WELL IT IS HIGH TIME YOU THE ANGLOPHONE MPS CAN START REALISING THAT THE CURRENT REGIME HAS NO PLANS TO DO ANYTHING FOR THE SOUTH WEST PROVINCE. I AM GLAD YOU GUYS CAN STAND UP AND OPENLY OPPOSE A SYSTEM THAT IS MARRED BY ACTIONS OF DIVISION AND FACTIONALISM. ANGLOPHONES HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY MARGINALISED IN CAMEROON AND THE DEEP SEA PORT IN LIMBE IS JUST ONE OF THE NUMEROUS EXAMPLES TO QUOTE. THE CORRUPT AND WICKED GOVERNMENT OF PAUL BIYA WILL NEVER LISTEN TO YOU PEOPLE BECAUSE FOR 26 YEARS THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT INDISCRIMINATELY REFUSED THE NORTH AND SOUTH WEST PROVINCES OF ANY SHARE OF THE NATIONAL CAKE OR ANY FOR OF DEVELOPMENT. THE ONLY OPTION IS FEDERATION SO THAT EACH PROVINCE CAN BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ITS OWN DEVELOPMENT. THIS REGIME HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO FAIL US SO WE MUST DO SOMETHING TO PUT AN END TO THIS.THE PRIMI MINISTER IS FROM THE SOUTH WEST PROVINCE YES BUT HE NOTHING SHORT OF A DECORATION THAT WILL BARELY TAKE ORDERS FROM HIS BOSS THE MVODO MAN. WE DONT HAVE TO CRY OVER SPILLED MILK FOR WE HAVE ENOUGH RESOURCES THAT CAN HELP US SUSTAIN OURSELVES WITHOUT THE BUNCH OF THIEVES FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MUNGO. PUT PRESSURE ON THEM BY ASKING FOR A 10 STATE FEDERATION BEHOLD THEY WOULD HEED TO YOUR DEMNADS FOR FEAR OF THE FACT THAT WHAT THEY ENJOY IS ALMOST GOING AWAY

We have gone through this lane over more than 4 decades and we have been made to understand clearly that we should not expect a foreign colonial government to develop our country for us. What Southern Cameroonians need to do is to restore their statehood, then develop its infrastructure the way they want it to be. The foreign colonial power of La Republique have for long singled out the territory of the Southern Cameroons as a land to plunder its resources, its people enslaved and left to die in perpetual poverty. They see us as sub-humans and do not have any problem treating us anyhow. It is but shameful for Southern Cameroonians to keep tolerating this sort of manipulation hiding behind some vague theory of a one Cameroon that never was. Southern Cameroonians must accept their status as slaves captured and held hostage by people they once considered their brothers of La Republique Francaise du Cameroun and either fight to liberate themselves or remain slaves forever.

Fambuh AWAH

It is interesting to note that these hand-clappers of the Biya regime could take so long to see what has been happening to all of us Anglophones for more that four decades. However, like the biblical prodigal son, we Southern Cameroonians that had seen this long ago and turned our backs on it, are ready to forgive them and accept them back in the fold. But before we accept them fully, I have just one suggestion for them. I am sure they are now fully convinced that La Republique will never stop deceiving us and plundering our resources to develop their country. So they are advised to join us all in the struggle for the restoration of our statehood. This is how they can go about it. Let all of them Anglophone MPs (SDF and CPDM)boycott the parliament and the few members of government including their PM Inoni and other highly placed civil servants massively resign from La Republique's government and throw their weight on the struggle for the restoration of Southern Cameroons. If they can be bold enough to do this then, then we will know they are actually feeling the pinch and can now be accepted back in the fold. Let them not fear for the coward of Biya cannot afford to kill them all. Their eyes are at long last opened and I hope they will heed our call and suggestion or employ any other method to get out of this 2nd colonization by La Republique that has lasted over forty years. To be candid no amount of promise by this devilish regime can be taken serious. Anyone still listening to their promises is a really fool. A word to a wise is enough.

Che Sunday

Its laughable hearing these elected no good bench warmers wasting their time speaking in a house which they are seen as foreigners. From Ahidjo to Paul Biya, they have always been seen as not belonging. But each sell-out who gets elected, albeit fraudulently, goes in believing he/she can make a difference. They leave behind a generation of brainwashed followers who keep singing the praises of the CPDM with anticipation that things will change. When nothing is forthcoming, they hit the street, the gendarmes kill a few and a few weeks later, you are handed a token academic institution. Come election time, another francophone will show up with a plan to re-activate feasibility studies on the Limbe port. He will be elected. 26 years later, Limbe will still have no port. Wasn't a contract awarded to a Chinese company to build a warehouse, a shoping center and get the Limbe port running? Did some people on this forum not point fingers to this as another deception by the Biya Mafia to get the South West vote? Did he not get it? Did he not replace Musonge with Inoni? What do you want again? Biya has gotten what he wants and in return given you a son of the soil? Why are you not rejoicing? There are too many fortune seekers or opportunists in Anglophone Cameroon who are willing to sell their souls for for a drop of grease in their palms to ever constitute a united force to compel Biya and co to do anything concrete for you guys. Until you control your apetite. Stop accepting the ministerial positions, boycot elections, refuse to put up candidates for these so call elections. If that doesn't work, then you have no alternative but stand up and fight. If one half is eating with the devil and rejoicing, the other half begins to wonder if there is a common destiny. Speak in unison and act in unison.

TAGRO

These Quislings (I make no distinction between the SDF and CPDM fifth columnists) from the Southern Cameroons in parliament now have one choice: pack up the belongings and come back home as their forbears did in Enugu a few decades ago. France and the genocidal junta they installed on January1, 1960 in la Republique Francaise du Cameroun can do nothing to them.

I urge all of them to read Gorji's Dinka New Social Order to bring them back to their senses and some sense of human dignity. It is even more relevant today than in March of 1985 when it was first published.

Fellow Southern Cameroonians sitting in the colonial parliament, Yaounde is not Buea circa 1955, where Southern Cameroonians debated in parliament like civilised people. Even after all these decades, what or parents and grand parents did with ease in the parliament in Buea and the various Native Authorities in our country remain beyond the grasp of this primitive Franco-Camerounese bunch acculturated to be French negroes. In Yaounde it is and always will be the politics of the bush.

In the politics of the bush by France's chosen negroes in Yaounde, and as Gorji Dinka so succinctly put it in The New Social Order:

"Instead of government by dialogue, we have government by terror. Instead of legislation by debate, we have legislation by ambush. Instead of law and order by persuation, we have law and order by banditry and piracy."

Yaounde will NEVER be Buea!

They still have tails over there in Yaounde and remain in the lower rungs of political evolution as in most of francophonic Africa. And that Chivas-drinking negro of a French puppet called Paul Biya has the bushiest tail of them all. He can spend as much time in whiteman contree as he wants and will never be avle to hide his long blacj bushy tail!

Southern Cameroonians, out of African solidarity and concern, have tried to help them evolve and shed theit tails, but they prefer the politics of bush, jumping from one tree branch to another to the amusement of their French zoo keepers. Let's leave them there for the amusement of the French guardians.

GET UP STAND UP, STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS!

It has not taken long for posterity to catch up with Inoni. After announcing that thousands and thousands of projects were on the way,the project that matters the most for the region was finally taken away under his watch. It is now abundantly clear that feasibility studies that started in 1975 need at least half a century to get completed.Biya is building sport complexes, stadiums, seaport in Yaounde and Kribi, while Inoni spends his time having dream fantasies about projects. When he is sacked in the coming days,he will go back home empty handed.

red flag

Talking about seaport only, airport is another, setback, british southern cameroonians are the only citizens in the world, who not only cannot elect their own leaders, and govern themselves, but have no airport to travel oversea from.
They have to board a bush taxi, to another country, french cameroun every time, they want to fly to London, or USA

AngloCameroonian

Even for common good, anglophones will still oppose!
Its a shame. If something must be done....it must start with the anglophones who keep denying reality.

Rolly

TELL ME MY ENGLSIH SPEAKING BROS AND SIS, HOW DO WE EXPECT THE BIYA'S CPDM REGIME TO CONSTRUCT THE LIMBE SEAPORT WHEN OUR SOUTH WEST BROS AND SIS ARE SLEEPING DOGS. IT DOESN'T SURPRISE ME THAT THE FIRE IN THE PARLIAMENT WAS IGNITED BY A NW MP. TWO OTHER NW MPs ADDED MORE FUEL TO IT AND THEN ONLY ONE, AND I REPEAT ONLY ONE SW MP (FROM AKWAYA) SUPPORTED THEM.
THE SW MPs AS WELL AS THE SWteners SEEM TO BE CONTENTED WITH THE STATE OF AFFAIRS IN THE PROVINCE. NO DOUBT, AWILO de BAMENDA (The Musician and Journalist) HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THE UNENDING MOTIONS OF SUPPORT TO THE CPDM REGIME FROM OUR SW BROS AND SIS.
SWP IS THE RICHEST PROVINCE OF CAMEROON, IN TERMS OF NATURAL RESOURCES YET IT IS THE ABOUT THE LEAST DEVELOPED PROVINCE OF OUR FATHERLAND.
THE CPDM REGIME WILL DO NOTHING TO THE LIMBE PORT, UNLESS THE SW MAN SPEAKS OUT OR JOINS THE NW MAN IN THE FIGHT AGAINST MARGINALISATION FROM THE FRENCH. THANKS.

Tekum Mbeng

Where were the MPs of Fako on this one. Where is SWELA?

Again, on matters of regional importance and development, it takes courage to stand up and be counted! Where are Musonge and Inoni on these matters?

We know real men when there is a problem.

Long live the incorruptible Hon P C Fonso - the man has more credibility in his toe nails than in the entire CPDM party.

Ndi. O

Limbe -seaport, Bamenda ring road,Tiko airport,Nwa road amongst others. They talk of feasibility studies and their unique Mps answer"yes sir" to their master. Did they get some orientation before pretending to represent the people in Parliament? They are too ignorant of what to do. We are waiting on them during the next session to vote and adopt a bill on the use of chopsticks in preference to spoons and our hands for that is what they may be good at. With the present regime in place, lets forget completely the "nightmare" about any so called project. Paul will not give it. All that can be done is to bury this regime. It is possible. Educate the young, old and less concerned family members and friends on the reasons for change. All the Anglophone Ministers, PM and some MPs are fake and are suffering from some sort of malignant infectious mental tumor, the medications which are yet to be discovered. What a pity.

Spirit

Reading through the different comments to this article, one can clearly discern that we English speaking Cameroonians are truely angry with the state of affairs which concern our North West and South West regions. That which rather aches me is the fact that we have resorted into thinking exactly in the way that Biya has always wanted. His method of ruling Cameroon(Biyaroon)has been built on the divide and rule policy. It therefore stands so much to his advantage when we have articles outlining that it was the North Westerner who did this and it was the South Westerner who didn't do the other. In my humble opinion, the way forward should reside intead in the re-awakening of all Anglophone Cameroonians to come to the realization on how backward we are being pushed. If for once the Parliamentarians have come to the reasoning that they can work for the betterment of the English speaking region regardless of their political leanings, then, I believe it's time all Anglophone took their destinies in their hands. "IF THE MOUNTAIN CAN'T GO TO MUHAMMED, MUHAMMED MUST GO TO THE MOUNTAIN." We should stop this nonsense of the idea that there is a South Westerner or a North Westerner.

Jojo

WERE ARE THE MPS FOR FAKO WHEN THIS FIGHT WAS HOT IN PALIAMENT?I COULD SEE MPS FROM FAR AWAY DONGA MANTUM AND MOMO WITH THE LONE VOICE FROM THE SOUTH WEST REGION HON PAUL AYAH WHO IS FAR OFF IN AKWAYA WERE ARE THE MPS OF FAKO,MEME,NDIAN,KUPE MANEGUBA AND MANYU?
WELL KEEP STAYING ON FOR BELLE POLITICS THE BOMB WILL EXPLODE SOMEDAY SOON THANKS OUR HON GUYS WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR THE ANGLOPHONES AS THEY CALL US.
BUT LEARN A LESSON ALL THE ANGLOPHONE MDS CAN MAKE A GOOD MOVE AS THE NORTHERNERS DID AND THE SEAPORT WILL BE GIVEN STAND AS ONE PERSON AND FIGHT FOR US PLEASE SDF OR CPDM.

rexon

Jojo et al, with the exception of Ayah and a few from the SDF who have persistently stood their grounds, most of those Anglophone MP's represent nobody apart from themselves. You would be dreaming if you expect them to collectively speak for us. I constantly remind you guys of the period of slavery. Rose Abunaw, Lifaka, Kwei, Inoni, like many of those MP's are house slaves who are ready to betray the collective will of the majority at anytime to gain favours from the french puppet slave masters like Paul Biya. We should simply ignore them and keep fighting for the liberation of our country. Lets dont be distracted by their folly in Camerounese parliament.

lonelyconcerned

WHO CARES ABOUT THE ENGLISH SPEAKING IN THIS COUNTRY? NOBODY BECAUSE MOST ANGLOPHONES DO NOT KNOW OR ARE JUST AFRAID TO FIGHT FOR THEIR RIGHTS. IMAGINE CAVAYE THE PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AT THE HEAD OF THE REVENDICATIONS WITH SERIOUS THREATS OF PUBLIC MANIFESTATIONS AGAINST THE CAMEROON REGIME THAT HE IS PART OF, FOR A SPECIAL TREATMENT TO BE GIVEN TO THE NORTHERN PROVINCES IN THE ENTRANCE INTO THE ECOLE NORMALE IN MAROUA? AND BIYA GIVING IN SO FAST. HOW MANT ANGLOPHONE POLITICIANS CAN DARE DO THAT? ANY TIME YOU COMPLAIN, YOU ARE ACCUSED OF WANTING BIYA TO REMOVE SOME PEOPLE FROM THEIR POSTS.REMEMBER A VICE CHANCELLOR WAS DISMISSED FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF BUEA FOR TRYING TO CLAIM THAT ANGLOPHONES OUGHT TO HAVE MORE PLACES IN THE NEWLY CREATED MEDICAL SCHOOL. TODAY WE HAVE THE PROVE THAT MAROUA ENS IS DIFFERENT.
WE NEED MANY AYAHS OVER THERE AND ONE DAY THE ANGLOPHONES WILL REACH THE LEVEL OF THE NORTHERNERS AND THE REGIME WILL KNOW THAT THE ANGLOPHONES EXIST AND OUGHT TO BE CONSIDERED ALSO

Hi All
My First Joy is the fact that so many people have been moved to respond to this news item.
The next step in my opinion is for people to vote during the next elections and remain by the polling stations to PROTECT their Vote.
No one will do it for you...As the saying goes, the price of freedom is perpetual Vigilance.

An Addendum to Nsom's Report on Victoria Sea Port, Southern Cameroons.

If up to today no one knows that the purpose of Cameroon Republic with it neocolonialist cohorts being in The Southern Cameroons (Ambazonia) is to buy time to get oil and that when the oil wells will dry out they will ask us to take out empty country and leave, then that person hasn't got a head.

There is not shortage of ports in The Southern Cameroons. The following coastal settlements are potential locations for deep sea ports that can take the largest ocean liners: Starting from the east of our littoral, you have Missellele; Tiko that had flourished from the days of the Germans (1884-1915) and when we were under the British (1915-1954); Bimbia, Man of War; Victoria whose name had been prostituted by the occupying Cameroon dictatorial regime to Limbe, (Limbe being a name of a brook given according the French tradition of assimilation). The others are Bota, Ngeme, Mojugange, Batoke, Bakingili, Mogange, Njonje, Isobi, Bugundi, Betika, and Bamusso. So you see, we have been blessed with so many locations facing the ocean and are not inhibited by sand as the alien's coast line. Even the creek extending to Ejundu-Titi, Archibon along the Akpa-Yafe River and right to Ngumu can be built to handle ships. The portential is enormous and many countries envy us. A counntry like Great Britain has 52 deep sea ports. Are they many? No!!! Gabon that has not got a population as high as ours, 7 million strong has four deep sea ports. Yet we have nothing because our fathers allowed some aliens with bad intentions to come into our country in 1961 and it was a grievous mistake.

I am even forgetting the great River Port of Mamfe. Barges plied the Cross River up to Mamfe via Nigeria in the rainy season. An agreement was signed in the colonial days between British Nigeria and Southern Cameroons to allow The Southern Cameroons water crafts to use the Cross River on conditions that they did not stop on the way from the Old Calabar, the Gulf of Guinea to remove or taken in goods or passengers else they were subjected to pay custom duties. That was a great arrangement that we see among decent countries traversed by the River Danube in Europe. The Mamfe River Port is never been used as Cameroon Republic is ever nervous that Southern Cameroons will benefit economically from such regional arrangement with Nigeria thus will become independent from them. Why do they keep on fearing Nigeria too when they share a common border that is there for infinity? Who have proved themselves to be bad guys? Who came to Bakassi to start a fight with Nigeria? Cameroon Republic. Is this how Africans help to develop themselves? Is this the legacy they will leave to their children?

You will see that in the hay days of Nigeria oil boom (late 1970s and early 1980s) there was plenty of construction projects and the then Government of the day was ready to assist in the building of the Victoria sea port and tar the Victoria-Mamfe-Ekok road but Ahidjo's regime could not fathom this. The plan was for Nigeria to import its building materials, particularly cement and use the Victoria-Kumba-Mamfe-Ekok highway. To the occupying government of Cameroon Republic, that would have meant a partial liberation of The Southern Cameroons from its dependency on Cameroon Republic. That was turned down. Dismissing that proposition, they remained with the ever silting river port of Douala where one needed and still do need to pay an arm a leg to get simple personal effects out. It is most probably the most corrupt seaport on earth and it is a shame.

We do not want this to divert our attention from the main cause, revival of the Independence of The Southern Cameroons. Also, the fear of the occupying government of Yaoundé was that jobs would be created for Southern Cameroonians and they would not be coming to the filthy cities of Yaoundé and Douala where their assimilation would be speeded up. As such the Nigerian plans were dismissed at their buds. I wonder what they send delegates to sit and talk at African Union meetings when they cannot build a single road to crisscross the sick continent.

Why do we go far? The shortest route for the laying of oil pipes from Chad to the Atlantic was via Victoria. Take a map of that your neighboring state Cameroon Republic and place a ruler from the town of Bongor in Chad to Victoria in The Southern Cameroons. Note the distance. Take another measurement from Bongor to Kribi following the pipe line and you will see that it is way longer than the former. Why then did the Yaounde regime not take the shortest route for the pipe line through Victoria as recommended by the engineers? To the occupying regime that would have been another way to create jobs for the anglos (their abusive term of addressing Southern Cameroonians variously known as Ambazonians). The head of state of Cameroon Republic who ever fakes his sickness as his way of sounding his popularity when travelling abroad and wants to leave a legacy for his people like Mobutu Sese Seko of the past Zaire that left intenecine wars pointed to Kribi.

Now you know why Kribi was chosen and not the shortest route via Victoria. There are questions that a sympathetic and sensible spatial planner would ask. Why is oil being refined at Victoria and stored in a depot at Bafoussam? Why not at Memfe if it is absolutely necessary that it had to be stored kilometers away from the refineries? It is another way to enrich themselves and impoverished Southern Cameroonians. If not, what are their rationales? They do not answer such questions. To start with, they are not democratic and it is a police state.

What has Cameroon Republic ever done for its new "colony," The Southern Cameroons? The Kumba-Mamfe-Bamenda road was the one that linked the southern forested zone to the Grassfields. Today, the road is virtually impassable and Southern Cameroonians are deliberately forced to use Mungo-Bafoussam-Bamenda road where they are constantly harassed each blessed day by uncouth highway men in uniforms as they consider Southern Cameroonians "enemies in the house." I am quoting their words. Why are we enemies when we are not standing on their territory? They are our enemies for they forcibly stand on ours. They have never got it that The Southern Cameroons is a separate country that willy-nilly had to be independent. The leading powers of the world can opt to be silent that it is not their concern. They are citizens of the world as Southern Cameroonians. If not, what is the role of the United Nations Organization? What is the role of the EEC and NATO? What is that high-sounding emponym ECOWAS? It puzzles me that there are even some stooges (citizens who sell out their country to the enemies) who still want to have the sympathy of La Republique du Cameroun as per Mr. Nsom's write up.... to use the Southern Cameroons oil money to build their ports for them. They are bought to sit in their Yaounde parliament to fool the world that they cooperate with citizens of Southern Cameroons. Do they? Some youths buy it and that is where we have to concentrate on their distorted education on The history of The Southern Cameroons. We once had the Queen of England as our Head of State and not General Charles de Gaul. Did they ever sing "God save our Gracious Queen.."?

What is wrong with The Southern Cameroons building her ports? Is it not high time that Southern Cameroons citizens walk out of that French parliament at Yaounde? They did from Lagos and eventually Enugu in a bigger country than Cameroun Republic of today in 1954. How long does it take a people to know that they are serious? Why do they think that the Buea Parliament that once knew true democracy than that of the occupying forces cannot serve Southern Cameroonians to their liking?

VW

red flag

they cannot do they way they did in enugu
because, they minds are currupted, and they never were elected by the citizens
to start with in the first place.

soo, thats exactlt what i wrote some time
last year, that there is no reason to have 3 liberation organisation, scnc, scapo, scyl must all unite and strenghten the energies to that of a full liberation war. and their goal and
raised funds worldwide to buy weapons and train fighters and take back britih southern cameroons, for it have once again proven that, the force of the argure doesnt work, its the arguement of force that work, like the one paul biya is using. we need only force to counter force, not words.

cameroon4eva

Hi Red Flag & VW
I can only congratulate you for your insight! Very beautiful piece there indeed VW.
However If we should take up arms for example, what good would that do for us without the support of the "major" powers as they seek to be known?
If anything they are the very reason we find ourselves where we are today.
Never forget that "He who beats the war drums must be ready to dance the war dance"
When picking a strategy for ourselves we must be sure that we can hold the stern to berth.
That said my suggestion is to continue renewing our creative spirit to invent and produce goods of economic value to enrich our communities. As you are aware development partners have been building water projects and support electrification projects in Cameroon for a long time. We must focus our energies on these.
If your creativity and entrepreneurship is stifled by "The Occupant" please leave the country. You do not have to go to Western Europe or the Americas, East, West and Southern Africa all have countries that will welcome your talent and support it.
South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, Angola, Nigeria, Ghana, Cape Verde All come to mind.
As Red Flag mentioned in our world today, not just cameroon it is the Argument of Force and not the Force of Argument that triumphs, however i must remind you that the Argument of Force speaks a certain Language, that Language is "MONEY".
So my brothers and sisters may we look back at our history today, hold our peace, be still and STRATEGISE.
Remember: A Noisy River May be Toyed With But Only A Fool Would Approach a Silent Lake With Wanton Abandon
Our Silence Shall Be Greater Than Our Noise

Cameroon Obosso!

Fon.

VW,
You know not only the facts, but equally how to put them together.
There is no weapon that is stronger than knowledge. The occupying forces will shiver when they read the truth.
On the other hand, we have ourselves to blame because many of us, because of selfish interest, have refused to reason like you. There is no Anglophone who is not aware of our marginalisation. It is so sad that we have prime ministers who only serve as stooges to Paul Biya. Inoni thinks only of strategies to ensure that he is maintained in the next cabinet reshuffle and nothing about the situation of Anglophones.
If Anglophones must succeed, they should start by killing top fellow anglophones working in Biya´s government. They are the ones killing us and we should not also sympathise with them.Period.

Watesih

Fon,
You got it completely wrong.I know you and I would not like to ignite a fratricidal war among English speaking Cameroonians. After having killed the top government officials working in Biya`s government, what are you going to do with their children who very much reason like their fathers? Every year or two, Biya comes up with a new Cabinet,so how would the killing of his stooges stop him from appointing many others in the future. Our problem in Cameroon is that of a system that is dictated from outside. In Cote D`Ivoire, people like Gbagbo have tried to off root this canker worm but you know how difficult that is.If we have good laws, taking care of wayward brothers like those Biya appoints is very easy. Our brothers who serve in Biya`s government are crumb eaters. It is their flesh that is weak. Most of them are strangers to the laws France dictates to the leaders of the country. So you see they do not even understand what they are serving. Those of our brothers serving Biya are also capable of being good leaders if they are under a good leader.People like Lambi,Paul Ayah have shown us that it is the environment that has corrupted our men.

foncameroon

There are no two ways to bury the marginalisation of southern Cameroon. The French in conspiracy of the successive headaches of state of Cameroon have done all they can to keep West Cameroon useless and hopeless. Only the southern Cameroonians can sort themselves out. The earlier we send away the french vicariouse rule in Cameroon then we start thinking of a better Cameroon. What a disgrace for Paul Biya submitting to the french President Sakozi, who could be his son by birth right? So will Cameroon remain under the baster control of the french who can rap it over her little finger. God save our souls

mk the southerner

It is very very uncontainable that some Southern Cameroonians still see themselves as Anglophones. At the same time blaming other Southern Cameroonians that we do not reason as one. Its a pity if you are only an Anglophone. Start shaking the dust of your body and some one will be able to help you where your hand can not reach.

Ma Mary

Fon, you want to kill other Southern Cameroonians (what you call anglofools)? No. Never. We do not do that. You have made a flawed ahistorical analysis.

Ma Mary

Those who ignore the evidence and will not join hands for one final big push to remove ourselves (Southern Cameroonians) from this situation. I know your disease. It is either THIS ONE OR THIS ONE. Your captors will not yield a quarter or an inch until you all are either exiles or slaves.

Ma Mary

OR DEAD of AIDS, or frustration, or stress or alcohol or died in your soul and mutated into a fake happy frog.

red flag

I can asure you guys. all. that. the die is cast/ some one said we need the support of the big powers to shake -off this slavery enterprise of france and paul biya. on our land. but he doesnt reason, that they the big powers are saying, its our fight, and if we can atleast start ti fight for our independence ,they wont intervene. soo,
except , we are on the wrong side of history, going by this new comer(cameron4ever) i dont know what cameroun he is referring?since they are 2 cameroons, not the rubbish propaganda that paul biya have been cooking. but if he knows what he is writing, he will know, that, all colonizers. like paul biya CAMEROUN, in history, germany in france, south africa in namibia, ethiopia in eritea. etc.. have always been driven off, by military force, no amount of words can subtitude that.

WE NEED AN ARMY OF OUR TO DEFEND AND FREE US FROM CAMEROUN COLONIAL RULE,
THATS THE ANSWER. ALL ARE WRONG. 46 YRS HAVE PROVEN THAT. FROM FEDERAL STATES OF 2 COUNTRIES TO UNITED REPUBLIC, TO PROVINCE OF CAMEROUN , TO REGION OF CAMEROUN WE STILL REMAIN QUIET.
PLEASE GIVE ME A BREAK, IF SOME ONE WOULD HAVE ATLEAST BLOWN UP THE HOMES OF THOSE FOREIGN GOUVERNORS IN BUEA AND BAMENDA, SENT BY BIYA, , THEY WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE THEY CAME.

why we southern Kamerun always rattle & rabble to breakaway for independence?I think we, the english speaking Kamerun must stop fighting against one another. We must trust each other. The Northwesterner is ready to sell the southwesterner for a PM appointment under this tyranic and despot rule of so-called Paul Biya.
We,the english speaking Kamerun have more problems than solutions. The Northwesterner calls the southwesterner a traitor while forgetting that it was still one of theirs(Late John Ngu Foncha & co)that took us to the East Kamerun because they were at the helm of then political circle. But now things have change as we all know that what goes around comes around.now they are crying calling the southwesterners traitors.
I am personally against the intentions of Fru Ndi for president. We,the southwesterners know the outcome if he should win. Now,everyone is crying against Biya dictatoral rule but the worst will be the Fru Ndi nepotism, tribal and Bamendail regime, where if you are not from the north west then get lost.
A typical illustration is in the municipal of Tiko,in southwest province where Fombot Richard,a native of Bali, northwest province is elected Major of Tiko Council. He promised NO TO NEPOTISM and TRIBALISM but when he built his 3813 bar-resturant or whatever in Tiko,He went to Bamenda to recruit workers.he is the mayor of Tiko municipality he employes but nortwesterners. Now,the Bakwerians are very disappointed.
However, this is just a tip of iceberg.what if tomorrow the southern Kamerun gets independence? Then the final battle will be between Buea and Bamenda, even though there is no resources coming from northwest province. But one thing is for sure,we,southwesterners will not let history repeat itself.the northwesterners should stop accusing the southwesterners everytime.i think they should just keep quiet and lick their wounds."na una carry we go dere na una go bring we back"

Popomustgo,

There are lots of lies in your write-up above. I am not a supporter of Mr Fombot Richard, however, if i want to draw your attention to the fact that he built his 3813 before became mayor and did not go to Bamenda to employ people. So there is no link between his mayoral position and his business. Secondly, i think it is the CPDM that spends time trying to divide NW from the SW. An average Nortwestener or Southwestener do not have any problem with each other.

Any time any one post any thing, referring to the cameroons as (kamerun) every one should know that, this one is a french camerounese, they believe, southern cameroons is their property, handed to them by germany, whereas, they had their independence from france.
thats exactly, their mentality of fraud, lies and deceit, they have been trying to decieve the world, and its cathing up with them, they have 4 years to produce the map of the country,of 1961 independence fron france. as all african
intellectuals are debating at the african commission on the scapo, scnc, scyl complaint for the long over due independence of southern cameroons.
Kamerun is an imagination it never existed and can never exist.

Parliament? What parliament?
It provides employment to the so called parliamentarians their drivers, secretaries, the staff and all. That should be about 1500 to 2000 people employed directly or indirectly.
I must credit them though for having raised a few feathers about corruption and the uncountable 'isms.' Apart from that, there's really no need for the NA.

Only Biya's decisions counts, he is the alpha omega. The rest is just to animate public life. Who even gives a damn what they ever get to talk about?

Join me this day for a short special prayer, for the quick, peaceful death of the tyrant, Paul Biya.

Popomustgo,
Why are you fighting with yourself? You start off by crying out for us to stand as one, only to betray your original intentions by asking the Northwesterners to lick their wounds.Your name popomustgo shows that you are one of those trying to play with the destiny of English speaking Cameroonians. You cannot wish popol to go,and at the same time blame "English Kamerun"for seeking independence. Your stale song about the dichotomy between the north and Southwest is the first lesson that is taught those apprenti sorciers who have elected to be House slaves for eternity. You pick one individual, the Mayor of Tiko, and he becomes a representation of all Northwest negativity.Should Northwesterners also pick Agbor Tabi, and claim that all Southwesterners are as evil as he is? We have heard your cry petit man with petit wits! That Biya should not leave power, because you have a lot of disdain for your own brothers. If you want to pass for his mouthpiece anyway, know that it is not going to work on this forum!

That is understandable that cash makes us independent. But what to do when somebody does not have cash? The one way only is to get the home loans or just short term loan.
