I actually don't know what is wrong with this co-called CPDM MP's. Go ahead and amend the constitution. the gods of the land will hurnt you at you door step, your bed, your offices. Shame on you.

cedinba

Fellow Cameroonians,
What else are we waiting for? Is this not a direct provocation to the Cameroonian People? After last month riot about the same constitutional change issue, now it has been taken to another level to test the will of the Cameroonian people. Are we going to see this pass? The Parliament building has to be leveled down. The chemist please come out with the combinations necessary to make this hapen. The time to act is now if we will call cameroon ours again.
celestin.

felix

This is the problem with most Cameroonians.when Real people are taking Real action on Cameroonians, most of them instead of standing against it with Real Action, they are waiting for the Gods to hurt them.
We are living in a Man world and not a godly one.
The only way to change a dictator is the use of force not of GOD

Delors

I will first of all thank Mp Ayah for coming out to say he will not be part of a people that will help destroy Cameroon or make biya eternal president. A constitution written and amended by a party (cpdm) is in no way a constitution of a country, thus it represents that political party (cpdm). The fools that call themselves MPs from North West cannot sacrify a nation by voting for such a constitution because they want projects realized in their province. Ask yourselves why your own development be linked to the constitutin of a nation. Did biya not tell you people that he was going to personally supervise the construction of the ring road?. was achidi achu not the pm for cameroon for years?. The only thing now is for us all to prepare ourselves to die and lets make sure the names of all cpdm parliamentarians are put down and where they live for they have to pay the price. Should you sell a nation for 150.000 frs ????

Aron

This has to go into the Guiness book of Record. Cameroonians selling their country for a £150 pound not even upto a cleaners salary for two days. Shame to You all CPDM. Achidi Achu deserved to be hanged as this is his handwork. I think the CPDM want some sort of terorism before they can learn. Don't forget that you (CPDM mafias) have children. they will be victims of the post war which you want to create.

TabiSweden

Beyond Poverty
After embarking on an x-ray to determine why CPDM MPs would consider taking a mere 150 GB pounds to amend the constitution in Biya's favour, I found the answer in just four (4) words 'The politics of greed'. The question I then asked myself is, what can then be done to avert this syndrome that has chopped into the mind of some unscrupulous CPDM MPs? The answer I found to this is that traditional rulers in these constituencies have a part to play. As a traditional ruler, There is the right to ban any MP who dare vote to amend such a bill from entering into their constituencies (such as villages) assuming that these rulers themselves are cought-up in the influence of the Biya regime. A second solution to the above would be to educate these MPs on the need to seize from amending the said article because I can confidently say that most MPs are by far less educated and would hardly understand the implication of such a move.

A final solution should come from cameroonians overseas. What can they do to avert this from happening.
- Embark on public demonstrations
- Threatening any MP who attempts to visit any EU country or the USA of the posibility of serious consiquences on his part if he or she dares to travel out of Cameroon

Many thanks for your comments, keep them coming. But isn't this just characteristic HOT AIR?.

TabiSweden, that analyses is brilliant.

At one point in life its necessary to be objective and realistic. Cameroonians are violence-fearing people who need just what it takes to keep life going.Am still doubting if there is any remedy to this, not even Biya changing the constitution would make Cameroonians change their ways of reacting to life debacles not to talk of political onslaughts. Its not surprising for even the tyrian Omar Mbongo to say Cameroon is the easiest country to be ruled in the world.
I think its high time we stopped these hocuspocuses of opposing Biyas malicious intentions and started thinking of how to face the inferno he is take us into. Its clear he gonna change it and nothing new is gonna happened.
A protest or strike actions means nothing to Biya.Just take a look at the last strike actions. The organization and intentions of those who were striking was devoid of unalloyed patriotism,as guys were rather interested in breaking others business places and government places making away with articles. Its embarrassing to digest the fact that during a strike action gird at bringing democracy into the country, the main targets where beer bars and warehouses. And at the end of the day most were drunk and happy, leaving little or no impact to Biyas phylum, not to talk of the international community. And just few hours after the strike actions were officially called off the bars were running short of mimbo.
And talking of Cameroonians abroad, they are not too different from their brothers back home.Hundreds of them are living in Bone Germany but how many turned up for the match?check in youtube.com, whereas if it was a social gathering they would have blissfully put on their social machetes to invade the place and pimped it with luxurious wines and Scotch whisky.
That is Cameroon and Cameroonians. Its my wish to see the country move forward but if any form of violence is what it takes to achieve this then its still a long story.

topsecret

The battle to fight the architect of the change of our constitution will not be done only at home it has to be extended abroad. Our paliamentarians and ministers who have decide to sell our destiny for $300 have to pay dearly both at home and abroad. These homosexuals do not understand the pains when prescious of those defending our democracy are taken by bullets.Old mothers are weeping everyday for the lost of their daugthers and sons.today,we have spoted sons and daughters of ministers and parliamentarians roving here abroad while are brothers and sisters are being killed. The message this morning is that these group of people can hide but their sons and daughters can't longer hide.,although the lost of lives back at home can not be equavelent to the lost of either a minister/parliamentarians's son or daughter, yet its time we send a signal that the tides have turn round and the hunter is to be hunted.watch us is a matter of time.
God save cameroon

mk the southerner

All Southern Cameroons MP'S, do you remember the EASTERN REGIONAL CRISES at Enugu Nigeria? It is the results of what you guys are enjoying today. Can you do same so that every body can enjoy? Live the La Republicans and their method of politics alone and come back home like Enderly, ST Muna and co did. And I tell you must solemnly this will be the final work out or migration because we will be home, WE HAVE SUFFERED ALLOT.

MK

Clear

This constitution effectively makes it illegal for any woman to run for the presidency. Read the bill: "The President of the Republic shall be elected for a term of office of seven years. He shall be eligible for re-election". Note that the bill refers only to "he". It does not have a "she" in mind. After all, those who table the bill have no interest in making a constitution that is enduring.

And the women in parliament have accepted it. Then tomorrow they will start talking about women's rights and women's day. It's a shame.

rexon

Though we are all interested in fighting against constitutional manipulation by African leaders, let me make it abundantly clear that MP's from the Southern Cameroons are legitimising and masterminding the colonisation of the Southern Cameroons through their antics in Camerounese parliament. How many times would they be told that La Republique is not their country? Why should we keep sacrificing our souls for the affairs of a foreign country without paying proper attention to our colonisation problem.

simplice

Clear: that was conspicious clairvoyance

NEBABOSO

Fellow cameroonians, freedom is not given to the people, the people fight for their freedom.

By this I mean that, it is time we use any lethal or none lethal means to get rid of the Biya Junta. We cannot simply sit and watch a group of individuals confiscate the wealth of a nation to the detriment of its people. Those of us in the diaspora should be ready to spend cash for whatever reason towards the rescue of our beloved fatherland, let those who have ears to hear understand where I'm coming from.

Gone are the days that we simply sit and talk without action, how many of us are hear in the north east? Just a hand full attended the rally at the cameroon embassy in Washington DC, yet we sit and talk of how we love our country.

It's time for change, and the change must be brought about through peace or violence. We have been compelled to include violence as an option.

How can the so called HONOURABLE MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT sell a nation for a token amount of $300 being my daily earning? My fellow country men let's stand up and start the fight. Biya is gradually but steadily emulating the examples of his friend ROBERT Mugabe.

NEBABOSO

simplice

Mr NEBABOSO, if there's anything you can do for Cameroon: start doing it now and forget about "collective conscience". Only Wilson has ever opted to sacrifice 500 dollars on this forum. All we read here is some hypocritical "HOT AIR" erred by some "would be" Freedom Fighters. All these hypocritical apologies of emphemeral character have led us no where. Gentleman, if you think someone herein will support you pragmatically, you're dreaming. You better disillusion yourself of the practical consistencies of this forum.

one cameroon

Fellow countrymen, lets keep aside the writing and talking technique it hs failed us.If we are to write anything it should be to the international bodies,tv stations inviting them to come and bear witness to what we're going to do.No amount of talking and writing will mean anything to the cameroonian we have seen it all.FREEDOM DOES NOT COME FREELY WE MUST FIGHT FOR IT. Let us begin the fight now. There is no time we need each other like now lets join force and hit the streets.

Dumisani

We know them

Its tim to deal with their children here of the country

Dumisani

MPs,Ministers and top cpdm members, think again and think nicely before you sacrifies your family if you have on for 150.000frs.We have realised that it is time to stop talking and do the right thing. Well, we have a list of your children out of the country, and you know exactly what will happen to them if you sign that bill. You better tell your godfather that it is not going to work this time........"10111"

FELLOW CAMEROONIANS, BROS AND SIS, FINALLY BIYA AND COLLABORATORS HAVE IGNORED THE LITTERED BLOOD AND CRIES OF CAMEROONIANS TO ENDORSE AND ADOPT HIM AS PRESIDENT AGAIN BY 2011, MAKING CAMEROON THE MOST UNSCRUPULOUS AND POVERTY STRIKING KINGDOM THAT HAVE EVER EXISTED TIME IMMEMORIAL.
WE ALL HAVE FIVE SENSES, WITH MOST CAMEROONIANS EVEN HAVING THE SIXTH SENSE OF INSTINCT, BUT I CAN'T REALLY UNDERSTAND WHY WE REFUSE TO SEE, SAY, ACT OR EVEN COMMENT TO THIS GROSS BLACKMAILING AND HYPOCRISY. I HAVE BEEN TO BRUSSEL AS FEW OTHER CAMEROONIANS OF GOODWILL WANTING TO LIVE OR ATLEAST DIE FOR A FUTURE FREE AND TRUE CAMEROON BUT ALL THE TIME IS A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT.
WE KEEP COMPLAINING AND WRITING, I BELIEVE IT'S LATE BY NOW EVEN TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP OUT OF THE THOUSAND MILES JOURNEY WE GOT AHEAD OF US ALL FOR A LIBERATED CAMEROON( CHINESE PROVERB).
THE ONE THING I BELIEVE IN EVERY CAMEROONIAN, LADY OR GENTLEMAN, OLD OR YOUNG, RICH OR POOR, IS THEY ALL HAVE THE ABILITY TO ENDURE SITUATIONS, EVEN TO A FAULT THAT WE FIND OURSELVES IN TODAY...SUPPORTING BIYA N UNSCRUPULOUS CO FOR MORE THAN 26 YEARS...AND STILL READY TO GO ON...MY GOD, EVEN U WHO IS SLOW TO ANGER, MUST HAVE LOST YOUR TEMPER!
THE WAY FORWARD FOR A PROSPEROUS CAMEROON LIES NO WHERE MORE THAN IN THE SECRET MEMO TO AMADOU AHIDJO 1964; THAT WAS PUT DOWN BY THE THEN SCRIBE OF K.N.D.P AND FIRST CAMEROONIAN TO BE AWARDED A PHD..PROF FOLON NSOKIKA BERNARD.http://www.fonlon.org.(CHECK IT)
I JUST WANT TO BE MODEST HERE IN MY DECLARATIONS SO THAT THOSE SCRUTINING CAN LET THEM GO THROUGH, COS MANY A TIMES I HAVE WRITTEN TOO MUCH AND FINALLY CUT OFF. NO MORE ACCUSATIONS, LETZ ASK OURSELVES WHAT SACRIFICES HAVE WE MADE PERSONALLY TO AID OUR FATHERLAND OUT OF THIS DOOM. I UNDERSTAND MANY PEOPLE HAVE EVEN SACRIFICED THEIR FATHER, MOTHER, WIFE, HUSBAND, SON , DAUGHTHER OR WHOSOEVER BUT WE CAN NOT STOP, WE MUST GO ON TILL THE ISSUE IS SOLVED...STAND UP TRUE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF CAMEROON FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN AND FOR ATLEAST YOUR BASIC RIGHTS. JOIN OUR MOVEMENT HERE IN BELGIUM, LETZ PUT HEADS TOGETHER N SEND AWAY THOSE FEW THAT ARE INFLICTING SUCH DEEP AND UNESTIMATED SUFFERINGS TO INNOCENT CAMEROONIANS...NORTH SOUTH, EAST AND WEST. I CRY 4 CAMROON, I CRY 4 AFRICA, GOD SAVED HIS PEOPLE AGAINST THE MIGHTY EGYPT(PHAROAH),BUT TODAY WE SHALL SAVE OURSELVES THROUGH OUR CONCERTED EFFORT AND GOD'S EMINENT GUIDANCE. ANY USEFUL SUGGESTION ON how TO GET OUT THIS MESS IS WELCOMED BY THE CBCC(CORDINATION DE BELGIQUE POUR LE CHANGEMENT AU CAMEROUN)-BRUSSELL, BELGIUM. THANKS.
