The President of Nouveau Droit de l'Homme, Hilaire Kamga, has described President Paul Biya as an incoherent Head of State.
In an open letter reacting to the President's New Year's speech, Kamga reminded the President that he submitted the proposal for the revision of the 1972 constitution in 1996 in parliament, as well as the law of January 1996.
He argued that the President's pretence that the limitation of the
mandate is contrary to popular liberty, gives the impression that this
is motivated by the will of the people.
He cautioned that if such manipulations were tolerated in the
yesteryears, such would no longer be the case because some people
cannot be fooled all the time.
Kamga noted that 93,000 Cameroonians have signed against the modification of the constitution. He stated that the only chance left for the President to leave power honourably is by concentrating on electoral reforms that would enable free and transparent elections for a successor to be elected at the end of his term.
Kamga said Biya's speech was characterised by irregularities, incoherence, incongruity and challenging the Cameroonian people. He said from the speech, it is clear that Biya has no regard for the youths as they are not the principal priority. To him, this is demonstrated by the absence of a remark of compassion for the students that lost their lives in Kumba and Abong Mbang.
Kamga decried the hikes in the prices of basic commodities and expressed indignation at the fact that salary advancement which constitutes a debt is considered as a measure to ameliorate the purchasing power Cameroonian civil servants.
Mr Kamga we think alike.
Age is already weighing on Mr Biya.
I believe he has lost the tone of the music, missing his steps in every move and now being manipulated by some egocentric individuals. It is time to raise out voices higher and tell Mr Biya to make way honorably.
More grease to your elbows Mr Kamga.

We need to know President Biya's email address. Then we can tell him from all corners of the globe how he has over-stayed his presence as head of state. The plotted manipulation of the Consitution will not stand and could subject Mr Biya to charges of subversion.
Kamga is right in asserting that Biya is incoherent. By describing "English" as an imperialist language for example at his recent Paris TV interview, Mr Biya surprisingly contradicted the Constitution - indicative of old age tiredness.

We should not be addressing this man Biya as president. His proper title is emperor. When he passes away, his sons will take over emperors of Cameroon. But seriously, I think manifestations by the SDF against another term by this emperor are right. Civil society leaders and other political parties must join together to show their displeasure against this attempt by this pretentious emperor to rule us in perpertuity. Us ordinary fellows must chose a practical and visible manner to show our displeasure. Wearing Black clothes is a sign of mourning in our traditions. Why can't we all decide to start wearing black clothes until this man, Emperor biya leaves. This will be a small but visible manner of our civil disobedience.

Now that it looks like Biya is hanging around forever, I'm guessing you could all do with a much needed laugh.
