Eto'o has always felt disrespected by his own people. Now he thinks he should disrespect them in turn. His stupid behavior is something that he could not have done in Europe (notice that he did not want the tape to be broadcast to the world!). He would be in jail if he did such a thing in Europe (and he knows that). The fact that Eto'o is right now not in jail is an indictment on the judicial system of Cameroon, a broken judicial system. It is amazing that the reporter of this incident sees nothing wrong with the fact that Eto'o has not been charged by the state. In a despicable public spectacle of this nature (Hilton Hotel!), security officers were supposed to have been on hand to arrest Eto'o and Kameni. This is a blatant display of the lawlessness of Cameroon. Shame on Eto'o and Kameni. I think they should be removed from the team. We should rather lose games than having them there. It is amazing that Eto'o threatens to leave the team rather than being removed. A country that does not discipline its people cannot expect to do any better than Cameroon. This incidence was a shame on us perpetrated by public people.

Fon

This is a total disgrace to the person Eto´o. This goes a long way to show that the boy is lacking basic education. It is also a shame to our security men who take Eto´o to be a demi-god. Disappointing to hear that Eto´o was not arrested. Cameroon is really a lawless country.
The Camara man who surrendered the tape to Eto´o is really a coward. He would have bought the tape with a heavy amount.
He playing football, first for his interest and therefore can quit if he not still interested in making money through match bonuses.

mapio

Some of these illiterates who run behind that round object think they are kings.Boney, I urge you to take Eto'o to court and make some cash.Learn from the Americans. They don't miss waste such opportunities.

Delors

I think this fool called Eto was supposed to be professional fighting in spain and not football.he insults people here and there in the name of footballer. Has he forgotten that he is playing whateverhe is playing for his personal self. What has he to offer to who. He makes a lot of noise because some cameroonians take him like the lord because he gives them beer. I think he believes that the ambulance he gave to his people is a bridge to insult cameroonians. Where are they going to use the ambulance? do we have hospitals or roads? For me Boney should beat the shit out of this idiot. I think eto believes that he ill be the next president of Cameroon. The coach should fire this guy from the team He is not the almighty of that team, Cameroon played so many matches without him and won them. Another big fool too kameni who forgot the road to school like eto and cut his age by half jumped into it and acted the same. Can they not behave like the likes of Abedi Pele of Ghana, Wanko Kano, Weah Raba Majer, Hassan, Jay jay Ochocha , Mboma , Miller etc.I'm being told that people are calling for calm, what are they talking about. These journalists too have lost their minds. They spend much of their time praising these fools only for them to come back home and get them beaten. If football could bring everything to a country Brazil should have been living in another planet.Eto calls peoplvauriens, pauvres, batards and they let him go, I'm perplexed. He should do that in Spain and go free.
