The CPDM Section President for Kupe Muanenguba III, Dr Ntoko Mekolle Epie, has predicted that ill health might prevent President Biya from contesting 2011 Presidential elections.

Dr. Ntoko's predictions were made to Kumba based media organs. The Section President's statements irked the Divisional Officer for Tombel Sub-division, Samuel Mboule, who issued him a warning letter.
The DO, in his letter, disclosed that the section president in an interview with local news organs in Meme, predicted President Biya's ill health that will not permit him to stand as candidate for the 2011, presidential elections in Cameroon.
Mboule maintained that as Section President of the ruling CPDM in Tombel, it is assumed, Mekolle made the declaration on behalf of all the militants. He fumed that there was no forum in which the Section President was mandated to publish the unestablished declarations.
"Considering the fact that you are not the Head of State's personal physician, or political adviser, you are therefore warned to desist from such egoistic, power hungry and ill ambitious moves. Else, be prepared to face the wrath of those whose image you have tarnished. To be fore warned is to be fore armed," the DO's letter read in part.
It should be noted that on the December 6, Mekolle in a press chat told journalists that those agitating for a modification of article 6.2 of the constitution to extend Biya's mandate don't love the President.
The Section President, who is former Mayor of Tombel Rural Council, stated that retirement is honourable and from medical point of view, there is degeneration of nerves cells at old age.
Consequently, he observed that since these nerves cell constitute the brain, output is bound to dwindle as one gets older.Mekolle further told journalists that knowing what it means to be at the helm of the nation in terms of challenges; any view to enable the Head of State hang on power is synonymous to precipitating his death.
He also pointed that what could not be done within 25 years cannot be accomplished during an extended mandate.
Let's not wish Pa Biya ill health but at the same time the silent majority should not go to sleep waiting for 2011.All indicators point to a snap election following the anticipated amendment of the constitution. If not why was ELECAM shelved for so long ? It is very rational to speculate that elections have to come before that organ is rendered functional!

If indeed Dr Ntoko made these statements then he is a well wisher of the President Mr. Biya. He sees this issue from a professional point of view as a medical doctor and all the facts are stated. I believe Ntoko is an open minded Cameroonian and have a right to his opinion.
Mr D.O. the so call administrator is part of the failing system. In ENAM, they were taught to do just that and help to kill the system. No matter how long it takes, a mango fruit must drop to the ground when it over ripes. The advocates of "Biya for ever" should have this in their minds.

Dr Ntoko has a right to express his opinion. DO Samuel Mboule is also acting per his training and duty line.
DO Mboule's approach vindicates the advocacy for an eventual elimination of the appointed corps of administrative officers and provincial governors. These corps are an unnecesary expansion of the presidency, serve as spies on the people, seek and take bribes, and usurp the role of elected officials.
In a nutshell, appointed DOs and Governors subvert democracy.
