What?!!!!! Biya should never be considered for such a prize, on no grounds and under no circumstances, ever. If the Mo Ibrahim can skew their definition for a `head of state who has his citizens at heart' to mean what Biya has done to Cameroon, then they should really start reconsidering their objectives and probably rethink other ways of using that kind of money rather than doling it out to the likes of my country's authoritarian.

What?!!!!! Biya should never be considered for such a prize, on no grounds and under no circumstances, ever. If the Mo Ibrahim foundatin can skew their definition for a `head of state who has his citizens at heart' to mean what Biya has done to Cameroon, then they should really start reconsidering their objectives and probably rethink other ways of using that kind of money rather than doling it out to the likes of my country's authoritarian.

Prince Eseme

Edward Ngalah is just trying to encourage Biya to leave power by 2011 because he knows fully well that Biya can never win such an award. For Biya, winning an award means nothing but clinging to power is his goal.

Donbon

Mr. Ngalang, you must be smoking some kind of cigarette or maybe spending too much time in the bars. And you call yourself an officer of a NGO. Yeah! the NGO of the stomach.
Do you think the rest of the world is easily duped as you guys who play the politics of the stomach.

Paul Biya will never be recognized for such a prize. Someone who has the blood of numerous anglohones on his hands, not to talk of countless Cameroonians who have died because of his failed policies and lack of leadership.
For you as a leader in society to make such banal statements is inconsciencious, lack of knowledge and selfserving.

Julio

Edward, that is an overstatement. He will not win this award even if rules the rest of his life.

DR CAMEROON

ALL THE GAMES WHICH ARE PLAYED IN CAMEROON AFFECT THE COMMON MAN , AND NOT YOU AND ME.
I SAW THE PHOTOGRAPH OF ONE OF THE POST JOURNALIST WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF CAMEROON IN ISREAL, IN A VERY PROUD MOOD, BAD GOVERNANCE PROMOTED.
HON MBAH NDAM IS VICE PRESIDENT OF PARLIAMENT[ GOVT, HAS THREE TIERS, LEGISLATIVE, JUDICIARY, EXECUTIVE,], BUT THE S.D.F IS NOT IN GOVT, I DONOT BLAME ANY BODY, THEY HAVE NOT TAKEN COURSES IN POLITICAL SCIENCES.
THE ANGLOPHONE APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RIGHTS SAYS , THEY COULD NOT ATTEND UNITED NATIONS MEETING, WERE THEY WERE EXPECTED TO GIVE A REPORT OF CAMEROON HUMAND RIGHTS SITUATION, THEY LIE THAT THEY DONOT HAVE ENOUGH FUNDS , ANGLOPHONES SAY THERE ARE HUMAND RIGHTS ABUSES IN CAMEROON.
SOME INTELLECTUALS MOUNTED THE ROSTROM TO TELL US THAT MR BIYA SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER 12YRS , MAY AS FUNS OF FUNS.
ATTANGA NJIE WAS ABLE TO MOBILISE THOUSANDS OF CAMEROONIAN WHO HAVE TWO SET OF UNIFORMS, SDF AND C.P.D.M,, TO CELEBRATE MR BIYA,S 25TH ANNIVERSARY, INCLUDING S, D, F MAYORS, WE SAY CAMEROONIANS WANT CHANGE.
THE NEW ONE IS THIS BURNING OF PROPERTIES IN THE SOUTH WEST AND KILLING OF INNOCENT PEOPLE,S CHILDREN IN CAMEROON IN THE NAME OF PROTEST, STUPID CHILDREN, GOATS HAVE DECIEVED THEIR PARENTS, IT,S TIME FOR THEIR BLOOD.
MR BIYA HAS SET THE SO CALLED MEDIA TO SENSITIZE CAMEROONIANS FOR 2011, THAT IS WAHT ALL OF US ARE DOING.
BOTH BIYA AND MR EBIBI HAVE BECOME INSTRUMENTS FOR PAPERS TO SELL.
THIS WILDERNESS CAMERRON SHOULD PASS AWAY.
AT TIMES I AM ASHAME TO BE CALLED AN ANGLOPHONE OR A CAMEROONIAN, BECAUSE ALL WE HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO IS TALKING AND WRITTING, MOST TIMES, RUBBISH.
THE ANGLOPHONES HAVE BETRAYED THE FRANCOPHONES WHO WANTED CHANGE, BY HIJACKING A PEOPLE,S MOVEMENT, AND REDUCE IT , INTO DEATH CELEBRATION POLITICS, SOME ARE ALSO EXCITED IN THE TOYS , THEY CALL POST.
ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE RELATIVES YOU LOVE AND PARENTS, TELL THEM TO TAKE CARE OF THEM SELVES, NOT TO ATTEND SO CALLED RALLIES, NOR EVEN READ THIS NONSENSE ON THIS PAPERS, IMAGIN THE LITTLE INNOCENT BOY SHOT .
CAMEROON DERSERVE WHAT IT HAS, AND THE ANGLOPHONES MOST BE BLAMED FOR OUR STUPIDITY AT ALL LEVELS.
AS BATE BESONG SAID, SHAME ON ME , A CAMEROONIAN, .
YOU KNOW THIS IS ALL , WE DO, WRITE, MOST TIMES, RUBBISH.
GOD BLESS THE EMERGING THIRD REPUBLIC.

UnitedStatesofAfrica

"THE ANGLOPHONES HAVE BETRAYED THE FRANCOPHONES WHO WANTED CHANGE, BY HIJACKING A PEOPLE,S MOVEMENT, AND REDUCE IT , INTO DEATH CELEBRATION POLITICS, SOME ARE ALSO EXCITED IN THE TOYS , THEY CALL POST."- DR. Cameroon
Are you crazy my friend? what kind of doctor are you? you have gone stark, raving mad? So, now you are accusing Anglophones for the problems in Cameroon eh? how many anglophones are in the government? how many anglophones hold decision-making positions in Cameroons? how many anglophones have ever been president? who are the richest people in Cameroon?
I am not even going to bother to argue with a joke like you. Arguing with you would be like trying to prove that the a dog is an animal.
I leave you to your conscience CAMEROON(I would be damned to refer to you as DR. because you clearly don't deserve the title)

Legima Doh

Ngala is out of his mind per se but.. infact Biya can win the price if,
It is changed to be awarded to head of states who are of macabre governance and aware of that, willfully step down so to let others have a chance to attempt at averting the status quo.Unfortunately, biya though knowing he has the worst governance in the world,he has no will of ever steping down. His power desire is insatiable.

Peace upon our motherland.

Legima Doh,
Younger brother of our Lord Jesus Christ

Ma Mary

Mr Biya's annual loot has to be greater than the value of this prize. As a disastrous failure, there will be no glory and no satisfaction after retirement. Mr Biya has to be a sad person, having squandered a serious opportunity to be great and consequential to his fellow man. He should win just for giving up, don't you agree, dear Camerounese people? For us Southern Cameroonians, we do not care which french zombie fraud is in charge. Tout c'est la meme chose.

Kumbaboy

The Prize Committee need to take into consideration Mr Biya's economic disaster in Cameroun and partisan stance on issues.

Mr. Biya will deserve a prize but after De Gaulle (ex- French President) for seeking an exclusive area in Africa where French is spoken.

Mr Biya is seemingly so spiteful of the Anglophone Culture that one of his first acts as President was to rename the great city of Victoria after an unknown river and recently described English as "imperialist". These are Biya acts and thus his controversial legacy.

Victoria of course is the celebrated Queen of England under whose rein the British Empire reached its peak influence. This is an undeniable fact of human history and Cameroon rightly honored this lady - a legacy that should be restored by the next government of Cameroon.
