"The Professor Chia-led activists languishing at the Bamenda Central Prison were arrested on August 26 alongside some SCNC activists who were later released. Unlike the SCNC, the group wants that citizens of the former Northern Cameroon that voted to join Nigeria in 1961 should break away and form a separate country with Southern Cameroonians, which is also inkling to secede from the Republic of Cameroon.

This approach complicates the SCNC strive for self determination; reason why the Ayamba-led group is sceptical about their mission."

What a confused bunch of people. Complete lack of a clearly defined agenda, leadership and unity. What a mess!! Some of them now want the people of former Northern Cameroon to break away from Nigeria eh? how stupid. And who told you this people want to become a part of Cameroon? what cultutal similarities do they have with Cameroon? they have been alienated from Cameroon for over 50 years and you think you can just uproot them and bring them back to Cameroon? and which "cameroon" will they be joining? La Republique or "Southern" Cameroons? the last time I checked there's no independent country called Southern Cameroons...or do you want to join "La Republique"? are you guys now agents of Biya's territorial expansion?...hahahahaha. This is laughable indeed. SCNC is a total waste of time and space. Some foolish thing dem!

mk the southerner

If a fool calls a fool a fool then who is mad?

UnitedstatesofAfrica

Mr. Mk, is that all you have to say? is that all you can say to defend failed policies of your so-called pressure group? I shouldn't be surprised really because there's nothing you can say. To borrow a line from the infamous McCain/Palin/Obama fiasco, "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig"

Legima Doh

Haha,UnitedstatesofAfrica,
You have come back again with your most macabre, moronic and short sighted vision for the Southern cameroons.I did not see any statement from your usual gibberish backing how the ScNc is a waste of time. You also would never be able to make sense from any ideology that is put in place to walk alongside the ScNc.I wonder how you can be able to equate scepticism to confusion.Prof Martin Chia is not a fool and of course is well more knowledgeable than the moron of your person. His idea about bring Southern cameroonians from northern parts of Nigeria cannot be condemned by the kind of baseless points of yours. All the wings point to the fact that the Southern Cameroons struggle for liberation is based on truth and legitimacy. The idea of bringing back Southern Cameroonians scattered abroad especially in the northern part of Nigeria cannot be a totally damnable idea.I acknowledge the fact that as HRH Ayamba said, savoir faire is needed for such an act but not the kind of nay saying from you.
You are an absolute detraction, consumed by extreme phobia for the ScNc which leads to the expressing public idiocy whenever there is issue about the ScNc.We acknowledge your presence as a nuisance.Welcome back from hiding.
Peace and God bless the Southern Cameroons,
Legima Doh,
ScNc-New York

Scnc comes up this time every year for the past decade to reaffirm their commitment to the seperation of cameroonians giving their reason of being a failed union.for all this years what have this brothers of ours acheived in their agenda, rather than spreading propaganda of hate within cameroonians.by the time the republic of cameroon was struggling to gain controll over part of its territory from nigeria, what action did our seperationist play to foster their agenda so that the UN could hear their cry and give bakassi to southern cameroon, rather than to cameroon?they would have done something so that we could see the seriosness of these southern cameroonian dream.they truth is that these agenda has no followings especially among the youths because the cause is not defined.we dont know whether its the right decision to go for a seperation and what are our possibilities of achieving these dream.we need to see true policies and implementations and not propaganda.this following after all might be a waste of time and for all this years has been a waste of time and i dont think cameroonians have any more time to waste giving the struggle we have ahead of us in the "struggle for a better life for all".that is the struggle to me.

Legima Goat, so you are now in New York eh? I can see that your fake SCNC asylum documents are taking you places. Kudos to you for your skills in the art of thievery.

Point of correction, I was not in hiding. I was simply liberating myself from the bombardment of SCNC propagandist rubbish that you and your cohorts spew on this forum. But from the look of things, your people have been leaving this forum slowly, dropping like dead flies. The reason for this departure, I can only speculate. Whether it may be deportation or the fact they are have finally come to their senses, all I can say is that finally! we are returning to normalcy.

It still puzzles me that you are defending that childish notion of former Northern Cameroon to breaking away from Nigeria and joining Cameroon. Have you guys pondered whether the people of Northern Cameroon are actually in support of such a move? has the SCNC conducted a survey and found out that the people former Northern Cameroon are overwhelming in support of joining "Southern" Cameroons? I find it laughable that some SCNC idiots go on with plans without even consulting the people who are going to be affected by these plans. And I use the word "Affected" loosely because we all know such plans will never take effect.

FYI, the people of former Northern Cameroon don't want anything to do with your Southern Cameroons or even Cameroon in general. They have been alienated from Cameroon and they have no cultural similarities with cameroon anymore. But I don't except the talkatives at the SCNC to know this. I mean, since when has the SCNC ever done its research?

On the subject of intergrating territories formerly divided, your argument has no basis. The entire Africa was haphazardly divided and separated during the scramble for Africa, before colononization and even after. If all seperated territories were to return to the area in which they were separated from, then the whole of Africa would have to be rearranged. Such an ambition can only be achieved if majority of the people are willing to go along with the plan. From the last time I checked, the majority of Southern Cameroons and former Northern Cameroon want nothing to do with a useless, indecisive, fragmented and lame-dog pressure group like SCNC.

This same time last year, I told you and your people that you are wasting your time. I will tell you again and next year, this same time, I will still tell you the same thing.

Foolish thing dem.

Thank You UnitedStatesofAFrica!!

Atlast a laudable write on this Southern Cameroon Madness. I am surprised some big backers have not yet chipped in thier always sickening impression. Its either they are accepting defeat, or gradually accepting reality. Its so funny how a bunch of self centered persons do come out with ideas that their own wives donot even buy...lol Just like I have said and always say, that dream is nothing different than Mr Legimah Doh thinking he could be King of Britain someday...LOL MR Doh, true leaders stay in thier countries and give the lead, they donot go as far as the US. Where you exiled?...lol

Where the hell are you coming from with that idea that SCNC members are leaving this forum Fool?
Think again OK.Our members are increasing every day.People like you,i wonder if you do come from the Southern Cameroons, pretend not to be on our side.
If for real you are from the Southern Cameroons then you are pretending not to support the idea.
You come to this forum write horrible things mean while at the back of your mind you are praying for the final Southern Cameroons independence.
I know some of you guys come here for info on how this struggle has gone. Not here brothers.Write what ever stupid and nonsensical thing your little mind can produce. The fact is, we are getting there.Don't worry, you would soon close that large bu cal cavity,what--ever-place-you-come-from-man

Legima Doh

A worst society is that made up of people who claim to be intellectual giants but suffer from a magnum of moral dwarfism. The kind of noxious exhalations from the quacks of the likes of unitedstatesofafica can be very venomous to the true nature of the struggle for liberation of our motherland.Legima Doh does not care about where you have been but one thing is clear that you have been in limbo for the past time as far as this forum is concerned.Whether it is you who is clamoring for asylum or not is not a matter of importance to us.There is this fact about our struggle that you cannot ever debug no matter how blatant and negative you grow against the ScNc.Persistence is a great sign of strength whether you want it or not.Negative attitude and inferiority comoplex as you possess are a great sign of weakness and cowardice. The stugggle is based on truth and legitimacy. This is where you come short of argument. You can come up with all sort of counter arguments and humors about the ScNc but you can never challenge the legitimacy of the struggle. You are so blind as not to be able to read between the lines.I made it rock water clear that the issue involving NOrthern Nigeria is to be considered cautiously and went forth to explain that as reason for the scepticism of HRH Ayamba Ette saying that you could not equate scepticism to confusion. You keep on wondering on when ScNc ever did her research.I know from the way you write, from the idiocy u express you must be totally lacking in the historical, legal and political aspects and aspirations of the Southern Cameroons. The Southern Cameroons has a good lot of researchers who have done meticulous findings on facts for the struggle. If you are a child of the Southern Cameroons, then the land laments you as an enigma. You have the support of those who make the most incongruous, weak and stupid contributions in this forum.Esono ,grandlexus are prototype examples here.Esono, you got nothing to offer to us here from that faint sounding talk about freedom. You must be out of touch with history and reality.Your talking about federalism in this context is intellectual and historical dishonesty and distortion. You are completely missing here and need to be found.Grandlexus,as a neophyte you still need to get proper indoctrination from usafrica. When u talk about defeat who are u refering to?Defeat in this forum from morons like you and ur chief usafrica? The frontier of the ScNc goes beyond the online world to the offline world. We are working in the schengen states , the UK and the US without relenting our efforts. Not the wishy washy empty talk from you people would bring an ebb to the struggle and our activism. The ScNc is growing from strength to strength, gaining the hearts of faithful loyals to the truth. Its a dream if you may call it so but yes dreamers's dream shape the world in pragmatism.I can become the king of England.Yes Obama can become the president of the United States of America.
Peace to our motherland.

Legima Goat, please spare me the intellectual masturbation and let's get straight to the point. The bottom line is that majority of SOuthern Cameroonians are not in support of your pressure group. How many SOuthern Cameroonians, who are actually living in Cameroon, did you see parading the streets during the October 1st celebrations? how many SOuthern Cameroonians have you seen leading large protests in favor of the SCNC? they don't care about your pressure group and they are not interested about being misled by a group of asylum seekers who are harboring political ambitions in Western countries.

The SCNC is not a pressure group "of the people". It is the cult of misguided historians, failed politicians and self-proclaimed "intellectuals" ( and I use the word "intellectuals" loosely). You forget that you can't win a political struggle on such a vast scale without the support of the people. The PEOPLE are not on your side. NO ONE CARES!!

You are going along with your distorted SCNC agenda on the assumption that majority of Southern Cameroonians, ACTUALLY LIVING IN CAMEROON, are with you. Pathetic. This is the same assumption you people are making about former Northen CAMEROON. If Ayambe Ette was a sensible man he would have brushed off the idea of former Northen Cameroon intergrating with Southern Cameroons immediately. Why should there be any scepticism? the answer is clear. These people have been alienated from Cameroon for over 50 years, they have a different culture, speak a different language and have different goals. Which study or research or survey has been conducted to show that the people of former Northern Cameroon are interested in joining Southern Cameroons' struggle? which current survey has shown this? YET, you SCNC buffoons go on with your plans, working once again on assumptions that the PEOPLE are with you. I feel sorry for you.

I give the SCNC 1,000 more years before they can even get close to their "goals".

FOOLISH THING DEM!!

Don Duke

I always visit this site to read comments. At times some of the comments leaves me very disturbed. Unnecessary harsh tones and unconstructive thinking. I believe in superior argument.

No body made me an umpire but to be candid, USAfrica went totally off point. i quote:

"The bottom line is that majority of SOuthern Cameroonians are not in support of your pressure group"

This is not a statement fact at all. If you tell me that SCNC, to the best of your knowledge, has not done any thing substantial to be taken seruously by the international community, i might aggree with you to the best of my knowledge.

With or without SCNC, deeply rooted in the minds of every southern Camerooning is the phrase "I feel cheated by this french people". If there is a connection between this phrase and the objective of SCNC is strictly at the riewers discretion. It can be any organisation, but when the motive runs in parallel with the motive of Governance in Cameroon with no nexus or commonality, then it presupposes that there is a problem. Even though majority can put you on top, the rest of your days on top will still be disturbed by that one man who did not share ur opinion or view. If you dont go back to make him see reason, he will become one rotten yam in the bag.

Second Quote from USAfrica:
"I give the SCNC 1,000 more years before they can even get close to their "goals".

This shows an iota of hope no matter how persimistic you may sound. If SCNC needs a thousand years to come closer to their goals, it means u acknowledge that there is a goal clearly stated some where, be it insinuation. That time-lag might just be shorten by regime change, who knows.
Let the superior argument carry the day. If u dont have the capacity or time to draft a set piece which will clearly show superiority in your line of thinking, i site Fongang, then you can still be welcomed as a ready.

When u call somebody a goat, he will be tempted to call you a cow. at the end this forum will become an animal farm.

I think Prof. Chia should consider first proposing a referendum in northern Nigeria or join the mainstream BSCG and seek for the independence of the Southern Cameroons. Thanks
