The "Southern Cameroon Question"
Am very pleased to part take in such a heated exchange of ideas on how to find a solution to the "Southern Cameroon question", having been my self at forefront in the fight against the statusquo in cameroon back in the 90s i think i understand how firm the killer mechanism of Ahidjo and Biya works and their determination to imperalise cameroon, it would better for us to have a very constructive well thought and realistic discussion rather than attacking our self and throwing words at each other. I want to believe that every one us in this bolg has got a point and a genuine reason for being here, we are all united here in this blog under one unbrella, because we have a common enermy and it is the "statusquo" in cameroon, so lets come together as a ("united front" which already exists in hamburg-germany, if interested mail me at: paddyasanga@yahoo.com) for progress and agree on something concret for our country.
To start with let agree on this point, we all want democracy and progress in cameroon cus for almost 3 decades this country has been stagnant to be very polite cus its still our country we do not want to discourage foreign investors of goodwill, some will say Ahidjo was bad but biya is worst or vise versa but the truth is that they are all the same devils in different masks who should be acredited for nothing positive as far the history of this country is concerned. They are identical twin with diferent names who leave an survive on human blood.
The "southern cameroon question" has never been of interest to any of these clowns who call them selves presidents but have never known what it means holding an office on the mandate of an electorate, which justice thier brutal and tyranic style of rolling. Some of you would bear with me that in modern days politics you do not abandone a territory where you have an electrified electorate.I am of the opinion that there are two strategies or solutions to the "southern cameroon question".
1 The forcefull strategy
2 The political strategy
The forceful strategy from my own point of view is very very dangerous an risky cus Biya is not different from Saddam Hussain some boody his uses chemical gases to kill his own country people, just think of the "Lake Nyos" incident, do we want to risk so many lifes in addition those lust who are not even remembered today in any biya and his gang of killers? Remember that tyrants are very unpredictable, not with standing the fact the southern cameroon has already sacrificed and invested alot of resources in the present cameroon so, blood and human life investment would be too naive on our part as cameroonians, the two cameroons are to old in marriage to be divorced at this piont in history.
The political strategy is more appealling and most promissing to me and some of the the members of the "united front" i have recently talked to. I strongly believe that the political strategy would be to go back to a ferderated cameroon as was the case when we were trusted to the french and the british after the germans were defeated and we got in to the present day´s mud in which we are currently sinking in. A federated cameroon would garantee the authonomy and integrety of each province nowing fully well how federalism works, this would also be some kind of compromised bringing together the two schools of thought as far as the "southern cameroon question" is concerned namely; the "Cessesionists" and those who are for the " The Rebuplic". Nowing fully well how a good federal state fuctions, our leaders would be bound to be accountable only to thier electorate thus wipping the notion of absolute power which corrupts absolutely. The road to this path is parliamentary and contitutional .... join me and other for more of the discussion per email: paddyasanga@yahoo.com but this dicussion would be continued here
