The Cameroon Football Federation of referees, ACAF, anAssociation of referees in Meme, have mapped out strategies for this year's football season.
This was disclosed during one of their auto-critique meetings that took place on Thursday, March 9, at the Divisional Delegation of Sports and Physical Education, Kumba.
Speaking to The Post, the President of the Association, Emmanuel Mbems Akwo, said the referees concerned were those of the subdivisions that make up Meme division.
He said the raison d'etre of the meeting was to come out with resolutions, which shall bind them during the start of Division 2 Championship.
On how they generate income, the President said his Association is made up of well-to-do men and women who contribute for the up keep of the union. He also said they get income from registration from the over 76 members.
He however, said only 46 of these total are active because some have gone on retirement and others have been suspended for unruly behaviour.He admonished members of the Auto-critique clubs to attend meetings to better arm themselves with new techniques.
The President of the Ekiliwindi Auto-critique club, Peterson Eseme, stated that he would be hard on members, suspending those who don't come to meetings at least twice a month.
Kumba Central, Mbonge have already started their auto-critique, while Ekombe is still to begin.
