you to use your freedom of speech to tell your family, friends and sympathisers to keep listening to the likes of Inoni's, Achidi Achu's, Baba Danpullo, Paul Biya, Musonge, Ondong, etc. They can take them as role models and i will seemingly have no offense to it. On the contrary, allow me the freedom of speech to advise my own listeners to avoid listening to these type of people whom i always describe as a "an evil group of occultist with no human concience". Again, these are my views and i hope you take no offense to it even if they are your parents.

I have not called for violence or accepted that the students should confront the police officers WITH OR WITHOUT ARMS. But i have rightly told them not to listen to any single member of government or someone working for La Republique's colonial government. This is because, i rightly believe they will NEVER say the truth. I have also supported civil disobedience employing tactics that i cannot expose here.

Hear What your colonial prime Minister and Moderator in this crime have to say about this Slained students:

"Government’s resolve to continue the selection process of the pioneer batch of students to read medicine in the University of Buea, based on the principles of excellence, transparency, objectivity and equity"

These words are easy to find and use to describe people, whether dead or alive. I hope if you understood rightly who has been fighting for what. I also hope your prime minister, who in your view is a very "excellent" leader who should be listened to can justify that the issue here relates to the principles of excellence, transparency, objectivity and equity".

I also hope he and his colleagues has applied them peacefully in previous times. There is equity in the ministerials appointments in La Republique and the number of Southern Cameroonians in government reflects this, there is equity in the appointment of Divisional officers, police officers, enam students, CUSS, etc. There is also transparency in all these processes as these students are always the best students who registered and passed these respective examinations in the country. There was transparency when tole tea was undervalued and handed over to Bronbon Finex, i can go on and on with recent and future events that will happen here and even Inoni cannot debate with me in a foreign Land.

He further added:

"an assorted group of individuals armed with guns and clubs attacked a police station – ended in the death of two of the assailants and injuries sustained by the law enforcement officers”

Tabi, i hope you believe this is actually why the students were killed. Recall that, other students were shot in the last strike. I hope you knew and had evidence like these one that they attacked a police station and were carrying arms.

Secondly, i will like to respond about your constant talk about leadership qualities in me. Honestly, i think i am not qualified to become a leader in anything in La Republique. Because, mentally and psychologically, i see things from different points of view from an "Average Cameroonian". So i never dream of becoming a leader in a society like La Republique. Honestly, I dont think i am one of those who will one day want to be involved in the dirty politics of La Republique francaise Du Cameroun.

rexon

It is shameful for some people to come here just to re-invent and mis-interpret Rexon's views, without writing a single sentence to condemn the perpetrators of this crime.

They are your government, NEVER mine.

This is too sad and waranting state reparation to these continuous lose of lives.Families cannot invest in children, only to loose them in one second.I believe our police force should go back to the class rooms and learn on how to tackle civil society manifestations. This is not rightful to use live bullets on civilians in modern times. There are several ways to calm down rioting without lose of lives.Cameroon should learn from other nations.Demonstrators are to be guided and not to be killed.Killing unarmed civilians in this case is an open show of statist authoritarianism in Cameroon which contradicts our democratic identity. It appears all of our institutions are sick.I feel provoked from this end to join the rioting because the reason behind it is justifiable.
The government press release is a sham and lacks objectivity. It conceals and legitimises the minister's corrupt deal which orchestrated the event. The VC is equally fearful and contradicting by saying he mistakenly signed the written results before the minister's endorsement. What does the text say in procedural and legal terms?
Let our state officials be honest because dishonesty consolidates the status quo of poverty and corruption in Cameroon.
Rexon,it is advisable that u do not scare contributors to the forum with ur hypabolic intellectual insanity.U seem not to be different from our crazy government. However let this event be the final test to our state's authority.

Papytex, i dont listen to any authority that does not tell the truth.Be it a state, an academic institution, a parent, etc. My own mother has been critical of my views here and i have stood by it without any fear. Even if she was managing La Republique, i would still have stood by my critique of her views and actions.

I seemingly dont think the essense of being a student is to listen. You should listen and be able to contribute your own ideas. My students/clients sometimes tells me my calculations are wrong and i take no offense to it esspecially when they can provide contrasting methodologies and opinions that seems logical. If your teacher teaches you something that is not right, you should also have the authority to tell him his ideas are wrong and present your own opinions and contrary views (Your evidences can come from seminal literatures in the area).

Endale,

Please I will urge you to avoid writing in the pigin language otherwise this site might lose her credibibilty and respect.

Big Joe,
Its makes absolutely no sense for you to ask the students to request for the resignation of Ngoh, Lambi or the minister of higher education as an additional justification for their strike action.

Rexon,
I have no intention to ridicule any one on this site nor write in favour of the present government. If you had been keen at reading my comments, I had already acknowledged the fact that our government is a bad government and on no account will I ever support the activities of the existing government because I find the government to be a currupt one. I just have the fashion of writing from a neutralist point of view based on available information. I was writing based on the information I got from your comment but if you feel that I misundertood the simple and clear english that you wrote, then I account for the error.

rexon

Tabi Sweden,

Thanks for your ideas. Asking for someone's resignation in a situation like these does not amount to asking for additional justification for the strike action. It is instead the other way round. Staying in a position like these after all these open lies and abuses provides justification for the strike action. These people (If they were u, i suppose) could have resigned before anybody even asked.

They have openly LIED to us before and after these guys were slained to justify certain ills, which is a bigger crime than anything else.

"These demonstrations – which continued at night when an assorted group of individuals armed with guns and clubs attacked a police station – ended in the death of two of the assailants and injuries sustained by the law enforcement officers".

THose are the words of the prime minister.

1. But then casualities could only be two students. Which means the police station they attacked where ever had no policemen or that the group of guys who attacked the police station did so but then could not shoot the always drun Cameroon police but pointed their guns to their strike mates.....
How do we justify and reconcile this statement. Who killed who? Police/forces or Law and order as they may be called sent to maintained order by killing??

2. The strike by students of the university of buea all started on Monday Nov. 27th, the story was broken by both local and international media (Reuters) but the only nationa state run daily Cameroon tribune only mentioned of any strike action in Buea/Cameroon five days after. What have they been doing?? A media that is ever happy to announce death and lies/communiques.

3. Everything has been directed to the minister of higher education and his associates. The same people who brought the standoff and scandal; where are we heading.

People may not like or believe this: I was in Cameroon less than a month ago and seeming the country is in a verge to cratch. There is tension and stress everywhere.

Just a week ago, the Prime minister sent raduates to the farms, 4 days alter he assigned his forces to kill students who were decrying examination fraud, after another four days he makes another flaw......the arm students ( as he said a group of armed people; students who were striking have all of a sudden become a group of people armed with guns and whatever. Where are we heading??? Chasing Ernest Ouandie??

Its really pathetic to see the prime minister without any message of condolences to parents of the berieved family openly sign a long sentence in the name of a communique asking for calmness; 3.5 days after everythuing started. Where was he to call for calm?

When students were killed in the last strike it was alledged it was the then Governor, this time around the governor daid nothing, Njeuma is not there, Agbor Tabi started it all. This is what happned!!!!

When the students started protesting cos some names have been added to a lsit of successful candidates,

This is what Prof. Peter Agbor Tabi had to say "If you are protesting cos the number in the lsit has been increased to 156, then if we want we can as well increase it to 1000. That was the most remote cause of the explosion. He then called on their killer forces who have never been ableto stop armed robbery but can shoot and kill protesting students to come and continue their killer. A similar thing he did when he was chancellor of University of Yaounde I in the early 90s with his comrades, Owona and Kontchou.

Am sure Mr Inoni, you will have to go and attend those lectures in Buea.

Ma Mary,
Thanks for the links to civil disobedience. I am for non violence as well. Even H D Thoreau acknowleges that the founder of non violence is Christ. Here I quote him: `Non violence is not a symbol of cowardice but as Jesus demonstrated, it breeds courage in the face of danger´. Our goverment claims to lead a nation with a constitution based on Godly principles. why then should they open fire on unarmed students and frame up a different story. Moses demonstrated non violently in Egypt and God killed the Egyptians for him. Daniel did that as well in Babylon and Nebuchanezar wept at the results. I say this because as human beings, it is sometimes very difficult to keep our tempers from flaring especially with regards to the current situation. This government is the pillar axis of global evil. Every of its kingpin is doing its best to consolidate thier greedy positions. Inoni, I thought u were an accountant and given ur current pm position, u can still abide to ur professional ethics that dismisses all aspects of lies telling. U carefully sign this communique and waive aside the dead of this innocent kids. Inoni look at their date of births. 1984. you should be scared to tell lies like a child. where is cameroon heading to?

Kappo,
Thanks for your previous postings. we needed people like you to relate our current standings to the holy book. it is worthwile brother. some will try to fight you down in this forum but I call on you not to give up. Keep the faith and we shall win the fight. Posterity shall judge us all. I am ashame of my nationality where I am. Really.

Ricardo,
You come up to add salt to wounds. what do you think you are mister. DO u really enjoy subjugation of an unprotected minority. Why do you chose to provoke us even to the level of extermination? Ricardo watch your mouth. It is easy to say anything but difficult to bear the responsibilities young man.

Samleyin - It is for parents now to conduct non-violent resistance massively. It was Watesih who suggested some very good ideas and I propose that he posts them again and again. They might take root somewhere.

The parents did that during the GCE crisis. Give it a symbol such as black or or yellow armbands or headbands. Things have happened so suddenly giving people little time to organise but it could yet happen. We will then give the process maximum exposure.

Hello Country people. Can someone in this forum tell if Cameroon as a nation in general has what we call Parties in the Opposition wing? What do they stand for? For the Cameroonian youths or against the Cameroonian youths? If for where are they? Ever since Institutions of Higher learning in our (Beti) beseige country have had problems like the current one going on in UB, I've not heard nor read any statement from a Political figure in Cameroon. Or they do speak up but the media back off from publishing? Ladies and gentle men, why will it be only in Cameroon that politicians turn a blind eye on the atrocities committed by the Government in power towards students. It is unbelievable that arm forces of Lawless Cameroon are preying or perfecting theirs skills with true bullets on innocent youths who are fighting what the opposition is suppose to be fighting (corruption) and not a single lame dog Politician will offer a comment against. Brothers and sisters let me know, they could be speaking on medias which i'm not open to.

Again one highlight. The Prime Minister in his comment portray the striking students as being against the admission of French speaking students into the Medical school of UB. Brothers and sisters, even if it was the case it wouldn't be the first time. I was a victime during the academic year 1996 discriminatory addmission into UniYao I. This was during the reign of Jean Messi. Fellow citizens, this was the instance in which i noted the Administrators as being very switch and efficient in reimbursting funds initially paid into the University bank account. It all started when Students from the South West, North West and Western provinces found their hopes for higher education squandered. Trying to push further to know the real cause why their names wasn't on the admission list, they where answered "allez dans vos universitaire". Direct meaning go and attend universities in your respective provinces. If anyone can bear with me, a receipt showing the initail payment of the first installment was part of the admission application package. Thing could've change now. Unfortunately when the final list of students admitted into UniYao I for that academic year was published my name and fellow Cameroonians from the South West, North West and Western provinces wasn't on the list. In the seek of trying to know why, the Rector Jean Messi said "allez dans vos universitaires. Again we asked "est l'argent payee"? On va vous reimburser. Two days later Jean Messi's agent started the effective reimbursement of money we had paid as fees. A group of students amongst which i was the single student who could speak and write English petitioned the Prime Ministers Office at the time Peter Mafany was the Prime Minister. His Adviver in charge of Higher Education granted us audience. We all laid our grievances. Luckily The Prime Minister forced Jean Messi through the Higher Education Minister to reverse his decision, and fellow citizens you know what, others (because I had made up my mind to stay home for the rest of the year) where granted a place to study in a higher Institution in their country. So my question is can the current Prime Minister stand up against this corrupt practice originating from the Ministry of Higher Education? I doubt because He has drawn conclusions before asking for a lame dog investigation. They know cameroon is a country where the Opposition is so self-centered that they seek to fill their stomach at the expense of poor citizens whom they claim to represent.

Destiny delayed is not destiny denied. Mr Prime Minister i have this for you for, "be happy to those you meet on your way up because they are the same people you'll see on your way down".

What really irks me about the whole show are the actions of these policemen or were they gendarmes? What do these policemen do all year-round? They sit around, lazing about all day doing nothing, or when they do do something, it entails walking around collecting bribes and harassing poor Cameroonians. As someone metioned, if it is to go after armed robbers, they won't. I remember in Douala, when armed robbers were nearly being lynched on the streets, policemen will arrive on the scene, disperse the crowd and take the armed robbers to the police station, after which we'll only hear that those same armed robbers have been discharged and left to go home (probably after these corrupt officals have collected bribes). Now in the face of unarmed students, they have the temerity to shoot at them at point blank range. This is just so disgusting I am left speechless. The policemen involved and whoever gave the go-ahead to shoot should be dealt with accordingly. But knowing Cameroon ... Oh how my heart bleeds.
As for that Agbortabi fellow, I don't even know why he was allowed to leave the campus unharmed after all the insults he threw at the students. The least the students could have done was to have held him hostage. And he had the guts to say if they wanted the list could have been increased to 1000 names. That guy needs a severe beating. Utter nonsense! In short, I am just tongue-tied. What a mess!

Fritzane Kiki HK

There is nothing so sad and touching like the above death students who just left the world suddenly.I strongly believe this is where we need the opposition parties like the SDF,UNDP,UPC and even the SCNC who are for the last years been adamant and reluctant to question the government on unaccounted for corruption practices within government and staunch CPDM officials.I dont think opposition should be only in words and in elections. These are boiling the issues they should call for the international community to join and ask for explanation for these mess rocking public exams.

We all know the government and it stooges of the CPDM have always been the main masterminders of corruption.Day-in-day-out we hear of ministers and directors embezzling billions of francs CFA alone to the detriment of the masses.Corruption is corruption.I guess these administrative frauds and examination malpractices should be equally punishable by thesame law and penal code like their counterparts who embezzles.A thief is a thief.

If the government accepts that there was something foggery going on with the list of those medical students, then they should set an enquiry tracking down those suspects who manipulated over the list, than calling on their batallion insurgents to shoot and kill the striking students.Clear example of human right abuse plaguing the La Republique. The implore students to continue their strike action until the government provides appropriate explanation and answers while providing preventive measures in the future to curb this recurrent examination fraud.

I DON'T BLAME THE STUDENTS, I DON'T BLAME THE GOVERNMENT, I DON'T BLAME THE POLICEMEN!

I blame Rexon, I blame Pah Ngemus, I blame ValleyBessong, I blame Watesih, I blame Ma mary, I blame all of you've taken this forum as a medium to free our suffering fellow Southern Cameroonians most at this point in time. You all know it wouldn't work here. You all know where the solution to this problem of neocolonialism is, yet you sit comfortably on your keyboards and SING civil disobedience in theory.

Some of you say we should stop sending emails left and right. Civil disobedience needs somuch awareness and publicity and courage. How do we do that? We can't expose it on this forum. If some of you should know a .... year development plan I've you'll start singing AMEN.

This strike action has really called for concern. I'm glad about that cos so many people were stroke on their nerves. Let's use it as a constant reminder to let us work very fast but skillfully. Let's say they've won this time around cos I hear that the strike action is calm and the students have succumbed to pressure...and the UB campus has been transformed into a military camp and they've been adviced to "tirer" any still or moving object tomorrow monday. You'll get them saying that "classes have resumed in the University of Buea...bla bla bla, on their CRTV".

Anger alone when I read what you guys keep REPEATING here wouldn't let me express myself nicely.

"If wona know the way i don vex?"...the more reason why I haven't made a comment since Friday.

The earlier we map out a strategy that'll free us once and for all, the better. In ma present project....NO VIOLENCE. You'd like to share with me.

...And Ma Mary...if you look at the situation in Cameroon more closely you'll realise that Civil disobedience must always be met with harsh and brutal reactions from the governemnt and treachery from our own brothers. So to say it can't be free of violence.

..."Those who profess to favor freedom, yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will." – Frederick Douglass, African-American abolitionist.

FALLEN SCNC PATRIOT: Pa Philip Tete

The entire SCNC liberation movement has once more been severely shattered with the news of the demise of Pa Philip Tete, one of the pillars of the organization, who died on 28th November 2006 in Bome, Momo County.

Late Philip Tete (70), was arbitrarily arrested in Bome alongside with his wife, two sons and a brother in March 1997 on a trumped up charges that they were involved in the stage-managed northwest terrorist activities which supposedly took place at Jakiri.

Late Tete was severely tortured into unconsciousness, injected with poisonous chemicals and later thrown behind a gendarme military vehicle and then transported to Bamenda for incarceration under the instruction of a local M.P. one Mr Fombi, acting as agent and collaborator with the annexationist neo-colonial administration of la Republique du Cameroun.

Philip Tete and other SCNC activists who were arbitrarily arrested at different locations of the North West Province during the so-called “terrorist activities” were eventually transferred from Southern Cameroons to Yaounde where they faced Kangaroo Justice using alien laws and language. Sentences ranging from 8 years to life jail were slammed on them. Pa Tete Philip who got a 10-year imprisonment sentence and other activists served their sentences in the Kondengui, Yaounde Maximum Security Prison, where they were held under very harsh and inhumane conditions, resulting in the death of most of the detainees in a silent genocide orchestrated by the Yaounde annexationists

Upon appeal, the SCNC prisoners of conscience were transferred to the Bamenda Central Prison and Buea in 2006 to complete their jail terms.

While in the Bamenda Central Prison, late Philip Tete who was a sickly as a result of his torture and harsh treatment collapsed early August 2006. He was later referred to the General Hospital Bamenda, where he received treatment and then returned to Prison again to continue to serve his remaining jail term.

While his health conditions deterrioted, late Tete was taken back to the Bamenda General Hospital where he was referred elsewhere for specialist attention. But this was turned down by the Prison authorities for inexplicable reasons.

What is puzzling and leaves many unanswered questions is why the same prison authorities were quick to discharge and take him home when his health hadn’t improved at all.

While back in Bome, Pa Tete’s health failed and he succumbed to death on 28/11/06 at 5:a.m.

Before his death, Pa Tete looked forward to seeing the liberation of Southern Cameroons after his release, which was due in March 2007. But death, out short his dreams and visions of Southern Cameroons.

Late Philip Tete, always talked about the justice of the SCNC cause and awaited with great anxiety, the outcome of the Nov/Dec. session of the ACHPR, which was expected to give a ruling on the Southern Cameroons Vs la Republique du Cameroun case.

We seize this opportunity to remember all other fallen martyrs of the SCNC struggle who have died in the course of 2006. They include Hon. P. P. Nkweti of Ngoketunjia County and Nchadze Henry of Bui County both of who died as a result of torture in arbitrary detention and Thaddeus Nungo of Menchum County.

We appeal to all SCNC activists and supporters to hold steadfast to the ideals and principles of the struggle for liberation of our nation from the wolves and vampires of la Republique du Cameroun. With conviction and faith we shall overcome. Our right to self-determination is non-negotiable and nobody shall deprive us from attaining that cherished goal.

The SCNC calls on its adherents and supporters at home and in the Diaspora to give late Pa Tete a befitting burial.

We urge the UN Human Rights Council currently in session in Geneva to take necessary measures to sanction la Republique du Cameroun for its gross human rights abuses, which have deprived many Southern Cameroonians of their inalienable right to life, liberty and human dignity.

Done in Bamenda this 29th Day of November 2006.

Ma Mary

Hello Akoson. I would like to talk to you one and one, but it is not proper procedure to exchange email addresses in an open forum like this one.

Ma Mary

I might have something to contribute as a veteran of many student actions over the years. There are times when student actions even when just detract rather than advance a cause. There are certain strengths and certain liabilities of being a student, and student actors are not always aware of those. There is always something to learn from those who have been down the same road. Never assume that what you are facing is something new under the sun.

I'll say no more until a tete a tete could be facilated.

rexon

Akoson,

After a careful review of the current events and the ideas i have got from different angles, i have decided to review my strategy.

rexon

The gruesome murder and torture of fellow Southern Cameroonian(SC) students commenced on Monday, the 27th November,2006. This was due to the following political scandal from the occupied master: La republic du cameroun(LRC) on our fellow citizens.

1. The government created medical schools in Douala(LRC) and Buea(SC). Entrance examinations were written in all the above centres.

2.Only two SCs were selected eventhough many SCs passed the entrance, while the rest were from LRC, in Douala. The setting of this examination in the various centres was based on the language used. That is English in SC and French in LRC.

3.Of the 800 students who sat on the entrance examination into the medical school in Buea University, only 127 passed, all hailing from Southern Cameroons. The first la republique du camerounian student took the 600th position. It should be noted that the exam in Buea was set by the Cameroon General Certificate of Education (G.C.E) Board marked using the computerise system, since they were structural questions.

4.The list of successful candidates was handed over to the Vice Chancellor(V.C) for endorsement and later published.

5.After the V.C approval, all successful candidates were happy and awaing for orals since only 60 students were needed.
Unfortunately, the Minister of Higher Education rejected the list on grounds that the list suppose to be sent to him for approval. It should also be noted that the Minister did not reject the list from Douala for the same exam.

6.Thereafter, a document was faxed to the V.C's office from the Minister to include 26 names, all being students from la republique especially the President's tribe(Eton,Beti & Ewondo), who did not sit in for the said examination.

7.It should be recalled that only 60 students were needed to become the first batch of prospective medical doctors and if 26 of these students were included, the chances of
of Southern Cameroonian students will be 34 out of 60.

8. The students for the collective interest of their colleagues who succeeded, asked the V.C to tell the Minister to annul the illegal list, but to no avail.

9.Then the students called in for a peaceful strike, that is, domonstrating their grievances on the school campus. They started shouting: No to corrupt!, No to bribery! They wrote placards carrying messages such as: Anglosaxon Universities are not corrupt; Yaounde should not corrupt our University and a lot of others.

10. This move was to shun corruption in univesities and allow meritocracy to prevail.

11. President Paul Biya , a colonial master of Southern Cameroons sent his secret agents en civile to monitor the gravity of the strike and give him feedback. This act was to disrupt any move for the strike.

12. The students were on campus from the 27-28 but later forced out of campus when the Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Agbor Tabi told them that they should go to hell or to any organisation(s) and report. That they(students) can not change the system that has been put in place. He told them that he would call his guys(police) to disperse them.

13. The Honourable Governor of the South West Province, Eyaya Zanga Louis, from the President's clan(Beti,Ewondo,& Eton) said this was a positive corruption because the students(from LRC) would have jobs at the end of the programme.

14. On the night of 29th November, 2006, two(2) students were shot dead while the following day another student accompanied others to paradise, making three deaths. An old mother of above 70years was murdered by a stray bullet. A taxi driver who took a hairdresser to the hospital was also killed by a policeman.

15. The following people were killed by agents of la republique du cameroun:
a) Hilary Muebe( was shot at the head) from the department of Economics.
b) Ivo Obia Ngemba( shot at the mouth) from the same department.
c) Ngundam Terence Ndeh( shot on the stomarch)was reportedly dead after a day.
d) A stray bullet killed a mother who was above
70years and
e) the taxi driver above,

16. In the cause of fleeing for safety, six students died in a terrible bus accident on their way to Bamenda whose names were not yet known. This recorded eleven deaths as of now.Ms Mbianda Laura( a
hairdresser) was shot at the neck in her saloon and Clerence Nkentah(student) whose stomarch was scraped by a bullet are currently receiving treatment assisted by Lord Mayor of Buea, at the Provincial Hospital Annex.
Other victims of this raid were found in nearby clinics receiving treatment. The mayor in the cause of carrying a corpse to the mortuary was shot thrice but escaped with the corpse to the hospital.

17.Many people who were not students were molested and properties looted as the case in the bus park at 17 mile,Molyko and Bomaka(a nearby village from Buea).

18. It should be noted that the parents of
francophone students called their children home and none of them participated in the strike.

19. The soldiers of la republique du cameroun were rejoicing and singing" On a gagner!!!"meaning "we have won" after majority of the students flee for safety. They also said "les prisonniers, entrez dans la maison" meaning prisoners go to your home. The soldierswere using live bullet, explosives and tear gas. They were beating everybody in the quaters.

20. After fierce confrontation between the police and students whose weapon were stones, the executive of the Southern Cameroons National Council(SCNC) called a security officer whose name is withheld, that the strike was no longer the students affair but between anglophone and froncophones. That whenever there was a strike, la republique use live bullet on us but in their territory none of that was used. That we have called all Southern Cameroonians to fight against injustices and gruesome murder of our citizens. That we were ready to face any odds to remove oppressors from our land.

21. The Yaounde regime was immediately informed and within an hour soldiers who were sent from Douala and Yaounde were retreating to their various destinations.

Ma Mary

Please clarify. Was the Mayor shot or "shot at" three times? If the mayor was shot three times, he would be very sick or dead. If he was shot at, perhapst they missed, and he would be considered a very lucky man.

rexon

The Mayor was "Shot at". He was'nt shot. Nobody is praying for his death, but as we all know, he is a colonial agent.

Tekum Mbeng

Rexon,

Again where is the Opposition spokesperson for the Higher Education?

Now Younde cannot hide the truth. This crisis needs a critical analysis to establish the facts.

Tekum Mbeng

Inoni's response is a lame effort to protect his own position. That is the problem when vain chiefs are appointed into positions of power. At the end of the day, Inoni knows the truth- that truth is too bitter.

Che Sunday

Professor Lambi is doing the right thing. He is a respected academician whose skills can be marketed anywhere in the world. He can not change the system. Fighting to stay will be breaking bread with the devil.
To the likes of the Prime Minister, I say "screw you." He probably does not have any of his offsprings studying in Cameroon. His so called communonique is written and handed to him by those running security concerns in the country.
I just read an e-mail narative in which the police were chanting that they have won. Not even an animal will kill defenceless civilians and rejoice.
Just an after thought, may be we would have been better off having a protracted war with Nigeria for a lengthy period of time so a lot of these monsters will be killed and we will not have to deal with them anymore.

Che Sunday,

Thanks a million for positively appreciating Lambi's role. It seems difficult to understand, but he did the right thing. The regime has been trying to force him to twist the truth and tell lies. That has forced him into flip-flopping. I have been communicating with a lot of freedom fighters on the grounds of the Southern Cameroons. La Republiques junta is using the media now to make this whole mess a North/South West issue. They are trying to say that the Bamenda people (Lambi and Akenji) were trying to eliminate francophones from UB's medical school and that part of the examination was also written in Yaounde where the 26 passers came from. But the question is, why was'nt the examination for Douala University's medical school also conducted in Buea for Anglophones or say Yaounde? Cheap Lies and only fools can listen to this groups of people. They have proven beyond reasonable doubts that they are just a bunch of idiots.

Tekum Mbeng,

There is absolutely no true opposition in La Republique du Cameroon. All we have there are handclappers in the name of parliamentarians most of whom dine with henchmen of the regime in hiding. The opposition themselves knows that.

Che Sunday

Ma Mary,
Remember, non violence on its own will take you nowhere. The ANC did not win in South Africa because the West started falling in love with Mandela. It crumbled only after the military unit of the system started getting support from some white sympathizers. That was the avenue which aparthied could be infiltrated. Martin Lurther King did not win in the USA without the likes of Huey Lewis and the Black Panthers. Christ had super natural powers and was already guaranteed a place in Heaven. He passed some of those powers onto his disciples.
You all know my stance of this on our relationship with our French brothers to use the word loosely. I will not stand to see us go into any relationship where we play second fiddle to anyone anymore. This is my fighting cry. We have to stop producing matyres. Only when there is a counter balancing force will Etoundi negotiate with you on equal basis. I am still waiting for Inoni to also step down. That will send a signal to Yaounde that we will not be sending another ass kissing anglo to Yaounde to serve as a mouth-piece to the system. The stakes have gotten high enough for everyone to offer a sacrfice. Mr. Prime Minister, we call on you to approach the alter of sacrifice. Hand in your resignation.

Kumbaboy

Rarely does one see Dr Che Sunday in a fighting mood. Inoni should truly act with dignity and resign.

Absolutely, Prof Lambi should not apologize again. It is not up to any Minister to determine who gets admission into a medical school. It is the candidate's own ability in a competitive exam that must matter. This is not recruitment into ENAM - Ahidjo's national academy for corruption.

The students to UB Med. School will pay fees and there is no guarantee of employment upon graduation. The Cameroon People simply want the best minds trained as medical doctors because it is a challenging program requiring top-notched abilities.

In fact, there should be no interviews. There should be a waiting list of say 6 students, in order of merit, to take the place of any vacancies not filled in the first week. That is fair play.

The doctrine of non-violence has its limitations and benefits. With a Francophone Governor and Francophone SDO in Buea, we have a region under siege by the annexationist.

Ma Mary

Che Sunday, you surprise me. Are you THE SAME Che Sunday? If you are, what a delight. I still do not support students confronting armed cowards with rocks. They should use their thinking caps, anticipate, plan ahead.

Ma Mary

My dear people. Do not be naive; do not be uncharitable. All Southern Cameroonians in elevated positions of responsibility in la Republique are biyastitutes and anglofowls. Those are my terms of contempt. When people start going down the road of Nyambi is better than Njeuma and vise versa (to give one example), it is disingenious and fails the fairness test. It smacks of tribalism, which is a no go. If there are any doubts that Lambi is also a biyastitute and anglofowl, observe his responses so far. He has not resigned in disgust. He has caved in to the Afrogs and backtracked from a fair position.

This is where I come down on the biyastitutes and anglofowls. They are trying to survive. That is the majority of human beings. Most of them know what is true, but it does make them angry enough to put everything on the line to leave the country or to fight back. Catch them alone and off the record, and they would confess that the arrangement is hopeless and Southern Cameroons must prevail. I would not excuse biyastitution and anglofowlhood, but these people eventually have skills to offer Southern Cameroons. So they have to be handled well.

There are four points of weakness that cause people to cave in and become biyastitutes. They are the four Ps.

1) POUNDS - as in money. Money, greed. Somebody who does any and everything for money is loved by la republique because his price is set already.

2) PUSSY - as in sex, both homosexual and heterosexual. Prostitution and biyastitution, two sides of the same coin.

3) POWER - some people just go mad with the stuff. It is like cocaine and an orgasm rolled into one for some fellows. This agbor tabi chap sounds like one of those power-crazed fellows. The way Inoni proceeds from here could intoxicate him with fake power.

4) PERSON - Most people cooperate with the oppressor so that their person may survive, as well as the persons of family and others who matter to them. This number 4 is the least of the failings that make someone an anglofowl biyastitute.

There we go now, the 4Ps. A pure fighter cannot be manipulated with the Ps because he or she has taken an oath to his or her God and ancestors and put his or her life as forfeit. Such people exist in the Southern Cameroons and episodes such as this outrage in UB increases their number. The occupier has no such people. That is why they must pack and go. We shall drive them out and become much greater than they are. I promise them that.

rexon

Akoson,

Some here say they are neutral, how can a rat be neutral infront of a cat? The Swedes have always been neutral in most major wars, but at the end, they have always been profitting from arms sales.

Lets design a strategy that is based on rational thinking. I can preach Civil Disobedience in this keyboard if that is the Language that a significant Southern Cameroonians want to hear here and practice another thing. If what i practice targets the enemy and does not in any way destroy the aspirations of our Southern Cameroonian struggle, i will still succeed.

In politics of la republique, i have learnt to preach what people like and practice what i think can lead me to success. So to say, if people here want to hear "civil disobedience", we can preach that to them, but we can also practice what we think is ok. Note that if we want to succeed, we should not only go to war with La Republique. The Iraqi's have not gone to war with the Americans but they are trapped there with no way to leave.

La Republique has declared war and they will not have a route to run out of the Southern Cameroons in the near future. Wait and see.

Akoson

Ma Mary,

Klemenceau-Shalom

Hey Akoson and my dear comrades, I wish to remind you guys that the devil is always very smart. So as we receive and send emails, we should be very vigilant. Agents of la Republic are hanging around and ready to fake names and send emails to you pretending to be one of us.
So we must think twice and know the person to whom you will talk details about the “Ambazonian” plans.
We know some of these agents in this forum. They seem to have disappeared because they no longer use their real names. But we know they are around in disguise.
Some of them claimed to be patriotic Southern Cameroonians /Cameroonians. But they are quick to write when it only concerns the people they hate. They do so because they are paid to redicule some specific individuals. When we said they are agents of la Republic, some people didn't listen to us. Who wants to know why they no longer write here? My brother Akoson can tell us what is happening to those praise singers and fiction writers.

I am still a little patient about the silence of the opposition parties. I look forward to hearing a statement from the opposition especially our beloved party the SDF in reaction to this murder of Southern Cameroon students. I hope the chairman has spoken or will soon speak against the killing of Anglophone students. I know he has always spoken and that he will speak but it shouldn't be late. Strike the iron when it is hot. Let the shadow ministers also react to this gruesome murder of Southern Cameroonians.
Some may be taking it lightly but let's ask ourselves how many times the forces of “lawlessness and disorder of la Republic” have opened fire to striking students in Yaoundé 1, Soa, Ngaoundere or Douala. How many times have students strike in Yaoundé 1 and destroyed properties? Have these drunken forces ever opened fire on any student? Why is it that they always open fire when it concerns Bamenda & Buea?
Shalom
Klemenceau

Kumbaya

I want to ask you guys to watch-out as concerns emails and peoples names. I know our Government very well and what they are up to. The principles of divide and rule is still their weapon. These guys know how to isolate cases and deal with them properly. So When you give a persons name besure to hear something dreadful happening to him. Thank God you are making use of codes. What is my idea? Do not put any life in danger again at this juncture because numbers are needed in this so called war. We will not wish to have some key figures eliminated. So watch out.

BIG MOP for Nothing.

Yes, people will speak and claim to be prohets. Big Mop for nothing, What will you say here that has not been heard? There are certain words and phrases that will come up here all the time. But is life just telling people how some other person is bad? We should be constructive not destructive as many people on this site seem to be, we need a constructive argument to educate others not only on the political front but on other fronts. I am sure we do not sit infromt of the computers waiting for bad news to come in, so that we can start writing.

Kappo

Excuse me Nforminde, this in response to you last posted message on the topic two stdents shot dead
lets clarify your ignorance. We are not hear to fight against the Francophones. We are here to declare that the Francophones are waging a war of oppression against us at all levels. this is getting too much. I am sure it will soon be a genocide. Our socalled brothers dont seem to have a concience. Nforminde you only clain to be Anglophone but you probably have never had the Anglophone experience. Have you ever gone to any ministry there in Yaounde and pretended not to know how to speak French. Then you would understand that the Anglophone is considered a secondclass Citizen in this Nation. That is why your brothers are bent to bring in Stomarch Politics to destroy our prestigious Alma Matter, UB a place to be. I percieve that you understand nothing about the precolonial History of this nation at all. You equally do not understand what happened at before , during and after the Fumban Conference. You know nothing about the politics of the PLEBICIT so when intelectuals talk it would be better for ignorant people to sit quiet esle you expose your ignorance. Only he that wears a shoe knows where it pinches. You have just had anglophone education and have fallen in love with the System. What do you think of us who have been in the Anglophone culture since birth. Do yopu think that we would sit and watch the corrupt both anglophone and Francophones destroy our treasures. Nforminde enough is enough with all this mess. You better give a second thought to you words and make more research about what you say.

rexon

Kappo,

You have very fine ideas and always stand for he truth. You are really God given to this forum.

Spako

Hey Folks,

Its a pity that we get our brothers and sisters killed in Buea while the sons and daughters of Government Ministers still dine with us . If we hit them as well, their parents will feel the pinch.
No one has got monopoly to kill and maim. We too can kill their children. There are many of them living off the taxes of our parents in Europe and America. We know them. It did not cross my mind until this last incident in Buea that we can target their children as well. They might not be responsible for the atrocities of their parents but if we cannot get 'Mami goat' we strike the 'Pikin goat'. I am not asking anyone to join me in this one. I will be solely responsible for my acts. I donot have the courage to kill in cold blood but there are many out there that I know who can do it. Its their job.
Wherever you are and see these children, please do something to harm them as well. Their Parents are killing our own very brothers and sisters and our children.
This is the lowest point in my life but as a parent, I feel totally complecent if I sit and fold my arms. What if it were my child. God forbide.

rexon

Spako,

Their prime Minister wrote a long mundane communique without offering one single message of condolence to the bereaved families. Then some say we should listen to such wicked people and appluad them. That is really a shame. Read some comments above, their children have rushed here to counter comment, pretending to be freedom fighters without condeming the act.

You really make me go down on tears. This is the first time i am hearing something like this from a peaceful person like u. We have all been tempted like you to think so. When i saw these pictures, i wept, and asked friends, if i would have been killed like these, what would my family have felt. Sorrow all through? It traumatises us when we see such pictures, but it does'nt traumatises their children.

On a serious note. Somebody gave us a suggestion on how to deal with this traitors. Get their names and make a case against them in Washington, the Hague, Amnesty International and so on. I don't know how feasible this is but I am somehow convinced that it could be something that will work. My suggestion is, what do we need here to do this? One of those suggestions is to get them monitored, OK with that. We can monitor their moves and tell you what air-service they will be using and which country they are heading to. We have our ears in all the embassies located in Cameroon. What next do we need. I think we want to have one in within this month as the holidays are coming. I am very certain they will be going to spend what they got as booty overseas. Please make us get the ideas and we'll assist in our own meagre way to set-out an example as this issue is still fresh in our minds.

UNIVERSITY OF BUEA: STRIKE, REPRESSIONS AND CASUALITIES

The Social Democratic Front (SDF) has learnt, with consternation, that following a brutal intervention of the forces of law and order to repress a strike in the University of Buea where four (04) students have been killed and several others injured. All these happened because the Minister of Higher Education increased admission from 127 to 153 with candidates who neither sat nor passed the competitive entrance examination into the new Faculty of Medicine recently created and authorized to open this academic year like in the sister university of Douala. In protest to this injustice, Buea students decided to stage a non-violent strike.

Instead of taking all the necessary time to listen to the complaints as it would have been the case elsewhere in the civilised world, the government, as usual, opted to provoke violence by using live bullets on the protesting students. It is pitiable that this nascent institute for health has to be inaugurated this way with blood and death.

The manipulation of exam results is the favourite game of cronies of the New Deal regime who all want to build up a dynasty. The entrance examinations into the Police School in Mutengene and that of ENAM were in like manner controversial, and the regime seeks to pull its strength and longevity from corruption, frauds, embezzlements and mismanagements of all sorts!

Universities are institutions where the future of a Nation is shaped; where democracy, contradictory debate, dialogue and tolerance are cultivated, and not a crucible where authoritative regimes cultivate totalitarianism, experiment violence and murder people’s hopes. Dialogue of live bullets and tear gas, causing deaths and injuries is a recurrent scenario in our State Universities whereas we know that any investigations ordered to this effect will result to a “Zero Morts” declaration.

The SDF is behind the entire student community and parents who mourn. The SDF vehemently condemns the interference in the university admissions procedure of corrupt CPDM politicians on local and national examinations. The Biya regime is called upon to stop forthwith:
1) the violation of campuses and schools by the forces of law and order;
2) the use of live bullets and brutality in the maintenance of law and order;
3) the destruction of university properties and the threatening of teachers and students alike in times of crises;
4) the appointments of people without moral and intellectual integrity to head our academic institutions as was in the case of AGBOR TABI, KONTCHOU, etc.

The SDF disassociates itself from all forms of violence against our pupils and students and stands by these latter, as long as their claims and their actions are pacific. This is why the SDF urgently calls on the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Cornelius LAMBI who has already admitted committing and administrative error and his whole hierarchy who falsified the results to draw the consequences of their acts and resign from their various appointed positions.

Kappo

Please Rexon and Spako and other folks,
Can you help me to check out this rumor?
I hear that Lambi on interview in radio Buea said given the crises, they proposed to the minister of higher education to close down the University of Buea a place to be for some time. And that he said that the minister in his wisdom said it would be a politically unwise idea. Please I want to know if suh men can say such things truely or its just a fake runour. I dont want to believe that these guys would go up to the extent of wishing that the governement should close down UB. Are you not sure that this iossue is a planned affair?
Please I really need to hear from all of you.

MR PHILIP ALSTON,
SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR ON
EXTRAJUDICIAL, SUMMARY OR ARBITRARY EXECUTIONS,
OHCHR,
GENEVA,

The Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC) on behalf of the Southern Cameroonian mothers, widows, orphans and youths who live in perpetual argony strongly condemn the persistent and systematic murdering of their children, husbands and fathers on flimsy excuses. On condemning the systematic and flagrant violation of the human and peoples' rights we petition and call on the UN Human Rights Council, currently holding its third session in Geneva, to urgently INTERVENE in the Southern Cameroons conflict with la Republique du Cameroun before another Palestine episode is inevitably born in West Africa.

The PROBLEM- Southern Cameroonians are consistently forced to bury their loved ones consequent upon the brutal and murderous bullets of the occupation and repressive forces of la Republique du Cameroun.

Treated as a conquered people and deprived of their inalienable right to freedom of assembly, opinion, expression, peaceful protest, even of the right to wear a T-shirt with the inscription "Southern Cameroons," they are arbitrarily arrested, tortured, kidnapped and detained in la Republique maximum security prisons where they frequently fall victim of extrajudicial and summary executions.

Between October and November 2006 Henry Nchadze and Philip Tete have died in prison. They are victims of prolonged torture, tauma, lack of medical attention when sick and gross neglect. Held under inhuman and degrading conditions and denied dueprocess of the law, their appeals have been pending for too long. They were subjected to slow death. Henry and Philip Tete, committed defenders of Southern Cameroons freedom and right to self-determination, have only joined Daniel Ndifon, George Shirnyuy, Mathew Titahonjio, Hon. P. P. Nkwenti, among others, who went before. Yet the UN and the democratic world watches on in legendary silence. But for how long?

While the prison system is the extablished axe for silent genocide, the Buea University has become the slaughter house of the Southern Cameroonian youth. The occupier of our land being not contented with denying the Southern Cameroonian youths of their inalianable right to freedom, justice, equality, gainful employment and meaningful life in dignity, deprives them even of their limbs and GOD-given life which is sacred.

Last year when all state universities in the twoCameroons went on strike seeking improved conditions and amenities for conducive academic studies, in la Republique du Cameroun territory not even a student was detained or brutalised. In the Yaounde University of Soa, for example, the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Fame Ndongo was held hostage under rain. Yet it was all peaceful dialogue.

But in the University of Buea, Southern Cameroons, where the peaceful protest on the campus was manifest, troops were ferried in from la Republique du Cameroun to teach the "anglofools" an unforgettable lesson and the calm campus was transformed into a teatre of war. Two were killed, girls raped, many wounded, property destroyed and valuables looted. The result of the commission of inquiry is yet to be made public.

On Nov. 27, 2006 another peaceful strike for very legitimate reasons: protesting against the imposition of francophone students who did not writethe entrance nor pass the prescribed examination into the newly created Faculty of Medicine, University of Buea, once again invited the wrath of the repressive occupation forces. Troops were again ferried in and the consequence is the slaughter of five and many wounded. Some escaping for safety were involved in a motor accident and reports have it that six died. The casualty figure may still rise.

Those murdered are:
1) Hilary Muabe, Economics Student, shot in the head from the back
2) Ivo Obia Ngemba, Economics Student, shot in the mouth
(see pictures of the two attached).
Others whose names we got are:
3) Laura Mbianda
4) Ngundam Terence Ndeh
5) an old mother knocked down by a stray bullet.
All these premeditated and brutal killings took placeunder the direct supervision of the colonial proconsul, Governor Eyaya Zanga Louis, aided by:
1)the Legion Commander- Ngoty Eyoam
2)Assistant Legion Commander- Kamgo Lucas
3) Prefet for Fako- Bernard Okalia Balai
All these commanding officers are citizens of la Republique du Cameroun. What else than this can exemplify annexation and occupation of Southern Cameroons by la Republique du Cameroun? Southern Cameroons under British truteeship, half a century ago, was not even under such alien rule. British Southern Cameroons as from 1954 had an elected government, a parliament and civilised police who could not even as much as slap a tax defaulter. Blood shed was unknown.

But as a consequence of imperfect decolonisation that facilitated annexation and occupation, Southern Cameroons has been under the reign ofterror.

The Southern Cameroons conflict with la Republique du Cameroun is fast becoming explosive. Only one thing, namely, PROMPT POSITIVE INTERVENTION, can stop this fast deteriorating situation from giving birth to a Palestine in West Africa.

Sir, we petition the UN Human Rights Council to send you in your capacity as the Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary and Arbitrary Executions to lead a Fact Finding Mission to the Southern Cameroons to carry out thorough investigations into the grave consequences of the annexation and occupation of Southern Cameroons by la Republique du Cameroun.

The UN HumanRights Council should treat the Southern Cameroons Question in like manner as it is treating the Palestinian and Lebanese situation. La Republique du Cameroun propaganda should not be listened to. The British Southern Cameroons was never an integral part of French Cameroun under French Trusteeship nor was it at independence on January 1, 1960. By what instrument of international law then does la Republique du Cameroun exercise the sovereignty of the bullet over the former British Southern Cameroons? Southern Cameroonian youths are slaughtered like diseased cows because their fatherland, Southern Cameroons, is annexed and occupied.

Annexation and occupation constitute flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law. Cognisant of the grave danger it posses the UN has declared annexation a crime against humanity and a threat to world peace. We fervently believe it is this conviction and painful knowledge of its threat to worldpeace that has forced the UN Human Rights Council to devote special sessions to the Lebanese and Palestinian crises and the determination to find a lasting solution.

It is in this light that Southern Cameroonians plead that POSITIVE ACTION be taken now so that a new Palestine is not born in West Africa.

Done, in Geneva, this 2nd Day of December, 2006.

On behalf of the Southern Cameroonian people,

Atangha,

It would be wise for the SDF to contact the postnewsline to publish your SG's press release.

Kappo,

I will call home and get in touch if i get any comfirmatory information.

Kappo

Okay Rexon, I will be waiting to hear from you. Meanwhile I congratulate Atanga for that info. I am so encouraged about the community out there. We need UN intervention. Ngala Nfor is a Genuis. He has spoken our mind

Kumbaya

The International Community wants our people to be completely eradicated before it will come to our aid. This is not the first time we are crying out to them. The UN is aware of the plight of the people of English expression in this triangle. Our case is in their file, what else do want to know that before taking action. We don't have enough people to be massacred so that they describe the situation as a genocide. If there is anything to be given to the Southern Cameroonian, give it now.

Ongola-Iwondo

Trying to read between the lines, what the minister Fame Ndongo said is a bit funny. i.e
The results published by the VC Prof. Lambi Cornelius, originating from the North-West, and this before the jury held its meeting were as follows: Canditates originating from the
- North-West (like the Vice-Chancellor) = 78
- South-west = 39
- West (but all holders of the GCEAL, i.e., in fact it is said english-speaking of the West ) = 10
This is a total of 127 postulating candidates. Here is the distribution of the candidates according to the list of the Ministry of Higher education:
- Adamawa = 1
- Center = 6
- Extreme North = 3
- Littoral = 3
- East =3
- North = 3
- North-West = 78
- West = 11 (including 10 english-speaking, holders of the GCEAL)
- South-West = 39
- South (province of origin of the Minister for the Higher education) = 6
…And like emphasized by the minister "the 26 best French-speaking candidates were integrated by the jury with the list of admissible candidates, without the name of an english-speaking candidate being removed, that is to say the total of postulating candidates rises to 153 names. There are therefore no two parallel lists, nor an additive list, but only one regular list i.e the one signed by the president of the jury and which takes into account the best candidates of the ten provinces of Cameroun ". Thus this strike has no ground…I do love politicians for their explanations….hmmm!!

ON THE OTHER HAND, lets be serious :
This "enlightment" from the minister leaves some (even many) shades. Are the copies of the candidates classified francophone/anglophone? How were 26 French-speaking candidates selected? Why 26? How many candidates were to be selected for the oral exam ? How does the VC explains that? Is it his "fault"? We need to know. And more seriously, this "fault" led to the death of at least two Cameroonians. Since it is not manslaughter, the VC must at least answer for this i.e. He should immediately be suspended from his functions. UNLESS, unless they asked him to say it is his "fault" in order to have his own share of the "gateau national". If that is the case, the VC should know that the CPDM’s methods are nowadays complex and might be left on his own like other managers at University of Yaounde 3 (a.k.a Kodengui Central Prison). The VC should say it is the minister’s fault and not be afraid.
Best Regards,
Ongola-Iwondo

rexon

Ongolo iwondo,

How do you come up with your partitioning of the list of students from their provincial heritage?

Kumbaboy

Fellow countrymen/women:

The Press Release by the SDF is informative and as well as the breakdown of the provincial origins of the successful students to new UB Medical School in Ongola-Iwondo's mail.

On matters of medicines, it is important to underscore competence. If all the successful students originated from Bamenda central, then so be it. No body wants an incompetent medical doctor. The only way to inspire the next generation of student doctors, including my cousins in Fiango, is to tell them that admission is by merit alone. There should be no interviews.

Provincial boundaries are not set in stones. Paul Biya and Fame Ndongo cannot balance a budget, let alone make a surgeon. The attempted gerrymandering by Fame Ndongo and his divisive explanation associating Professor Lambi to one group of successful students manifest the primitive instincts fuelling the sick politics of the CPDM.

In the Ndongo-CPDM thinking, what action should the NW and SW Provinces take immediately to address gross impartiality in international diplomatic appointments that are the handiwork of Paul Biya himself?

Ladies and gentlemen, of the 62 or so heads of foreign diplomatic missions of Cameroon, less than 4 are headed by Anglophones (Italy, Equatorial Guinea and one or two others). That is all. The rest is a sea of Francophones appointed by H.E. Paul Biya, including Anglophone capitals like Washington DC, London, Abuja, Pretoria and Ottawa. Many of these appointees are unable to read daily newspapers in their host countries! Cameroon's UN missions are permanently in the hands of Francophones, in New York and in Geneva! It is laughable but real and betrays the tribalistic instincts that destroy excellence - the spice for competitiveness and creativity in national life.

This is the “simultaneous hypocrisy and demagoguery” of Paul Biya. Like appointments in the Army, overseas diplomatic appointees are disproportionately Francophones and mostly from Paul Biya's own ethnic group like Fame Ndongo himself. These are human appointments where no exam is taken. That approach should not be allowed to undermine excellence in scientific disciplines, especially medicines.

Someone must tell Mr Fame Ndongo that medical doctors do not treat patients based on their provincial origin and the patient’s expectations do not include the provincial origin of the doctor. A student who cannot pass the entrance should not be admitted, regardless of his provincial origin or status of his/her parents.

As a Kumba native, I feel strongly that the only way to motivate students is to let excellence prevail.

Fame Ndongo's attempt to fan the bad instincts of SWELA must fail. Prof. Lambi did not write the exam for the NW students who passed. These students are carriers of a torch so bright that the beam will reach all youth in my country. As for Fame Ndongo and the CPDM's divisive doctrines, I pray that nature quickly turns their ilk into manure.

Viva UB Students. You are a fierce vanguard of a new generation. That is what it takes to change a country. The country needs you as a bullwark against the jungle mentality of dull politicians more in power than in office.

@rexon

Man,
I'm a graduate of UB(and UY1)and kept very courteous relationships with some uncorrupted "informators" at some good levels. We were not only students during our studies but guys who wanted to know "le pourquoi du comment"(especially when very simple things looked blurred)...

Atangha

Rexon,
The Post of today (November 04) has published it; I pasted it because a lot of people thought we were being unnecessarily silent. We had to do our own investigations. Moreover, the Chairman had vehemently condemned these killings and warned this regime that this UB crisis may take a different dimension if not well manage, (on phone from B'da) over Tome Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) on a talkshow programme called Saturday Njangi. So, you all should understand that the SDF is as concern like most of you.

That said, UB was created as an Anglosaxon University just like Ngaoundere is for the francophones. The other four are supposedly passing around for bilingual universities. UB is ours! They can own the others! Attempting to toy around with UB is tantamount complete extermination of our values even if they had annexed Southern Cameroons. We don't hear of the quota system into CUSS, ENAM, etc., but when it comes to UB or any other Angloxason concept, these people come in with full force. UB was never given to us - we fought for it - we'll fight to preserve UB till the end of time!

Cheers & let's keep fighting for those values which we inherited from Great Britain!
