A reasoned analysis of the case.

Bob Bristol

This is an outstanding victory for Southern Cameroonians. We have one last tread to pop champagnes and commit ourselves immediate and rapidly in the reconstruction of our beloved nation. The UN must not be given a breathing space now. They have to nullify this mess which has made us to suffer for almost half a century.

Lets put in all we can to get the ruling of the UN by the 1st of October 2010.

The herald

"They MADE WITH DARKNESS IN THE DAY-TIME, and groped in the noonday as in the night."

"The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, on them has the light shined."

The herald

Also have a look at this;

The herald

SCNC did call for a dialoque with La Republique on many ocassions but La Republique decided to pay a deaf ear, claiming that SCNC GRIEVANCES were baseless.
Why should we always wait for others to decide or dictate for us?Are we not matured enough to perceive issues of this nature with all our senses?
Or is it only the seed of oppression that is deep rooted in la republique,so much so that,it has become immune to whatever possible solutions suggested by SCNC and SWAPO to crises that arise?

The herald

correction:deep should read as deeply

Toivi

THE HERALD,
I love that Biblical quote, i love it so much. I wonder if you listen to George F Handel's Messaiah vol Track 9,10 and 11. He composed such a great bass solo with that quote. I remember the hey days in the UB when the UB Choir used to sing, i used to sit and ponder on this, wonderful piece isnt it. Now, our people have walked in darkness for a long time, and as the scriptures predicts, we have startd seeing the great light.
I am of the opinion that we should not follow the recommendation of the African commission to sit and fellowship with those kleptomanic idiots. Its ofcourse on of such recommendations oof the UN that dragged us into this mess.
As slomo used to say, water and parafin cannot mix. Its not only in cameroon,

-- Look at sudan, the north and south, despite the hypocrisy of the UN, they are still divided simply bc the norh is muslim and south Animists and christians

-- look at Cyprus, despite the numerous peacekeeping missions, the muslim north and orthodox south would just never dine together
so why pretend Anglophones and frogs will ever be one, with such alarming differences?

ftroit

French speaking Cameroonians are not our enemies. We're just setting the record straight by wanting out of the union which but for fraud, should not have been. We shouldn't be francophone bashers. It's nothing personal against them, it's just that we're doing what is right and what should have been. Heck, once we get our country Southern Cameroons and begin manufacturing "Made in Southern Cameroons" cars and other technology, we'll need a market for these cars. If we avoid bashing them much, we could count on them doing business with us.

DANGO TUMMA

lets not start celebrating yet.
the bible says pray ye without ceasing, for the devil too is hard at work at night.
french cameroun and france would be thinking how to spin the UN INTO TALKING SOUTHERN CAMEROONS LEADERS INTO SOME FORM OF POLITICAL PARTY OR FEDERATION, SOME ONE SHOULD DRAW THE EARS OF THOSE IN SCNC/SCAPO
THAT THE GOLDEN WORD THAT MUST BE INCLUDED IN THEIR DEMAND IS (INDEPENDENCE) BY WAY OF A REFERANDUM IN SOUTHERN CAMEROONS.

DANGO TUMMA

7M SOUTHERN CAMEROONIANS ARE OF THE OPINION
THAT UN OR NO UN, THEY WANT THEIR INDEPENDENCE THAT WAS FRAUDULENTLY STOLEN BY THE SAME UN IN 1961, SOO THE LEADERS OF SCNC/SCAPO MUST MAKE THIS UN UNDERSTANDS THAT WE REALLY WANT OUR INDEPENDENCE YESTERYEARS. AND WITH THEM OR NOT, WE WILL .

emma

the 180 days are rapidly running out,la republique

The herald

Hi Toivi,I think you are right but I do not know whether you recommend that we should directly confront the UN and ask for outright independence or we should keep both the UN and negotiations with La Republique du Cameroon aside.
And what of if we are asked to go back to the federated states system of government?

william sm

william sm
mr toivi answering your question, federation is not an uption. we want our country back; it was stolen from us by the advice from the french government. i call all southern cameroonian to put faith in this struggle. i can see the light at the end of the tunel and i believe s.cameroonians have also seen the light. we just need to press forward without losing hope we will prevail against this intruders.

A proud and relentless CPDM member.

Day dreamers.

Mjj

Southern Cameroon was an independent country with international boundaries until LRC rushed in their troops to take over and colonize it. We really have nothing to negotiate about with LRC

How do you negotiate with a criminal who invaded your house, killed your children, raped your wife and pretended to your neighbors that he came in to help you???

Toivi

confront the UN, afterall they dragged us in the mess

Toivi

federated states, rubbish, so as to dine with kleptimaniacs again
slomo, i will never forget this
water and parafin can never mix, lets not pretend

The herald

"we will prevail against these intruders".
ya,you can say that again,it is crystal clear and final.May I add that the road to freedom is not always smooth,it will be rocky,we will encounter principalities, temptation, trials etc.But with determination, the will of the people will pevail.Like the Israeli,we should forge forward towards the promise land. So,as you rightly say, let's not look back.NO TURNING BACK!!!!

You are a lazy illusion? If you say so.

Dipoko Get lost sir.

Mr Alain Dipoko, How can one force a mad man to put on clothes if he decides to walk naked?
Or hush him down when he rants nonsense. No one can 'censor' you. You are not worth censoring.
Your Yaounde regime is faring well, right?
You portray your inferior French culture with so much tactlessness while forgetting to remember how stinky your inner chambers are. Filthy indeed! The guys who rioted and who killed in the September 28 2008 strike were 'Anglofous'? They weren't your kind right? Clean you mental mess and remain brave. You are a coward! Just like your masters the French who have never won a war! You are just their tool remote controlled by lame phony ideas generated my myopic concerns, always afraid of the bigger picture. You are no visionary. A disgrace to the intellectual cream of La Republique who are gradually acknowledging the Southern Cameroons issue. Of course you aren't an intellectual. You smack of constant timidity imbued with extreme apathy just like all those who have allowed The French and now the Americans to kick the arses of you, your generation, and your children's generation. You will surely blame Southern Cameroonians for not tarring the road to your village, or not providing medicine for your sick in your poor village in La Republique, even though oil is tapped in their back yard. Then the scattered peanuts you receive as wages in wherever you are, will embolden you to glorify a stealing master. Real quisling. Come back with your garbage and when real intellectuals surface on this forum, they may still ignore you not because you make sense, but because only a mad man will argue with one.
Check 'voice of the oppressed' http://www.nebafuh.com/2009/10/how-america-is-supporting-biyas-dictatorship.html , to know how Biya is depriving your children's generation. He will one day catch Biya in your matrimonial bed and glorify him!!! Real Coward!!!

Dipoko, get lost. Go to the frogosphere.

The herald

Yabassi Dipoko
